i just realised that control is set in the same universe as alan wake which i think is pretty cool. most people probably dont care about the collectibles in this game but thats where all the lore is and its quite interesting. i recommend reading everything you come across.

Yeah it's great! The content of those collectibles makes such a connection it feels like this is more of an Alan Wake spin off hehe

I wish there was a YT analysis video that does this game justice like Ryan Hollinger's Symmetry video for Far Cry 3. The two I've seen there just regurgitate stuff that could be found with engine searches and some slapstick vanilla judgements of the good ol' black and white, good vs. evil sub-concept
