taywahhhh
I'm looking to do the speedrun exploit, I've uninstalled after my recent playthrough and then reinstalled without the patches, yet my game just constantly crashes and ejects the disc, usually can't even get past the start up screen. Is this happening to anyone else and is there any way past it?
Optinooby
This may help https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/739573-uncharted-4-a-thiefs-end/faqs/74150?page=2#WALKTHROUGH 2nd Playthrough Its a platinum speedrun guide I created a while back. You want the 2nd playthrough where we do crushing with cheats and under 6 hours. Of course, if you really want to use glitches, the above wont help but if you decide to or cant get the glitch working, it may come in handy. Unfortunately I cant comment on the glitch as I never used it. Edited October 28, 2019 by Optinooby

You'll know it's done when the disc stops spinning.

I'm pretty terrible at these kind of games usually, hence why I'm looking to use the exploit instead. Needs must ? 40 minutes ago, kanzenchaos said: Wait for the game to fully install before starting it, should take like 30~45 mins. You'll know it's done when the disc stops spinning. Ah that's probably why then, duh. Will wait for a bit before starting, thank you. Just presumed it was ready when it said that disc copying was complete and could start the application. taywahhhh
Managed to get it along with the Crushing trophy. Only problem is now that the only trophy I need for the plat is for using all the guns and my 'bonus' and 'encounter select' menus aren't appearing anymore. Suppose that's karma. ? Try checking your cloud saves. Besides, another playthrough won't be bad.

Glad it worked out for you. Maybe you should of disabled PS+ save autoupload beforehand lol Another playthrough shouldn't be a problem though, this game is really good.

Look at this, the save/statistic system is weird, but I had worked it out and try to explain where I could Saving The save system in this game is a bit odd and can affect your statistics so requires a mention. The game does autosave throughout the journey, but depending on the difficulty, it will autosave less or more frequently. The top save in the save list will always be the save that is automatically saved over when the game autosaves, remember this. You can manual save throughout the game, but take note that when you make a manual save, that save then becomes the top save and thus will be overwrited automatically when the game autosaves. The save you were just using before you made a manual save will become the second to top save in the list and in essence, this actually becomes your manual save because as I just said, the top save is always overwrited, this save won't be touched and will be left in the save state is was in when you made the manual save. Not to many, but there are a few points within the first playthrough where I will ask you to make a manual save. This is to prevent you replaying long sections if you fail particular Trophy requirements, loading a recent save can save a lot of time. But, whenever you load a save, that save becomes the top save so will be overwrited with autosaves, this will mean that to keep a save untouched, everytime you load a untouched save, you will have to make another manual save straight away. I know this is frustrating and may be a bit confusing, but it's just how the save system works here. In a attempt to make this more understandable, I will try to sum up the save process; The game will always autosave over the top slot Whenever you make a manual save, the manual save becomes the top save and the current save The save that you were just using before the manual save, becomes the 'untouched' save. Whenever you load the 'untouched' save or a save that is not the top one, it becomes the top save. So if you want to keep a save at this point in the game, you will have to make a new manual save everytime you load the 'untouched' save. This is so that the 'untouched' save remains 'untouched'. If in doubt and you want to keep a save at a certain point within a Chapter, just make a manual save everytime you load it! Statistics It's hard to say which is more frustrating, statistics or the save system, I guess the save system slightly triumphs here. If you reload a previous save, pretty obvious, but your statistics will reset to what they were at that point. You don't want to be reloading old saves to often unless I advise. There are cumulative Trophies so you want your statistics to keep increasing, not decreasing. Whenever you boot the game up, the game will load the statistics from the top save in your list, even if the statistics are worse than any saves below it. There are also times where the actual real count is completely different to the number shown in the statistics menu, for example, you may begin a new game, but the playtime will have carried over from the save below it, but the actual real hidden counter is 00:00. This is a bit hard to understand, but as long as you follow my instructions and don't mess around with saves to much, you shouldn't experience any problems here. The hidden statistics come from the profile save, but you can't see them and these don't seem to sync correctly with the statistics loaded from the top save which is the cause of the glitchy stats, I believe to be the cause anyway. The safest way is not to start any new games until you have completed the first playthrough in the game. This way statistics will always remain from the same save file and will not be forced to keep switching between different story save files everytime you load the game up. Same goes for the 2nd playthrough, once you get that far in the guide, stick to only the 2nd playthrough saves until you have finished that playthrough. At the least, the above should give you some understanding and maybe with the info, you can figure out a way to fix your game!
taywahhhh
Cheers guys. Started another playthrough, got to chapter 4, used the toy gun (even though I used it on the first playthrough for the trophy) and the all guns trophy popped so I've finally got the platinum. ?
