I've played The Council almost a year ago, and although the game starts off with an interesting premise, by the fifth (and final) episode it all devolves into supernatural drivel. It's such a shame, because the story had a lot of potential, and they wasted it on a couple of really out-of-place plot twists. It's mostly that last episode which ruined it for me, personally. Almost as if they couldn't find a way to wrap up the story in a credible fashion. If you can ever get hold of the entire game at a very reasonable discount: by all means, try it out. However this offer only appears in the PSN if you are not subscribed at the moment and only in Germany and the UK. Weirdly enough Sony did not promote that at all and I just stumbled over an article covering that offer. Since my subscription ran out like month ago that was perfect. The news was also just put out 1 day ago. The site I first read it on was actually unsure where this applies, since Sony does not promote it - and that is the weird part.
