Wrong account being flagged as merged.

I changed my ID a few months ago and didn’t know about the steps outlined in the sticky post here. I tried following them by syncing my new and old account names, however the system here has it completely backwards.

 

It says my NEW account has been merged due to a name change and it has my OLD account as the active one. Also, when logged in to my old account it shows no trophies, but it does have my profile icon correct, which I changed the same time I changed my name. 

 

How the heck do I fix this??

Have you earned a new trophy on your new account name, then synced with PSN, then came back to the site, type in your new account name on the front page and select Update?

Yes, I earned a new trophy a few minutes before I did all this. That’s what prompted me to check it in the first place.

You'll need to earn another new trophy, sync it to PSN, then update your profile here. It may say there's a 24 hour waiting period to merge accounts properly but after it's all said and done it should work properly
