After jotting down a number of lengthy & niche RPGs from my collection with UR platinums, I’d love to join as well ♫
 

I’ll come back to this topic with a tentative list some time later.

Love this thread topic idea you've formulated! Being a Ultra Rare Platinum Hunter myself, I feel the exact same way as you do. I still believe one day I can 100% my profile, but it is going to take me quite more time than intended due to college life :/ 

 

Anyways, my 10 Ultra Rare Platinums for 2020 I would like to obtain are hopefully these:

 

(The 10 picked are a mixture of games I have started and have yet to start)

 

1. King of Fighters XIII - 16%

2. Vanquish - 37%

3. Far Cry 2 - 85%

4. GRID Autosport 

5. F1 2010 

6. F1 2011 (PS3 Version)

7. Sonic All-Stars Transformed (VITA/PS3 Versions)

8. Evil Within (PS3 Version) - 11%

9. Tera (NA Version) (might have complete by the end of 2019  ) - 82%

10. Battlefield Bad Company - 98% 

 

If not, then as long as I have the ones with online trophies complete or perhaps just having the online trophies done, then I'll be in good standing.

This is a pretty ambitious event...a couple of these I may not be skilled enough for...but I'll give them a try!

Platinum achieved for LittleBigPlanet (3.26%).

 

Still haven't hit 100% yet but just have the MGS DLC left so maybe later this month.

I earned another trophy in VVVVVV recently, now I 'only' have no death mode left to do, lol. The time trials took me long enough.

Finally found the motivation to go back and finish this game off. As for my next game, I'll probably start working on Cubixx HD.

I'm going to start out my first update with a bang and announce that Trials Fusion is now 100% completed!!!  ? Out of all the games in my current list, this may be the most difficult one, trophy wise, but we'll see. I was thinking about making an earlier update when I had managed to achieve THE big kahuna, 'Is There Anything You Can't Do?' trophy, but decided to just make my update at the end of my Trials journey since I only had one more trophy left anyway. This is one of my hardest and most proud 100%'s that I have achieved so far due to a really challenging trophy list and I am glad to be a part of the Trials Fusion club of 100% achievers.

 

Here is a vid of my 'Top Roach' challenge successfully completed right before the 'Is There Anything You can't Do?' trophy popped (Really wish the PS4's internal DVR can record the actual trophy pop ?):

 

 

This took me several hours a day over the span of 5 days to get this one done. 'Top Roach' is the hardest challenge in this game, imo, due to the precision and timing of the jumps, angles and landings of your bike required to overcome the obstacles in this Extreme (the hardest kind of stage) stage...and without falling off your bike once. It looks like a simple task when you watch it, but the execution required is way, way harder than it looks.

 

Despite how frustrating (but very rewarding!) some of these challenges/trophies were, I've had a lot of fun with Trials Fusion. Even if not going for trophies, there is still a lot of fun and humor to experience in this game with its beautiful environments. There's even a Terminator 2 movie reference when going for the squirrel collectibles that I found hilarious.

 

It slipped my mind that Days Gone currently falls well under 5% when it comes to 100% completion and that I have this game incomplete still, so I'll go ahead and add this one to the list. I stated a list earlier that had my first 10, along with a backup list, but I'm gonna go ahead and just combine the two since we're not really "chained" down to a strict 10. Also, there's a good chance I'll want to prioritize other games that aren't on this list yet that I'm thinking about adding later. Here's my updated list:

Booted up Quantum Theory after a year and started making some progress on it. I have a feeling this will be tougher than a lot of people said it is but hoping it is not too bad.

I've been working on 100% of a few other games to get them uninstalled and off my mind.

 

I also worked on Hitman 2 a bit. Thing with this game, it's so good I forget about the trophies. I'm actually trying to 100% the game just for fun, figure out as many [Redacted] by myself, and get all the unlockables. I did Hitman 1 not too long ago but I mainly focused on escalations because only a handful were transferred to Hitman 2 legacy maps. Kept it feeling new, plus AI behaves somewhat differently between the two.

I'm currently trying to get SS Rank on both Ultra and Sprint mode in Tetris Effect, so if anyone has some useful tips to share I'd appreciate it ^^

 

 

 

Working on the same thing, though I just need sprint.  Are you doing ST stacking? It really helps efficiency for Ultra, requiring only 60ish lines in 3 minutes as opposed to over 100 for traditional back-to-back tetris strats.

Thanks! Yea, I figured ST stacking must be the most effienct way. Still need to practice that more. My primary focus is sprint tho. My time is under 1:13, aaaalmost there ?. It's really tough man, good luck!

I feel you I am in the High 1:18-1:19 Range.  I always inevitably misdrop something and get absolutely destroyed from trying to go fast. ?? We'll get there though! Good luck to you as well!

That looks even more interesting as at first glance it seems to be solo only? Ikaruga has local coop trophies, not a fan of that as it would be hard to find a decent coop partner...

Are invasions back? I thought i read a thread earlier that there hadnt been one on forever making the plat impossible

Sorry if I butt in with the answer but yes they are back after a long time of not being available. There's a thread " Invasions potentially ceased" that used to have updates with the invasion for the past weeks.

Yes it is. However it can be played in co-op too. Though the bosses are harder as well
