I've done that, plenty of times, but the trophy just won't pop. Am I missing something? I resolve battles manually, automatically, nothing. Anyone who has this, any tips? It's the one thing I need for the plat other than 20 plans. edit: So, after thinking outside the box, I got the trophy to pop. I started a new game as the Date (Tanemune, I think. The old looking guy) then started a war on an unallied clan. Borrowed a base from the Ashina, then used that officer in a battle with my own forces. Popped once I won the battle. So if you're having trouble with this, I suggest borrowing a base and using that guy in a battle (you ultimately win) and see if that works.
