FarSideOfSaturn
Fallout 4 for me. Not so much for the platinum, but the entire 100%. I popped "Power Play" from the Nuka-World DLC last so my final trophy popped as I enjoyed a fireworks show, couldn't have planned that any better if I'd tried. By some miracle I also managed to 100% the game using the same save file with which I started. My game was crumbling by the time it reached 300 hours, essential items glitching below the map and having to glitch myself through the ground to retrieve them, cars flying around, dead enemies not being dead, the oil texture that usually lies on the ground rising vertically and erupting right in my face, the screen on my pipboy and terminals distorting. I felt like finishing the game with my first save was the biggest achievement of all Special mentions. AC Odyssey after finally being able to put it down after seven months. The Ezio trilogy back to back...to back. Dark Souls Remastered after finally "getting gid". No Man's Sky 100% when I could finally stop screaming "AGHHHHHH" after I reached the centre in permadeath mode (I didn't use the taxi and made the journey myself). Tony Hawk's Pro Skater because it reminded me of being 14 again, then immediately made me remember I'm old and have shit reflexes these days, it felt good beating a game aimed at teens. The Talos Principle for that constant "ah, AH! I'm so smart!" feeling when the reality is I just moved stuff around until something worked, but it felt good at the time. I looked up some of my solutions and compared them to a guide and realized I'd gotten through a lot of the game by almost completely breaking levels. corkscrew17
I'll say my top 3 and the reasons for them! 1. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: This is genuinely the most satisfying platinum I own. I ended up finishing the platinum (and the online portion) 4 years after the game came out. So when I accidentally stumbled into an 8-player lobby and soon after, finally fought a 1st rank player, I was through the moon with excitement. I also made it trophy #3333 so that was fun lol 2. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: The Call of Duty I spent the most time with and the first time I genuinely felt like I could beat the hardest difficulty mode in a game (Veteran was tough but fun). The Spec Ops missions were brutal at first but once I got the hang of them, it felt great to finish 3. Infamous Second Son: Literally just because it was my first PS4 platinum and I did it within a week of getting my PS4. Good times.

TrophyChief
The Dead Space franchise of games. Love the series. Honestly, I find more satisfaction in 100% completing each game.
Popular Post Arcesius
I have been very happy with many of my platinums, but the most excited I think I've been with the following: Furi - This was the first somewhat challenging game I tackled, and it remains to date one of my favorite games on the PS4. Super Meat Boy - For obvious reasons. I started this game prepared to lose my 100% completion, but I really enjoyed my time with it. Seeing the platinum pop after Impossible Boy was really satisfying, and it is for those moments that I like putting in the effort that these types of games require. Hollow Knight - After many hours of practice for the fifth pantheon, after choking three times in a row on the same day at the last phase of Ultimate Radiance atop the pantheon, getting that last hit and achieving the plat felt fantastic. A gorgeous and incredible game that I will remember for a long time. I would like to say that I was equally excited when I completed Trackmania Turbo, but the truth is that that game was so incredibly long that finishing it felt more relieving than it did feel satisfying ? When I got my last STM, I put the controller down, lied down on the couch and stayed there for a couple of minutes, all my energy gone ?
AJ_Radio
Furi - Played this game constantly over a week's duration. Had my ass kicked on Furi and Furier difficulty, utilized the USB save trick to get S ranks on both difficulties. For what it's worth, this is an excellent indie title that will challenge you. Not exactly extremely difficult, but definitely a worthwhile game to have on your profile and on your cabinet. Velocity 2X - A mixture of 2-D platformer style and shmup. Had lots of fun with this game, got the 100 percent in just over three days. The DLC was more difficult than the base game, with the Dual Core pack forcing me to use a Vita to download the Vita version of the game in order to utilize touch teleport.
Popular Post MrGarland
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots 8 playthroughs, one of them being Big Boss run. That was ultimately the hardest part. Each Act was more or less difficult, with Act 3 being the worst. Not just for this run, but for the entire game. I'm talking about the section where you trail the resistance member. It's the worst part in the game and it was a nightmare on BB run. Why? On any other run, he takes the easiest path, no problem. But on that run, everything went wrong. For some reason, he takes a different path and it's much longer. Not only that, but it feels like it's just going nowhere. After a while, i had to figure out how make him take the easiest path. It took few tries, but eventually i succeeded. Then there's that goddamn motorcycle chase, which is the hardest part in that run, because of no-kill requirement. Even with lock-on aim enabled, it's still not easy. It's basically luck based. Took me some time, but i made it. At least there are checkpoints. Other than the final boss being another hard section, the rest of the game wasn't too difficult. After all that trouble, i made it to the end of the game and cleared that run in less that 4 hours. Hearing that victory song at the result screen was so satisfying. It should be mentioned that even though that run was frustrating at times, i still enjoyed it. It was a good challenge. Once that was done, only few more playthroughs remained and the platinum was mine. Killzone Shadow Fall Clearing the game on hard wasn't too bad, unless i count certain sections in Chapter 7 and 9. Those parts were pain in the ass. Multiplayer however, was rather annoying. Even when playing against bots, the grind was rather tedious, depending on what i was going to unlock/upgrade. I also did the DLCs as well, because why not? Nothing too troublesome, although the Elite mode was a tough one. The sections i mentioned were even more annoying since you have only three lives. However, i decided i wouldn't allow deaths which made things harder. This time, i only needed about 5-10 attempts before i made through them. Also, one thing about Elite mode. I happened to die near the end of Chapter 4. I failed to clear that chapter without dying many times and was starting to get tired of restarting, so i decided to finish the chapter. To my surprise, i still had all three lives when i returned to main menu. Maybe getting revived doesn't count? I don't know. Bloodborne I have no idea why i even bought that game, but i don't regret it either. The first few bosses took me some time to get used to the game, but after that, it wasn't too hard. That said, certain bosses and enemies pissed me off more than once. Anyway, i made it to the end and completed it. Great game, but don't really want to try this again. These three are the ones i'm most proud of. I have something major in store, but more about that if i am to complete it. Needless to say, it's going to be the hardest one. djb5f
Probably one of my sports game. NHL 14-17, Fight Night Round 4, Madden 25 (winning MUT Super Bowl), and NBA 2K16 all come to mind. And all << 1% rarity.
Joe Dubz
Flame Over I Am the God of Hellfire This one was so very satisfying for me! Basically required doing a full perfect run of the game, without letting any person or cat die. All this while still completing every side mission on the same go. The tricky part really was that the game was totally RNG with how the levels were laid out, so this was no easy task! No doubt my most proud one to this day.
Yuna4353
For me it is ether Detriot Become Human, or Yakuza 6 because those were the most time sinker, my other platinums were easy ones.
xAmaezingx
My top three picks are: Skyrim on PS4 only because I platted the game according to the site 5 days, 16 hours, and 52 minutes. Though I didn't work on the DLCs in full due to me getting burnt out. We Happy Few. The plat was real enjoyable to get but with the collectables being buggy and the ones that only appear on the T.V. made it real tedious. Though with all of that and the constant crashes, I really enjoyed the game. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School. Honestly I didn't find this game too terrible to platunim, cause for the ending collection from difficulty Easy-Hard (Hell if you use cloud storage and/or flash drive) you can save before getting said endings to shorten down how many playthoughs you need for the ending collection which is 50 playthoughs down to 20. But I really enjoyed the game that it wasn't that much of a chore for me. Mentions: The Sims 4 due to RNG for the Triple Play trophy and Red Faction due to Impossible difficulty towards the end and four playthoughs is needed but same as White Day, I enjoyed the game that it wasn't a chore.
Carttagos
Let's see, Rock Band 3 as you need all instruments, normal and pro, to get all trophies but I could do it because of some friends of mine lent me their pro instruments! Rock band The Beatles as this was a true challenge because of all the variations of each trophy, I really enjoyed this one. Destiny as I did the no death in a raid by myself without any help. Crota's raid solo and practising for 3 days. And for last, Resistance 2. The 10000 kills trophy was insane but really funny as it was a good multiplayer.
PondNewt
For me probably Grand Theft Auto V, Rayman Legends, Dead or Alive 6 and Need for Speed Payback would be my top ones.
DEI2EK
My most satisfying was probably Grand Kingdom, it was a fun game but i just wanted to make sure i got it done by the time of server closure. Too much RNG though, luckily i was blessed and didn't have too much bad luck with the rng. Second is probably tlou, it was a fun game and doing the final playthrough on grounded was one of the most difficult game experiences i've had tbh, and was so satisfying when i finished and popped all those collectible and difficulty trophies, and i'll probably stack the remaster soon
ONLINEGAMR360
Black Ops II, very grindy, multiple playthroughs, and very good. I enjoyed almost every second playing this game. Except destroying all the Hunter Killer drones on that roof. That was maddening. It was my last challenge before getting the Plat. Took about 50 attempts, but it was in the middle of the level. This time tho, Treyarch got rid of the "Restart Checkpoint" option in BOII. So it was maddening getting the challenges. 98% of them were easy AF to get. The "Hard" ones weren't really "hard". It's just that re-attempting them took forever because the checkpoints activated after like every 3 minutes. GTA San Andreas is my favorite game of all time. It was very satisfying having it in my collection. I'm going to Platinum it again on the PS3 version if I can find a physical copy. I don't wanna buy the digital version, that'd be a last resort if I can't find a physical copy soon. I had the Number 1 ranking for the Killing Floor 2 100% for about 2 maybe 3 days, but I got all the DLC trophies before getting the Level 25 trophy, which was my last trophy before the Plat. So you can infer from that, that that was also a likely top 25 Platinum time, maybe even top 15 at one point. I had tons of fun with KF2.

REAPER4536
Mine is Battlefield 3 since I wasn't boosting back in the days when I played it god mode like with around 100kills and sub 5 death on any conquest map or 4 K/D on Close Quarter Maps. Bullseye gave me trouble for some reason since noobs only played that game till a guy got me into trophy hunting who needed a partner for that trophy too @mikemoss89 . Thats why this one is the most satisfying platinum for me. If we go for hardest platinum then defiantly Shadow Warrior but its more finishing level 15 or 16? than beating the game. So when I got the platinum it was more like mhhh... yea I guess? Beating the level before that one on the other hand after ding over and over again was statysifing.
DnS_No_scope
Nuclear throne because the skeleton trophy, i was playing non stop for like a week getttin my ass kicked till i finally did it Fortnite: It was a pain to plat because all the grindy trophys took me like a year playing every day Slay the spire: This isn't hard but it became my favourite gamei even bought it again on steam just to play on the beta branch Nex machina: Loved this game even the arquitect give me nightmares lol
JaneAusten69
I'd say that mine would probably be Diablo III and Mortal Kombat. Both for the time commitment. MK took me nearly a decade to beat.
Popular Post yellowwindow7
Batman Arkham City screw the perfect freeflow 2.0 and whoever the asshole that design that trophy, I swear that trophy alone made me hate Rocksteady as a whole. when the platinum popped up it felt really good! never played Arkham City on my main account ever since. Serious Sam 3 I love this game so much, the online Co op is a wasteland which is needed for the online trophies and I was lucky to have this game as a plus free game which by the time I got it the online Co op was revived for about a month or so, despite that I gave up on one trophy required you to cut a boss head off with two other players there was this special day I played the game and found two players playing in the same boss level and we got this stupid trophy and boy it was a relief! Medieval Moves accidentally I was among the few people who got two move controllers before buying this game which helps me greatly on boosting the online multiplayer trophies that thankfully can be self boosted offline in two players mode with two move controller, I hate gimmick based trophies too but thankfully I still love on rail games. Dark Cloud 2 the platinum trophy for this game is not fun at all to unlock and I reached the end of the game and really wanted to earn the platinum so bad for two of my most favorite ps2 games DC 1 and 2 so I I return and start knocking the challenges one by one and done them all after I was about to quit 2 times then continue the story and the platinum popped up... this is the hardest Plat I ever got on the ps4... NEVER AGAIN! Ragnarok Odyssey Ace ( ps3 ) collecting all of the cards in the game is basically a strong luck based RNG, I played this game for a whole year and I don't know how many card left to pop the last trophy since there's no way to check which one is missing, I gave up and after another year I returned and replay the old high ranks missions ( that i already beaten like 7 to 10 times ) and after the loot check screen the platinum popped, I couldn't believe it back then making it the most annoying Ultra Rare Plat I ever achieved on the ps3. The Evil Within ( ps3 ) Akumu mode is Really BAD! especially when the main character take ages with a bazillion of frame for one animation just to light a matchstick. Dead Space 2 Hardcore run made me hate Visceral Games forever! I had to stay awake at night farming power nodes for a hour and a half then play the game carfully to reach halfway through and use my first save file and Issac is the fragilest video game hero I ever seen, I mean if someone throw a tomato at his face his head will violently explode and his limbs will fly all over the place, not to mention that once you die you have to watch all of the cinematics because visceral games don't know what the Skip Button is, I was one of the few people who didn't felt sad when EA shut them down. sh4d0wzcs
Mines got to be the Uncharted series as a whole. Crushing difficulty was pretty damn crushing at times, but very very fun. I'd also have to say Monster Hunter World because of how much time and effort I had to put into getting it, my first my game ever and it gripped me so damn tight and didn't let go, still working on getting Iceborne but need a break since crown farming is bad without events.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
A few more.... Bloodborne - My favorite PS4 exclusive. There is not one thing in this game that sticks out as being bad to me. Bloodborne was fucking brilliance from start to finish. Going after Cleric Beast to struggling with Orphan of Kos, every single boss felt satisfying to beat. I only wish there was a stackable version, because I’d jump on that ASAP. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - My favorite game in this console generation. It only took a couple hours for me to notice I was in for something special. Everything about this game felt fresh. Nothing felt forced, the acting was solid, I didn’t feel this game was grindy in the least. Gwent was a lot of fun, I wish I can get the Gwent game but my poor internet connection will just make it frustrating to play with other players. It it took me 110 - 120+ hours for the platinum. My most time consuming platinum to date, but I enjoyed every minute I played. Slain: Back From Hell - A bit of an obscure indie title that a lot of people haven’t heard about. Quality wise it’s not as great as some other indie games, but what it sets how to do, it does it well. Many of the trophies involved beating a boss without taking damage. This took a lot of practice. If you don’t master the counter attack technique, you will not get very far. The soundtrack was excellent. The visuals are pretty good, giving a dark, Gothic appeal. I’ve seen mixed reviews on this game, but I enjoyed it from start to finish. Downwell - Those who played through this game know how difficult and frustrating it can be. The entire game is RNG. Level layouts, enemy placements, weapons, power ups you get at the end of each section, all RNG. You have to go through four areas with three levels each, then you tackle the boss. You lose all your lives, it’s all the way back to the beginning of the game. Generally it took me 10 - 15 minutes to reach the boss. The boss himself was a pain for me to beat, considering all the things I had to watch out for. Beating him on Hard Mode was extremely satisfying, which took many attempts. Definitely a good platinum. Titan Souls - A rather difficult indie game. You’re a small boy with only one weapon. A bow with a single arrow. There are several bosses in this game. All of them are big, making the boy incredibly tiny in comparison. You have to find a weak spot. Some bosses required a lot of trial and error, and hitting their weak spot requires you to be very quick. I died hundreds of times in this game. One hit is an automatic death. Then to make things more challenging, I had to beat the game in No Roll Mode and Titan Mode. No Roll Mode required very specific moving patterns, as the lack of rolling made you an easy target. Titan Mode is one death = game over. One death hurls you all the way back to the start. This is one of my most satisfying platinums. Titan Souls was frustrating as well as difficult. I hammered it in just over three days. The music was very good. Overall a solid experience.
