I'm not gonna do donuts anymore. Had it running for four hours yesterday and I only got 90km added. Better to drive 50 rounds on the oval track. Takes around 30 minutes and you get about 200km.
I'm drving the Porsche 917/30

how do i select this oval track?

It is under Indianapolis. You can select Oval track as a variant of that course

And you should play in free play offcourse.

Finished the career, season 1 and half of season 2. Seen they'd put up the stats so checked my progress.......4002 miles!!. For Fuck's sake, there's no fucking way I'm sitting there for another 20,000 miles going round in circles. This trophy should have a bloody health/sanity warning attached to it!.

If I wish to get this, I need to do the equivalent of 45 Indy 500's on top of my current distance.

This is a real dick head of a trophy. I got the pass so I could get the dlc trophies that are coming, and I'll likely do the 24,000 miles, bit I certainly won't be buying any more Codemasters games. Grid isn't even good, it's the exact same thing from start to finish.

They really should patch this damned trophy, cut in a half perhaps. Do everything in the game + dlcs and you're still under 10% of the trophy progress is a Baaaaad joke.

Now level 52, done 1600 km. After 4 days. The hypercars do the oval (4.2)km under 45s. 45s x 99 laps= 4455 s or 75 min. for 415.8 km. Its a grind, reminds me of my cod ghost excintion grind for the double class. 1000 teeth at about 13 teeth each 45 min. after having everything from the armory. ( not a trophy ).

Maybe a bit pointless now that there's a tracker, but I thought while doing the new Season 3 Career Events, that I'd keep track and add it to the list. I also realised that I never did post about the Main Game's Career Events! As a few months ago I did in fact go back and keep track of them all! So here is all the information together:

Main Game Career

Touring Tier = 222.64 miles.

Stock Tier = 215.31 miles.

Tuner Tier = 183.42 miles.

GT Tier = 294.61 miles.

Fernando Alonso Tier = 200.07 miles.

Invitational Tier = 210.11 miles.

Grid World Series = 137.36 miles.

Grand Total = 1,463.52 miles.

Season 1

Street Tier = 258.79 miles.

Pro Racing Tier = 335.40 miles.

Super Hatches Series = 36.17 miles.

Grand Total = 630.36 miles.

Season 2

Classic Tier = 277.90 miles.

Modern Tier = 303.72 miles.

Track Day GT Series = 50.36 miles.

Grand Total = 631.98 miles.

Season 3

Invitational Favourites Tier = 334.38 miles.

Track Day Tier = 312.32 miles.

Track Day Hypercar Series = 54.74 miles.

Grand Total = 701.44 miles.

Season 1, 2 & 3 Grand Total = 1,963.78 miles.

All Seasons + Main Game Career Events Grand Total = 3,427.30 miles.

And literally after doing all of the game as to offer (minus multiplayer) your only just over 10 percent the way there.

Absolutly rediculous trophy

Hey guys,

just want to let you know there is a method to do this without any own effort. With Season three, try to get the Bugatti Veyron. Fix the R2 bumper, automatic Transmission, Indianapolis Oval Circuit and let him drive, because of the weight no wheelspin and he is always driving in line. So he does the 99 laps in around 140-150 Minutes instead of driving the Porsche for yourself with 99 laps in 1 Hour. I just had one DNF till now with this method. I let this drive over night or when i am watching movies. Had About 2000 miles added since Friday.

Hope this helps you guys.

Thanks. I tried a couple of laps with the Veyron and it does seem to work. Finally a good afk method. I'll alternate doing this and driving the Porsche every now and then. Almost halfway :)

I said it lol

P. S.

Can anyone try it and give

1 hour equals to... Meters with that method

To have some perspective

I just finished playing every event in the Season 03 DLC, you know, to make my money worth it, so now I'm trying the Bugatti Veyron method, and I gotta say, it's working so far! The lap time is around 86 second per lap, which means it should take around 142 minutes to finish a 99 laps race at Indianapolis. A small price to pay but this method came dowm from heaven! Sadly I'm only 5.6 thousand km to get the trophy, but still, better than having to play it.

After 1 hour afk with the Veyron i'm at the start of lap 42, so it's around 167 km each hour with this method.

Compared to the ~400 km each hour when using the Porsche. Still, this is a great alternative to rack up km/miles without any effort

So 239 hours to get the trophy

10 complete days without turning it off

It is a passive method, so u can use your time for more important Things instead of driving circles for 60+ Hours.

There is a way to track your distance. Go to player profile > edit driver > statistics

Brilliant advice thankyou. It works but is it normal for the car to go 75 mph going round corners or is that why it takes longer

Also im currious why you got a dnf on one of your attempts
