When you reach the max amount of comrades, the ones at the bottom are replaced by the new players. If you want your camaraderie back you should play with the people that were removed from your list.

Maybe you erased the comrade. Play a mission with him/her and the camaraderie will come back.

I had huge problems with camaraderie disappearing. Like I did 3000 points worth of matches, saved the game, and yet the next day for some reason all of it just disappeared and had so many other occasions on top of that. Not sure what happened, but as someone who now has the trophy, I'd say try and do it all in one session. If you got PS Now as well as a copy of the game just get two devices on, play 400 deathmatches at 1 min (winning the match as opposed to waiting for match end will make trophy quicker), then pop goes your trophy (50 points x 400 matches = 20 000 Camaraderie). 

This took me about six hours to do on my own, but from what I hear if you invite more people you can apparently get more points. I'm just very anti-social and went for the bare minimum of two players. Vic Vos also unlocks right after the match that gets you to 20 000 points - there's no need to go to your profile and check how many points you're on.
