What Platinums/100% you regret doing?

I forgot to mention Orc Slayer.

One of the cream of the crop as far as shitty games go, although Little Adventure on the Prairie has probably taken the honors. Completely awful. Horrible, dated N64 era graphics. Terrible framerate. Sheer amounts of lag. Enemies get stuck in areas they should just walk right through. Extremely tedious and overly repetitive gameplay. Bad sound effects. All around bad.

In the sprit of the post I reminded myself of a game long ago named Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. I'd really enjoyed Tiger Woods on the PS2, in fact I got the PS2 because of it, so brought this title in 2011 only to foolishly realise that PGA Tour 11 was out of date and I should have gotten 2012. The servers were dead and if I remember correctly it was the first time I got involved in boosting to get the 12 v 12 trophy, that was in November 2011. After that I only had one trophy left named Hanging Chad but it was unavailable, me and a number of others contacted the dev's to get it up and running but it took until September 2012 before they decided to put up the penultimate survey before the servers closed for good.

It was a good learning experience, rule of thumb now is never buy a game with a year in the title. Their shelf life is so limited and their subsequent releases rarely offer anything that couldn't be offered in a patch, total waste of money and that was before they turned into casino's with microtransactions. Shudder.

Little Adventure on the Prairie, maybe Mayo but when I got that one I was new to the PS4 and just looking to take in everything I could ( the $.99 price didn't hurt either), and any of the ones I got from you know who and their ports.

world war z, the grind on that game is ridiculous not to mention trying to find people to play insane mode. took me a entire month to finish and i dropped about 500+ ranks on the leaderboard

why regret those?. people always make fun of those games because their cheap fast platinums, but you already have over 100 plats. i got shit for having mayo as a platinum, but i have nearly 600 games alot that i havent even had time to play yet. sometimes even small fast games are worth a try imo after youve played as many as us.

me and a friend play a game called 09 inside its a basketball game that had 1080 hd on ps3. everytime he visits he wants to play me in that game. its the only sports game i'll play but unfortunately the servers were closed i think the same year it came out because it never went me online, ever. so it sucks when that happens

Mayo doesn't really bother me as much to be honest, LAOTP was just a horrible and regrettable experience all around, and the others are more not liking how they do business more than anything being wrong with the games themselves. A couple of them, like the Midnight ones, at least took some degree of effort.

And I agree with you on small fast games being worth a try, it's just my opinion that there are some better ones out there than what they have to offer.

Because Mayo is three years old now as opposed to the crap Ratalaika Games has shoved out that offer quicker, easier platinum trophies.

A lot of people now forget that Mayo brought a lot of stench in the trophy hunting community because of the easy trophies. Mayo was amusing, but I certainly wouldn't buy it again since I dropped the concept of playing easy shit for trophies two years ago.

my name is mayo 2

I would love to remove these games from my list since I only got these because of trophies and I changed my mindset on how I go after trophies. I decided to only go for plats or 100% on gams that I enjoy or if they look like fun but not for just an easy platinum. I may end up hiding them at some point but who knows :)

In my case it was the indie game Claire. I thought it was something like a great Lone Survivor. I got such an impression after the short trailer and pictures from the Claire game. Unfortunately, in my opinion it was a game without an idea. It was unnecessarily prolonged by boring wandering in the corridors. I made Platinum but decided to hide it.

@AFRisingMetal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - I have no desire to put myself through 500 stupid VR missions again. Nope, I'm good.”

I hope that whoever made the trophy list decisions in MGS2 will find a special place... in hell!!!

@Fr_0ztFallout 4: garbage game.”

So true. In this case, Platinum is a symbol of patience. How boring it was!

Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Assassins Creed Revelations (PS3 versions) - Same as with above. Enjoyed both games with Ezio Auditore. But had I waited, wouldn't of bothered with the original releases and just settled with the PS4 remasters. Reason being? No annoying online trophies.

I just completed the online trophies for Revelations. The online trophies were easy if boosting although radoms would just join in matches that were DLC maps at times.

In terms of a game I regret doing, it was Enemy Front, not because of the gindy online because I was fine with that compared to the actual game. It's terrible. The story is bad although it has promise, the protagonist is a dick (I forgot his name due to the forgettable nature of generic FPS games), the game looks turd, the AI is very dumb, gunplay is bad, and the game is very very boring. Also the multiplayer is completely dead.

I'm stuck on Brotherhood. I heard you can do all the online in five or six hours, but you need six people to coordinate. Not exactly easy to do especially with a game this old on the PS3.

Haha - you made the same mistake I did with that one!

I played Claire for exactly the same reason, and was equally bored by the lack of scares, narrative hooks, or point ?

Honestly I regret nothing.

If I HAD to pick something, I'd maybe pick Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms since it locked down my console for the month or so it took to earn the platinum, but instead I just played PS3 games so it wasn't that disruptive to my gaming.

Amnesia: Memories was also a terrible VN, but with auto-skip dialogue I could just let the story run its course without paying attention so that platinum wasn't too bad either.

I love horror indies, but the store recommended quite a few that I bought and hated. Unfortunately, the plat/comp percentages were super high as well so they ruined my stats. The Mooseman, Red Bow, My Big Sister, etc. I wish I never played them at all

I have some trophy whore games I wish we could dump / delete... I would gladly take a hit in ranking.. I have been trying to play better, if that makes any sense
