kidson2004
Sometime this month I’ll be in the market for a gaming chair. I’ll have a budget of $170.00 towards it. What chairs would you all suggest I should start off with?
Lorajet
I bought the Homall Gaming Chair in black/white for $90.00/free shipping (Amazon) and can say it is just as good as the $200 model I got rid of. voodoo_eyes
Office chairs are generally superior in quality as well as comfort than any "gaming chair". Either way, you should check out this video, and other similar ones to get more info on what to look out for. Lorajet
@kidson2004 BTW, it replaced the "wonderful ergonomic" $200 office chair which gave me absolutely no support. Edited September 5, 2019 by Lorajet
Xyleh
Any recommendations for an ergonomic, prescription strength gaming couch?
machaesthetic
I use a wooden kitchen chair without arm rests and have for a number of years, with no issues, aches, or pains. The main thing is that you rest your forearms on your desk at a comfortable level and adjust your monitor to be level with your eyes. I recommend a nice butcher block desk with plenty of desk space and leg room. Here is some example of what an ideal setup for functionality and ergonomics would look like (keep in mind that with a controller you would be holding your controller about where the keyboard is and resting your forearms on the desk)
