Death Stranding difficulty related trophy

I have a question about the game! I've read that the difficulty trophy is for completing the deliveries on Legend of Legends, which is only achieveable on Hard difficulty. I have also read that if you switch difficulty during your playthrough it does not affect the trophy. So my question is are the following okay to do without having to go through a second playthrough?

1. Starting the game on hard, doing deleveries on hard but switching on Normal if I have a hard time with a boss
2. Starting the game on normal and switching difficulty to Hard when I do deleveries

I have to wait a few days to get the game, so I don't know how difficulty switching works yet!

As far I’ve read, is best to keep Hard at all times and lower it on bosses.

You can do deliveries on Hard, switch to Easy for a fight, then back to Hard.
