Two new games completed since my last update. Action Henk, a really fun but weird-looking indie game, and Trials Rising. The latter felt way easier than Fusion, but I'm certain that a newcomer to the Trials series would have tremendous trouble with it. Still, from the two, Rising is the one I'd recommend to a newcomer

And that makes 10 completed games! I would not have thought that I would complete as many, and we barely have August...  I will focus on the Nioh 2 DLC next though, while grinding some Injustice on the side. Nex Machina will probably be my next completed game.

I haven't had much time to game lately compared to before, but I'm still working on as much of the games that I can for this event. I did start 3 new UR games (and hopefully I can stop adding more, or at least finish more than what I add ) and finally finished another one since my last update:

Didn't take into consideration how limited my hard drive space was on my PS4's when making the plan to finish up all the online portion of my games first, so I'll have to hold off on both Black Ops and Dead by Daylight until I can finish up more of my installed games. I could probably get Trackmania Turbo's online portion done sooner though since the game's file size isn't that big, and being only 2 simple trophies.

 

Dying Light was a fun experience. Nice first-person parkour gameplay with a mixture of both close quarters and long range combat. I love the "apocalyptic undead" setting so I already knew I was gonna like this. It's even more fun when you partner up with a random who drop OP weapons early on in your game. The story was ok even though I was hoping for something that would grasp me better. Some of the characters were memorable, most notably Kyle and Jade, and to a lesser extent Rahim, Dr. Zere, Rais and Troy. The online wasn't too bad either, except the 'Together till the end' trophy that requires being the last man standing after working together with another player(s) battling through numerous waves of enemies and parkour tests. The trophy glitched twice on me before it finally popped at the end of a third successful run, with each run taking anywhere on from 18-25 min on average. One of my coop partners had to do it about 5 or 6 times before it finally popped for him. So yeah, caution for anyone going for the 100% for Dying Light. That ending to its DLC "The Following" though...let's just say that the decision you have to make at the end was as fucked up as the decision you had to make at the end of Life is Strange...but I totally appreciate games that confront your beliefs/philosophies to make hard decisions like this. Looking forward to Dying Light 2 when that comes out.

 

And yes I've also began the infamous Necrodancer...and no doubt it's one of the hardest games I've yet to experience alongside Superbeat Xonic, but at the same time it is very unique and fun too. Never played a rhythm game quite like it and am sure glad to have experienced it. Not sure how far I'll be able to get with this game, but I'll be taking my time with it though.

 

Currently switching between The Division and another offline (or finished online) game, whether it's one on my list or not, since The Division eats up all my hotspot data pretty quickly. I plan to get GTAV's online done soon too. My 75th milestone is coming soon and I was debating whether to put another hard UR game for that milestone or TLoU2 (an amazing masterpiece despite all the negative shit it receives) and I've decided to go with the latter. I've never got the chance to assign the first TLoU to a milestone so I'll gladly do it with the sequel. ?

Got the platinum for CoD: Infinite Warfare already. We, our zombie team, just need to clean up the DLC trophies. I’ve got to say, that Easter Egg in the main game was pretty tough. Not that we wouldn’t have done it in the end but at times like this it’s nice to have Floriiss in your zombie team. He beat it, ‘we’ just joined his game and got the trophy.

Overwatch - not much progress here, cleaned up 2 more heroes. Without a coordinated team, this game is a straight up 10/10 in terms of difficulty. I really should find friends who play this game...

 

Batman Arkham City - finally got into this entry and...man they didn't lie, Arkham City is ultra dope. Loving it so far. I see now why it's an UR on PS3 though since getting all the DLCs on one account is a major pain.

 

NEW GAMES : Yakuza 0 / Kiwami/ Judgment - I blame lord @PooPooBlast for these entries, because man these games look so baked, I bet I will absolutely 100% love them. They look tough too (the only one that I had to deal with was Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, Dr Ken murdered my soul). I believe I can do them though, gotta love the karaoke songs.

( @PooPooBlast you better teach me how to play Mahjong or so help me god I will curse you. Best buddies ) 

 

NEW GAME : Batman Arkham Knight : Now...this one ain't an UR platinum. It barely has a 5.6% very rare trophy. However that 100% percentage is a whooping 0.77% (wtf!) and I keep hearing that Community Challenges are stupidly tough. So...I guess it counts here as well? If people disagree, let me know, I'll boot it off. Don't wanna add super duper easy games on this glorious list  your opinions matter!

 

REMOVED : Bonus Round section - I feel confident enough to do both Furi and Overwatch now. Focusing mostly on Overwatch since it's the last online game on my list (until GG Strive appears that is) but I believe it can be 100%ed. Not the easiest feat but hey, people could do it before!

 

Well, that's kinda it for now! Yes I added more lists, but it's not like I am in a rush or anything. Loving these games so far, even though I don't stand much of a chance for most of them.

The Arkham games are one of my favourite series ever. City was really enjoyable and to me knight was the best of them all and a perfect conclusion to the series imo. Sure people hated the batmobile but I personally loved it and batman finally felt complete. 

 

As for Yakuza, I'll be there friend in case you have any questions about some of the minigames or any outlandish screenshots you'll send me way :p. Looking forward to that!

I've decided to add a game my list and that's GTA V on PS3. Played through SP several years ago and with some years gap through MP and now it's time for the last trophies in SP. Got two easy troohies within the last days (police chase with all 3 characters and make a profit on the stock market). Judgment is the hardest RGG game I’ve done so far. It’s a lot harder than any Yakuza game imo.

 

The same can be said about CoD: Infinite Warfare. It has the hardest Zombie mode I’ve played so far. Luckily I had an awesome Zombie team.

 

Deleted Jotun from the list. I picked it up for €3 but that game just isn’t for me.

 

Next up probably CoD: Advanced Warfare.

Batman Arkham City : a really REALLY good game that is weirdly enough an Ultra Rare on PS3. Loved cruising around Arkham City, grappling wherever I could and finding more and more villains. Did not have as much fun with the Riddler trophies but oh well.

 

The biggest hurdle was dealing with them predator and combat challenges. Not sure why people complained about Catwoman (she is the only one with an ultra rare DLC), I personally found Nightwing to be way more difficult and demanding + abit bugged. Still, there were improvements over Arkham Asylum in this department. 

Will continue with Origins one of these days.

 

Overwatch :  from time to time I get one of them damn trophies. Completed Junkrat and Roadhog so far. I am amazed that I got all these ones legit, no outside help. But man are these truly situational.

 

That's it for now. Focusing on that Injustice pain in the ass then it's more PS3 games!

New game to add for the list so i'll throw in a little update as i have made some progress on two games already on the list

 

I've been busy with GTA V and unlocked a couple of trophies for getting collectibles, currently working on the 100% savefile with side activities like sea/land races, shooting range, watching a movie etc. Still some main missions left over but all in due time  

 

Besides that i bought the season pass for Dirt Rally 2.0 and finished a couple of races to get the trophies of dlc 1 to 3, nothing too difficult but the hard stuff i'll mostly avoid from dlc 4 and 5 so i doubt i'll ever reach all trophies...

 

And finally the wew game on the list is Trine 2 PS4 NA version. I played Trine 2 PS4 EU years ago and loved it. Even though it's a definitely a challenge to complete. I have a friend with whom i wanted to play together so i bought the NA version. Yesterday i tried to play with him but we couldn't connect. I think it's because i have the NA version and he has the EU version   i'm still gonna go through the game alone but it'd be much better to do it together...

 

Looks like i haven't updated Wet after the last playthrough i finished i decided to mark Sniper Elite 3 as completed because i don't know how much longer i have to wait until the last dlc i need to get all trophies is gonna get on sale but it has an UR so it's fine...

Good news from me and GTA V. I reached the official 100% progress in Singleplayer and i'm officially a Los Santos Legend   and Rockstar typical it was 6 years (and a half) in the making   ... when i started it up again 4 weeks ago it felt like a very long list of tasks to complete but i saw some new details of San Andreas which i didn't know before. It's really amazing how much stuff they put in this game. And i didn't really complete all of it - for example i just found 3 of 30 parts of a submarine which will lead to solving the mystery of a dead man of whom i never heard before but i guess i'll go for it now

 

Honestly a week ago i was thinking how much time do i need to reach 5 more before GTA but thanks to my Vita and some really easy games which i bought years ago and forgot for a while since it seemed impossible to play digital games on diffierent accounts until 2 weeks ago that obstacle was easy to pass now

Injustice Gods Among Us: A painful platinum overall, mainly because of the absurd lvl 100 grind and STAR Labs. Not really my favorite thing to do, I won't deny that I was glad to finally get rid of this game. But well it's a decent UR so sure, I'll take it. I'll make sure to pick better fighting games next time though  

 

BroForce : returned to this game by chance and so far it's quite a banger. Finished the campaign on Normal today (loved the ridiculous over the top final boss), steeling myself for Hard and Ironbro campaign. I still enjoy it more than Injustice though.

 

That's  it for now, will probably  return to Arkham Origins after finishing with Broforce. I should probably play  some relaxing games once in a while...

BroForce : Gather a team of action hero bros and go kick some terrorist ass! BroForce is one of the most fun games I played lately, just because of how absurd and amazing it can be. Everything can be destroyed and you have up to 32 mad bros to choose from (girls are also bros, everybody is a bro). Also a sub 1% completion (no platinum) so it's a quadruple win!

Ultra Street Fighter IV: Finally working on them trials. People weren't kidding, these are quite the serious headache to do. Did a couple of characters and got the hang of every single character in the roster,got a general idea of their functionality (except Dhalsim because he's WEIRD). All that's left...well..dexterity and speed of fingers. This will take a long while...

And here we go, another game completed Trine 2 is a fantastic 2D action platformer and i really enjoyed it even for the 2nd time on the PS4 due to this i knew the levels and made it through on highest difficulty without too much problems. Level 10, 12 and 17 needed still several tries but level 19 i got on 2nd attempt for which i needed like 10 tries the first time i played Trine 2 PS4... getting the collectibles was tedious though and i sometimes ran through a level twice without something new

This was the toughest nut to crack from the ultra rare list. The trials really gave me a run for my money with their weird and at times bullshit requirements. But honestly the satisfaction when everything was done was comparable to the DMC5 platinum.

Capcom, why you keep doing this to me? They can do magic when they want to.

 

Small break from toughie games for now (recovery time - my brain still computes frames at this moment). Gonna clean up some easy pieces from my backlog then back to the mashing machine.

My eyes are on Darkstalker Resurrection, I feel a strange urge to 100% this bad boy. And yes it's another Capcom game with trials.

So instead of playing anything that's already in my list i decided to add something additional i want to get the of Thief PS3 which i started over 5 years ago finished it yesterday on highest difficulty and started today on easy and have completed 6 of 8 missions again. I have to replay the missions at least one more time to get collectibles and complete challanges

Today I managed to obtain my 12th UR plat with Skate 3 (1.69%), which is now my rarest plat on PSNP.

 

I’m just really happy to have this one finished as when it was unobtainable for several years when the servers went down.

I don't know if i should i say i proudly say i'm a Man of Steal. THE True Master Thief. I looted and lifted thousands of objects in the last week It was a blast mostly. Gameplay-wise. Sneaking through all missions without attacking, without being noticed. Without upgrades even on highest dififculty But going through the main hub (called The City) with it's several cut parts? That was horrible. No ingame help as to where you have to change areas. You can replay all missions and there are also no hints where to start because you have to walk through the city and find a certain door to access a mission again. 40 hours played in 5 days says i was really determined won't show up here on psnp as my trophy timestamps say it 5 years 5 months to complete ... maybe if i ever start the ps4 version?!  

 

And now i have 10 UR finished although it does nags inside that two games are from last year but i don't know if i can finish 2 more. I do have a few ideas like Wet, Mirror's Edge (PS3), Puppeteer, EA Sports UFC 2 but i haven't sticked to any plan - does anybody remembers i said i'd play TLOU II? yeah exactly (but i did play like an hour more TLOU II before going into Thief so that's a plus )

I played Dishonored Challenges DLC and got a few trophies (7 of 10) but i feel i am at the end of my abilities. I know some training is needed to accomplish these challenges and the special actions which give trophies. I repeated the mission "Assassin's Run" over 8 hours to get the headshot only trophy. The succesful run took me 8 mins. Most of the times i failed by enemy 14 of 17 around 2 mins time. So i do know that it's not easy to complete. But the challenges are not just hard due to reaction but also highly luck dependend. Maybe with some more time i can get the My Hand Alone Trophy (kill all enemies in 12 waves of one combat challenge but they often kill themselves within seconds) but i don't see any chance for Daredevil (make 6 special jumps in one parcour challenge) nor for getting 3 stars in that parcour challenge.I hardly reached 10k points but i need 30k for 3 stars... i don't feel like playing the story dlcs to get one more trophy right now either. I have to complete the 2nd story dlc with 10k money and low chaos. Best approach is play both dlcs on low chaos to get the money but you have to loot 2/3 of what's possible. I got just 1/3 of possible loot in the very first dlc mission so i think that's not good enough in the long run...

Darkstalkers Resurrection - Completed Pyron's trial which gave me another trophy. This game is a spawn of hell but damn if I don't love its gameplay. Slowly getting better at it, but it will require a great deal of time to actually be able to do them all. The mummy (Anakris) seems by far the worst of them all, it's like an Egyptian Dhalsim or something.

 

Overwatch - 8 characters left : Genji, Reaper, Pharah, Torbjorn, Ana, Sombra, Sigma and Echo. I caved in and boosted a large majority of the characters, but I still manage to get some on my own ( McCree was a point of pride of me, cleaning up the enemy team with my Deadeye). A good game but I don't have the desire and passion to invest this much time, I don't love it THAT much. I should be done with this in the next boosting session.

(Really though, how the hell do you even do Doomfist's Cratered legit? You really need 100 points in luck for that)

 

The King of Fighters XIII - I decided to remove the games that I won't play in the nearby future (sorry Furi, Yakuza and the others ) and instead add one hell of a game : KoF 13. I already feel like it's one huge mistake  but there's no backing down now, especially since I started working on the online. Of course the big hurdle will be the trials but at least I don't have to do them all compared to that monster SSF4. I'll see if I will be up to the challenge. I do like the graphics though.
