My suggestion would be to farm and soft reset for Flawless luck runes as they greatly augment your attack, have a shield and focus on poise and defense, I'm also trying a Faith build on another psn account and I'm enjoying the flame staff. By the way, since the OP is dead, anybody mi ds if I butt in? I haven't done much trophy hunting lately, let alone ultra rare stuff, let's see: Dragonball Fighter z (91%, yeah, maybe not this year haha) Grand Theft Auto V (68% base game, all online done) Devil May Cry 5 (50%) Just Cause 3 100% (92%) Shadow Warrior 1 (37%) Shadow Warrior 2 (0%) Kingdom Come Deliverance (0%) Mortal Kombat 9 (87%, it's TECHNICALLY in the bag like DBFZ, but it does piss me off that they removed the game from the ps store, now I need to buy another plus subscription, and a long one, as my kung fu is stronger will take me ages.) Wolfenstein (0%, hahahahaha) Titan Souls (0%, it's more personal as a irl friend managed to snag it, so I should too, it's a question of pride, you know, oh damn it, why don't you pick easy games) Dragon Quest Heroes 2 (0%) Grid 2019 (0%) Prototype (0%) Days Gone 100% run (0%) Batman Arkham Knight 100% run (0%, but the game has what, more than 100 trophies? I cannot believe more than 5% have everything) Games on another account (all needs to be 100%), uhhh, bonus round I guess?: Just cause 3 (46%) Lords of the Fallen (50%) Devil may Cry 4 (27%) That's about it, let's see how many games I comp- nay, start, as most of them are in the backlog, I'll take it slow as my absence "zoned" me out of a trophy hunter mindset. Sure thing, you can join no problem, nobody will mind. In absence of the OP I will supervise the event (self-appointed, doubt anyone minds ). Best of luck on MK, that's the one I am working on as well, My Kung Fu is Stronger can go Tiger Claw itself!
Popular Post Cassylvania
I don't deserve the Hollow Knight platinum because I'm a dirty, dirty whore, but I will be the only person here with the patience to complete Two Point Hospital! I consider that a win. FINISHED GAMES The Flame in the Flood (1.93%) Little Nightmares (3.42%) Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (1.08%) Arkham City (2.60%) Minecraft (0.16%) Kingdom Come: Deliverance (2.04%) Cities: Skylines (0.09%) Two Point Hospital (3.88%) And thank you, Cities: Skylines, for coming to PS+ and absolutely tanking your rarity percentage.
Popular Post BrandedBerserk
Kromaia (0.94%) Score: 5.5/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Time: 30 Hours Fourth game completed. This wasn’t on my list but I decided to start something short over the weekend so here it is. When I first started this game, I didn’t like it at all nor did I understand what the fuck it was actually about but after a level or two you start to get it and realize it’s just the colors that make shit seem weird. It’s decent at best so I couldn’t recommend it and the platinum is a rather tedious affair despite being short. To beat this game you need to go through each of the four levels four times which doesn’t seem bad until you realize there’s a trophy for new game ++++, so that means you will need to play the same levels, doing the exact same thing a total of sixty four times. Meh. Small update and a few changes to my list of games. I’ve been chipping away at Dariusburst ever since I finished xcom 2, so far I’m only 50 missions into cs mode and halfway through the boss checklist. It’s great and has held my attention longer than any other shmup has so that’s a good sign. My only gripe so far is that cs mode feels so unnecessarily long and padded out. On a side note, some of these bosses are fucking nuts. If Gigantic bite, Violent ruler or a couple other of these variants were part of the quz run, I probably wouldn’t bother with this platinum at all. I’ll be adding Nuclear throne, Polybius and Max Payne 3 to my list. Will also be removing i hate running backwards for now. Completed: - Vermintide 2 - Don’t Starve - Xcom 2 - Kromaia List: - Nuclear Throne - Polybius - Max Payne 3 - Dariusburst - Wolfenstein 2 - Strafe - Stardew valley - Death road to Canada - Unravel 2 Edited May 16, 2020 by BrandedBerserk

Oh man, if Gigantic Bite and/or Violent Ruler were part of the QUZ run, I can see the platinum reaching Necrodancer status when it comes to difficulty. But yeah, I agree with CS mode being way too long. If they cut the amount of stages to about half or a little more than half, then it wouldn't feel so much of a grind, or maybe not even at all. It's great you're enjoying it, good luck on the rest of your path to platinum
Vergil
Gigantic Bite no damage is probably not possible. It shoots too much and all over the screen. @BrandedBerserk Yeah i felt the same about CS mode. Over 200 was a bit too much. Ive personally been slacking. Haven't practiced it at all. And Bleed 2 gave me more trouble than i expected. Very hard is pain in the ass. Way more rng than Bleed

It's great you're enjoying it, good luck on the rest of your path to platinum It feels even longer because im currently working nearly 50 hours a week so yeah.. this will take me quite awhile. Quz run will be a great challenge no doubt but I’m thankful we got bosses that are more doable. I do a decent job with those bosses already on cs mode so with some more practice I’m sure I could pull it off even as a shmup noob but then again I’m using that one overpowered ship so who knows. One thing I have trouble with is the burst counter timing. Do I go into burst on the third beep or second one? I usually attempt to burst counter just to end up getting hit and failing. I’m referring to the other ships by the way as you’d have to be handicap or something to fail burst with murakumo. 27 minutes ago, Arcesius said: Bleed 1 and 2 are currently on sale for like 5 bucks.. are they worth picking up? I’d say they’re definitely worth it especially at that price but be wary, bleed 2 is no 7/10 and even the first one is very difficult. Don’t have the plat for either so one can say my opinion is invalid but from what I played they both seemed to be at least in the 9/10 ballpark. Oh and that 10-15 hours time estimate is a joke too. Evil_Joker88
It's been a while but i have made some progress in the UR category albeit not in many games i said i would Two new entries marked as completed with Tower of Guns being the better of the two. Run & Gun Shooter was ok, sometimes a bit weird with where hidden rooms were or how to jump from low floor to a higher floor with some boosters... Drawful 2 on the other hand was just boring as i had to maintain almost 20 player on my computer to draw something and then decide who made the best image. What a surprise that it was always Player 1 i didn't understand when to vote who made the best drawing so i had to play 3 times with 20 players but it's only once needed if you know what to do. Then i repeated more games with just 3 players and while i sat on my desk i didn't watch the TV at all. At least that gave me some time to think about did i get at at every hour of the day? The answer is yes Besides that very good news for R.U.S.E. as i made it to 49/51 trophies and all i have left is grind from player lv 65 to 100. Why those exist is beyond me. I didn't see any difference at all. But i'm really happy i made it through the campaign on hard difficulty. That kept me nervous for quite a while. The only thing keeping me from the for a while. The difficulty in each mission was medium mostly so i didn't have to reload great parts of most missions but especially mission 5, 10 and 23 had to be repeated at least 3 times each until i made it through. And in these plus 2, 3 more maps i watched someone playing and i copied his/her actions as best i could. I didn't like the game at first but my mind changed a lot now. RTS on console isn't an easy thing but the presentation of the story (you are an US officer fighting in WW2) is entertaining and with a twist i didn't see at all. When we got Dirt Rally 2.0 i decided i'll start that right away and i'm happy with it. Feels really cool driving through the different locations like Greece, New Zealand, USA, Argentina. Some tight corners meant heavy damage on my car and my god i love how detailed visual and technical the damage is. I'm doing a few races every few days so i'll be slowly but constantly going for this only the base game though but i'm certain i'll buy the dlc later sometime. But some of the dlc trophies are really hard Late in March i teamed up with 2 friends and jumped into Killing Floor 2 which is a FPS that doesn't feel very good as it has very limited variety. The maps aren't the problem but the enemy design and especially the bosses. And it's an arena shooter, nothing except xp carries over between battles. Story is simple, some people doing illegal experiments on humans. At least most trophies were just collectibles and those were hidden but we found them all after a few tries Last addition to the list is EA Sports UFC 2 which i borrowed from a friend as i thought it'd be an easy UR but nope. Without training it was pure luck i won a fight with a KO Definitely need some more practice. Especially in the Takedown category, escaping is easy but i can't use it to take down an enemy. I just don't understand what i have to press when exactly but as i said Practice Mode here i come Little Progress in Ni No Kuni II as i passed 20 of 30 arenas of DLC 3 with a S rank but going further is difficult. I won arena 20 on first attempt within 5 Min which is super (you have 12 Min for S rank) and then arena 21 i didn't survive at all. I just two continues at the last boss but no hope at all, he crushed me easily Unravel 2 1.98%. Personal Progress: 12th Nov 19 Worms Battlegrounds 0.46%. The third beep, although the timing is pretty tight here too. I'd say somewhere around less than a second right after you hear the third beep is when you should press the burst button. There is the cut-in method too where you don't have to go off the beep timing, but instead "cut-in" to the enemy's burst when it's already fired. I never got this method down myself, but that's one you might find easier if you can manage to get the timing down for that.

Lets see how far can come with the first 5 Games, maybe i add a few more Games later then to the Bonusround. The progress of all of you is very inspiring, it's a lot of fun reading everything and I've already added one or two of your games to my wish list. Greetings from GermanysynergY Next Update, from my side, Wolfenstein is also done now. 3/5 Games finished. I also finished Call of duty Black Ops 1 for the Bonusround. I'll boost Street Fighter 4's multiplayer now finally. If anyone can give me some tips on how I can most efficiently boost this, please send me a message. Well, I see you have the PS3 version of the game so it shouldn't be too hard to do the multiplayer. Your biggest grind would be playing 500 online battles and winning 100 online battles so lobby it is. Set your matches to 1 round and 30 seconds just for max efficiency. The only one where you need to do some tweaking is fighting 10 opponents via fight request : you need to play arcade as your primary account and turn your fight requests ON(set arcade to very easy and 5 rounds just in case) Search your main with your secondary PS3., you should get a "new fighter enters the ring " message. Win or lose 10 times and you should get that one. The only nasty part is that there takes a while to re-enter the lobby. The GOOD part is...you don't have to upgrade all your characters to C rank like in Super Street Fighter IV. That one was nightmare to grind . ALSO Wow one trophy left for Blur and it's the 4 split screen one! Better find 4 peripherals fast !! Edited May 17, 2020 by Copanele

Jiano_Vera
Update: Took a quick break from Wolf II to play some RIGS! Furi - Rarity 1.55% , 0% completed This week has been eventful, improved my percentages, finished Blur which is my 10th UR since I entered this event and added a new bastard into the list. I will describe below: Blur - My first racing game on a playstation. Thankfully I played and completed 5 Need For Speed games (Hot Pursuit 2 the old one, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted and Carbon) and Re-Volt - a nice racing game with toy cars that use various weapons to fight. Blur is a nice mix of the two, combining real car arcade racing like NFS and various weaponries like Re-Volt. Game was super tough, multiplayer is brutal even with boosting and single player took a long time to complete. But still it's finally done, really loved the game, I would recommend it but I am not sure how long will the servers stay alive (plus some trophies are bugged so...kinda weird). Dragon Ball FighterZ - everybody seems to be playing this one so I said why not? Especially since now they were giving up 5 mil zeni (the grinding for zeni is the real reason this plat is UR), it's high time I started this one too. I will TRY to get the online trophy legit but if not...I will consider boosting. Street Fighter 5 still haunts me to this day regarding online, I don't wish to repeat the experience. I have high hopes however - I consider myself to be pretty decent at Guilty Gear so this one should in theory be the same (except assists). We shall see. USFIV/SF5/Darkstalkers/Injustice - cleaned up some misc trophies, nothing worth of mentioning. Just slowly crawling towards the platinum. So close yet so far...I managed to do a combo trial in Darkstalkers, man that game is old man Street Fighter, same bullshit timing requirements. Mortal Kombat - Oh god this piece of crap. My Kung Fu is Stronger must be the most ass trophy I ever had the displeasure of pursuing. SO MUCH GRINDING, IT'S INSANE! All I have left is to finish 100 X-Rays for 21 more characters but...it is SO BORING! It will take me quite a while and I won't rush anymore. Screw this game, I can't wait to delete it. That's it for this update. Next UR will probably be either MK or SF5 ,depending on which one shows up first. I really can't stand grinding... Best of luck everyone else!

Furi - Rarity 1.55% , 0% completed Dragon Ball FighterZ : This might be my fastest and easiest UR platinum (thanks to the special event that kept giving Zeni). I...really wanted to love this fighting game. As a concept, it has sick graphics, good references, an awesome roster and is faithful to the series. However...I felt no spice towards it. Street Fighter has the frustrating but tight frame gimmicks. Mortal Kombat has those sick combos that make you feel that you really are breaking some bones. Skullgirls has some unique awesome artstyle. In comparison, DBFZ felt like a slice of white bread : it could satisfy your hunger but it has no soul to it. I got bored of throwing kamehamehas after 3 matches, Goku is just as braindead as in the series and the rest of the cast isn't any wiser. Most combos resort to button mashing (yeah I know that there are intricacies but they are so dumb I didn't even bother trying ) and half the cast plays the same. There are also 11 Gokus in this game. Yep...onto the next one. I hope I will get Mortal Kombat already, fucking game is murdering me.
Popular Post zajac9999
Randomly decided to go back to BattleFantasia and was able to finish up the final few trophies in a couple of days. After about the first hour of playing I honestly thought "You want me to WHAT?" wasn't gonna be too bad as I seemed to have decent timing for the parry. The issue however, ended up being getting trolled and poked on wake up etc by the AI. I ended up doing that parry successfully at least 20 times and wasted a good chunk of time. Regardless, this is a game that has been on my list for a long time (over 6 years) and it felt really good to finally clean it up. I've also earned a few more trophies in EDF4.1 to go from 11% to 25% in that. Current progress: VVVVVV, 0.28% - 90% completed Cloudberry Kingdom, 0.10% - 90% completed Nuclear Throne, 0.43% - 50% completed Badland, 0.03% - 43% completed Mortal Kombat, 0.62% - 100% completed Dead or Alive 5, 0.51% - 91% completed BattleFantasia, 0.61% - 100% completed Trials Fusion, 0.11% - 84% completed Retro/Grade, 0.34% - 80% completed The Guided Fate Paradox, 1.77% - 62% completed Xcom: Enemy Unknown, 0.95% - 100% completed (Base game only, dlc delisted) EDF 4.1, 0.88% - 25% completed Hard Corps Uprising, 0.45% - 0% completed

ladynadiad
1. Omega Quintet - 2.85% 2. Tales of Symphonia - 2.71% (10%) 3. MeiQ - 4.91% 4. Dark Cloud 2 - 3.91% (0%) 5. Sparkle 2 (PS4) - 3.42% (0%) 6. Akiba's Beat (NA) - 4.98% Looks like I totally called it for Akiba's Beat going down to UR within about a month of me getting the plat. Adding that since it is now UR and it was completed during this challenge. The game definitely deserves the UR. Also am slowly chipping away at the massively long plat that is Tales of Symphonia and got a couple more trophies in it.

Catherine - Rarity 1.29%, 1% completed 32. Furi - Rarity 1.55% , 0% completed One thing before I start : THANK GOD I COMPLETED ONLINE MODE! Thanks to my girlfriend leaving out of town with work, I decided to just order myself a big fat pizza and go farm KOTH respect points (because that's what responsible adults do, apart from doing dishes). Turns out that it was a great decision from my part, because one month later the servers went down forever. Dodged a bullet there wow. ANYWAY Mortal Kombat. The infamous Netherrealm beast took A LOT of work but finally I got the platinum for the darn thing (and it's under 1% too!). I basically had to do everything in this game : complete a buttload of towers, all the 300 levels in that crazy megatower, secret fights, all arcade modes....this game gave me no breaks. Online was atrocious, farming for Respect points was the least amount of fun I ever had in a videogame. But everything paled in comparison to My Kung Fu is Stronger : 28 characters , 24 hours , 150 x rays, 100 fatalities and 10.000 pints of blood spilled with each. THAT WAS HORRIBLE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO AFTER THAT CRAP! Even with the in-game cheat codes, the grind was insane. But in the end, another one in the bag! Finally could delete it from my PS3 and let the poor console rest. Onto the next one! SPOILER: Next one is going to be Street Fighter 5 for sure
Popular Post Arcesius
I'm super stoked to report that I tamed Trials Fusion! Ongoing games: Pier Solar and the Great Architects (88%) Crypt of the NecroDancer (66%) Divinity: Original Sin 2 (5%) Finished games: Death's Gambit - 4.77% Jotun (EU) - 2.27% Darkest Dungeon - 1.89% / 0.64% WipEout: Omega Collection - 1.71% Lumo - 0.69% Superhot VR - 0.61% Trials Fusion - 0.10 % Trials Fusion I finished the game yesterday, Top Roach was the last challenge I needed, and I can't stress enough how happy I am that I cleared it... Fantastic but very challenging game that I will continue playing even after getting 100%! I already own Trials Rising, so that one will also be a game I'll complete for this event at some point soon Getting this one done also gave me the motivation to return to Pier Solar. I will slowly grind the Minigame I have left, while trying to not get fed-up with it. Crypt of the NecroDancer To make real progress in this game one would need to play 2h/day at least. I barely have 2h/day overall, so that's just not a possibility. Still, I slowly chip away at this beast when I find the time, it just takes a long time for me to make progress... But still, I finished the DLC except two trophies involving Aria, since I haven't mastered her yet. The hardest DLC trophy so far was without a doubt a Nocturna sub-15 minute clear. I barely made it (14:57 ?) I have now deleted the DLC and went back to practicing Aria. I unlocked her final boss for practice and will now start doing runs. Divinity: Original Sin 2 This is a game I'm playing in online coop. The goal was to do a blind playthrough on classic difficulty and then clean everything up in Honour mode using a guide. But it so happens that the non-host doesn't unlock all trophies... I did get a couple of story-related trophies, but not all.. it seems arbitrary. ? What we have now decided is that we would continue our blind playthrough, but then would do Honour mode on our own to avoid a third playthrough for clean-up due to trophies not popping. If you are into isometric RPGs or like P&P such as Dungeons and Dragons, this is a must-play...
