Just wanted to say how much I appreciate this add-on @HusKy.

I have a spreadsheet with every one of my PS3, PSV, PS4 and PS5 purchases on it. I was able to use my spreadsheet and your add-on to create a true backlog list. It took me a couple of days but now I know that I have 813 unstarted/uncompleted PS games thanks to creating a backlog list using PSNP+.

Thanks for your hard work...

I'm glad you like it. You should also make a backup of your data if you haven't made one yet.

To do that, go to PSNP+ Settings -> Data -> Export and save this file somewhere safe -- ideally in Dropbox, Google Drive or similar.

Yo @HusKy,

Just wanted to hop on here and say thank you for all the effort you put into PSNP+. I've had the extension since November of last year and it's a game changer, and makes the site soo much better to navigate through. The list functionality you added a while back is soo good for me in terms of organizing my backlog on here, and the fact that you provide steady updates is very commendable.

Keep up the good work sir, you the real PSNP MVP ?

@HusKyInstalled your script just minutes ago on latest Chromium Edge (Version 98.0.1108.62) and can confirm that it is working 100%.

May I suggest two features, which are maybe an enhancement for "#3 - Load progress in guides from other trophy lists" and the progress list in general:
1) When I use the sidebar to load the progress from a PS5 game into a PS4 trophy guide, the actual progress is visible in the sidebar with the slightly green color.
But the progress in not colored in the trophy guide itself. -> Is it possible to achieve, that the progress in the guide section is also colored?
 /edit This is working, sorry.

2) Is it possible to get a feature which allows to choose the color, which is used to mark the trophy progress?

Thank you very much for an answer.

Feature request:

Pull trophy completion% into the result items of https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q= .
This way we can search for games (for example when browsing PS Store during discount sales) and see if we have already started the game (shows 0% completion or higher) without having to enter the trophy list for games to see if we have earned any trophies.
It's also nice to have as an overview of trophy completion in those cases where a "PSNProfiles series" does not exist for the games that we want to compare side-by-side.

I'm not sure how resource intensive this is or if feasible at all, maybe for a start a semi-transparent button can be added for the search results page in the top-left corner to toggle pulling this data.

Is button that directs you from forum post to trophy list a good idea?

This script does not run on the forum (which is basically a separate "website" running on its own subdomain). However, you can quickly get from thread to trophy list with 2 clicks -- go to game's subforum (click "ELDEN RING" at the top) and then click "Trophies".

You can already see progress sort of, started games have light yellow background. (Also blue and green background is used depending on completion rate.)

I can't see the light yellow background, besides I'm using Dark Reader so background colors as cues don't really help me.
I see the blue/green marked effect on my profile page, but not in the search results page, eg. https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=tetra
Here the PS4 EU version should be somehow highlighted for me, but it isn't, which makes it impossible at a glance to see which stacks I have played or completed.

EDIT: Seems to be a local issue for me where trophy progress is not indicated by background color in results page, troubleshooting it now.

UPDATE: The issue was I didn't have a game list set up which caused some issues. After setting up at least one game list and resetting the plugin the issue fixed itself. Thanks to Husky for troubleshooting with me!

I have some feedback on various components of PSNP+.

Game Lists

Every feedback point here refers to the functionality and interface of https://psnprofiles.com/psnid#gamelists

  • Persist order setting: Custom is the default order setting, and custom is what is set by default when switching the selected game list to view.
I would like to have the order setting to persist. A use case would be ordering my CLEANUP game list by "Progress (Descending)", while having my WISHLIST game list ordered by "Date Added (Ascending)". As it is right now, I have to set the order setting manually each time I visit a specific game list.
  • Populate list from valid URLs: Currently we have to manually add games to lists. Wouldn't it be great if for example I specify eg. https://psnprofiles.com/games?publisher=1281-kemco as a URL in a "source URL" parameter when creating a new game list, and the list is populated with all items from this URL. There could be a set interval at which a rescan is done, or it could be triggered by visiting https://psnprofiles.com/psnid#gamelists, but that's just an implementation detail. Another URL example would be eg. https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=kemco (I realize the same items are not there, it's just an example). Of course, the "valid URL" can be specified in the implementation (regex match the URL), provide the user a "red box" if they input an invalid URL or just give an error in the game list when a scan has failed.
  • Change background color of items: The items in your profile ( https://psnprofiles.com/psnid ) or in Games search results ( https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q= ) apply a light blue bg color to platinumed games and a green bg color to 100% games. Unfortunately game lists don't apply this bg color to list items. It's an easy fix though in terms of implementation, simply apply the HTML classes class="completed" and class="platinum" on the <tr> elements that represent the list items for the corresponding CSS styling to be applied.
  • Tag selection is obscured: If you have as little as 2 or more tags in a game list, which consists of 10 or more games, then clicking on the "Manage Tags", it pops up in such a way that you can't see the lower half or more of the selections (UPDATE: actually it enlarges the window on the Y-axis, so it's possible to scroll down). Is it possible to make it pop upwards from the mouse pointer for easier selection? I understand it's a lot of extra geometry code for a very minor problem, but would be nice anyway and make the interface feel more "native".
#1 Clicking on Manage Tags in a long game list with lots of tags
            01-managetags.png
#2 Scrolling down let's me see the rest of the options (so no loss of functionality but would be great if I didn't have to scroll down..)
            02-managetags-scroll-down.png

Unobtainable Trophies Tracker

These feedback points refer to the functionality of marking unobtainable trophies: https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/118915-psnp-unobtainable-trophies-master-list/

  • Don't mark platinum trophy as unobtainable if remaining trophies for that game (trophy list) can still be earned, eg. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/864-mortal-kombat/ryuji_sakujo?trophies=unearned, I can still earn the remaining 2 trophies so the platinum trophy should not be marked in my case.
I assume this can be done by comparing a flagged "unobtainable" trophy and checking what the logged in user status for it is (whether it is earned or unearned). In pseudocode, something like: if trophy.state == "earned" then trophy.styling == "default"; And then checking if none of the remaining trophies are unobtainable then set the platinum trophy's state also to "default".
  • Don't mark games as uncompletable if all the remaining trophies can still be earned. Currently an exclamation circle is added next to games (trophy lists) in the profile or game series (which is great) but if I have remaining trophies that can still be earned then I'd like this exclamation circle to be omitted from being appended to those particular trophy lists.
  • Speaking of the exclamation circle, please add the exclamation circle to games in the Games search results pagehttps://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=
It would be great to see a cautionary warning on the results page, especially for myself (idk about others here) as I use the Games search waaay more than any other functionality on PSNP. It's usually the "entrypoint" to this website for me, I have it bound to a custom search engine keyword and use it extensively to quickly check region stacks (when I'm shopping in PS Store), navigate to game series, navigate to trophy guides, etc. It's basically my homepage of PSNP. So would be great to have this little piece of added PSNP+ functionality there too! ?

Thanks for reading all the way here and for continuing to support this awesome plugin and helping the trophy hunting community! ?
Also would like to know if you have Patreon or BMAC so at least we can give back even a little for all the value you're bringing us! ?

This has been suggested multiple times and I would like to add this as a per-list setting.

This probably won't be added. While I can do certain amount of automated scraping in the background, I don't want to add anything that makes an indefinite amount of HTTP requests automatically. There's already the refresh feature which if triggers many requests depending on the size of your lists and it might go away at some point.

In general, PSNP+ is designed to collect useful data while you are browsing PSNProfiles naturally by visiting different pages and I'd like to keep it that way.

For example, this search result would trigger ~140 HTTP requests: https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=car

Quote
  • Change background color of items: The items in your profile ( https://psnprofiles.com/psnid ) or in Games search results ( https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q= ) apply a light blue bg color to platinumed games and a green bg color to 100% games. It's an easy fix though in terms of implementation, simply apply the HTML classes class="completed" and class="platinum" on the <tr> elements that represent the list items for the corresponding CSS styling to be applied.

This will be added. Easy fix.

Tag dropdown is very wonky. It uses existing dropdown available on the website. I want to improve it but it's not my priority right now.

Yes, I would like to improve this as well so that the information takes into account existing progress. I still want to display that the trophies are actually unobtainable (for others at least), so I will have to find some middle ground here.

Not possible right now because the script does not track individual progress per trophy list. Maybe in the future. I already know that this would be a lot of data to store somewhere but I have an idea for improvement here.

I think this could be added quite easily.

Don't worry about that. B)

(Also, what's "BMAC"? Google didn't help.)

If you mean the averages displayed here:

and here:

https://psnprofiles.com/games

Unfortunately, not feasible with the script.

Feature request: Delisted Games Master List
Any plans of implementing a "Delisted Games Master List"? Similar to how we have the "Unobtainable Trophies Master List" but for another purpose.
It would be extremely helpful (well for some of us), to have PSNP+ highlight games that we can no longer acquire, especially in search results or games series here on PSNP.
There is already a decent list of delisted games on this forum: https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/48142-upcoming-server-shutdowns-delistings/
Maybe other forum threads too, there's also this: https://delistedgames.com/all-delisted-playstation-4-games/

In addition to this, just like the current masterlist we'd be able to report a game as delisted and provide proof that it's no longer in the PS Store for a specific region (by linking to store.playstation.com for that region or for example show that PSPrices no longer tracks the item), can do it in another thread just like for the "unobtainable trophies".

Use case:
I was searching for Cybxus Heart stacks on various stores: https://psnprofiles.com/search/games?q=Cybxus
Found most of them and links to the store.
EU(SE) - https://psprices.com/region-se/game/4595689/cybxus-heart
NA(US) - https://psprices.com/region-us/game/4596213/cybxus-heart
AS(HK) - https://psprices.com/region-hk/game/4597528/cybxus-heart
KR - https://psprices.com/region-kr/game/4750033/cybxus-heart
JP (missing) - https://psprices.com/region-jp/search/?q=cybxus&platform=PS4&show_dlc=on&content_type=

So I went about looking at it on SerialStation:
https://serialstation.com/search/?search=Cybxus
Tried inputting content ID's into PS Store JP URL:
https://store.playstation.com/ja-jp/product/JP5299-CUSA27744_00-4538560832614977

https://store.playstation.com/ja-jp/product/JP5299-CUSA27744_00-PSTRACK000000000

No results..

So I scratched my head a bit, and then went into the JP stack trophy list, and found this forum post:

https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/109088-delisted/
That solved the mystery..

But wouldn't it be great if the JP stack was just marked with a distinct background color from the beginning, maybe with another icon than exclamation circle (suggestion: a shopping cart with a diagonal line crossing over it). If this was the case then I would immediately know the game is delisted from the first step without having to do extra investigation. :)

Well that's my use case, and it would bring real value to myself, hopefully other users of PSNP+ too that would quickly like to see if a game has been delisted!
Thanks for reading if you got this far. :D

@PlatinumTrophy has previously asked about this, with even offering to host the list, but, at this time, it's not seen as high a priority, especially when it would require constant updating as more games have unexpected removals. If the idea ever comes to fruition, I know several dozens of delisted PS4s/Vitas that could be added.

hi, what about a setting to change time from AM/PM to 24H?

Also a fix for the game search engine should be useful (standard rules instead of boolean)

and what about a setting for adjusted rarity on dlc trophies? as now, dlc rarity is based only on people that actually "own" that dlc (i imagine how it works but it will long to explain). The result is we have dlcs with 10% rarity while they are very hard and almost no one has it. It will be also very easy to implement

example:

Schermata-2022-03-28-alle-16-50-13.jpg

1048 achievers / 133522 owners X 100 = 0,78%

of course i dont mean to use this adjusted rarity to also get automatically adjusted profiles stats, like the number of ultra rare trophies unlocked. This will remain as it is. I mean only that it will be visible on trophy list at least its possible to know immediately if a certain trophy is easy or not.

This is already available. When you're on a trophy list you can toggle the "Global DLC rarities" on and off in the floating PSNP+ menu in the upper left corner of the page.

The game needs to have DLC available and you need to have PSNP rarities enabled by default.
