PlayStation Now December 2019 predictions

22 posts in this topic

Hey all, just thought I'd shoot the breeze and ask fellow owners of Playstation Now what you think the AAA games for the month will be, If any. My predictions are:

Ni no kuni 2

Tales of vesperia Definitive Edition

Resident evil 7

Just to name a couple. Thoughts?.

How do the new games to Playstation Now work? Are they on a schedule, limited in number?

They release them every month, some COULD be AAA but it's a toss up. They release 4-5 every month and they're up for a limited time (2 months is the average) because they're AAA newer games. Older games for like PS3 are up there indefinitely. For instance, for November they added Persona 5, Hollow Knight, and i can't place the other two.

Watch Dogs 2 (or perhaps the original) would be nice to get people in the mood for Watch Dogs Legion.

@djb5f that's a good prediction. They're getting more bold with their additions each month so i could see WD2 on the list.

No god, please not Ni no kuni. Why is Sony adding every game I bought recently to either plus or now ugh, at least it wouldn't be the complete edition so there's that...

Doubtful for Vesperia, Tales of is too niche, and right now they added important titles with the new update model, Resi7 I could definitely see them trying this either on plus or now, since it's part of the Hits with their lowered prices altogether.

@nrs1nrs1 Shenmue 1 & 2 would be killer!

@scemopagliaccioh you think so? I guess you're right, ToV is too niche but it'd still be killer lol i said RE7 because it's had enough time on the shelf and it'd be cool to see, even if i already own it in steelbook form lol just nice for others to get a taste.

tales of zestiria is on psnow so i doubt being too niche is something that would prevent vesperia from coming.

It is, yes, it was added alongside other more obscure titles than Tales of in the past, the new model with limited games though, is adding "giants" of games thus far

Where are you seeing Tales of Zestiria on psnow? I can't find it in the list

Edit - found it on the US version of PSnow. Any chance they move games from one region to another?

I'd guess GT Sport as user base is very important, and Street Fighter V to keep the competitive scene strong and encourage people to buy the extras.

I hope they add Castlevania Lords of Shadow 1+2 at some point. Bayonetta would be great too. Never got to play those games but would really like to.

Probably Persona Dancing, Paw Patrol on The Roll, NieR:Automata, ARK Survival Evolved, Detroit Become Human and Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. These games are going to be on PS Now + Detroit Become Human and Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice are both have the limited time.

Where did you get the 2 months average from? They've only been doing time limited games for the past two months and all of the time limited ones are available for 3 months.

It gives a time frame under each game when you select it, and on average from what I've seen it's between a 60-90 day limit.

I understand they've only been doing the AAA game limits for a couple months but from the few I've seen, yes it's between 2-3 months.
