ryuji_sakujo
Was just wondering if it's possible to report and have users banned from joining/hosting sessions if they've displayed toxic behaviour in past sessions? Of course screenshots or other evidence would have to be provided, admittedly this is hard to come by at times. So does PSNP enforce these kind of restrictions, where foul play has happened, to prevent users to organize future sessions through this website?

ryuji_sakujo
My post isn't really about snitching, or shaming. I just want to know if PSNProfiles has an official stance on toxic behaviour or solely regulates what happens on the PSNProfiles website but takes no part in moderating or taking action based on how a boosting session went down. Please only post serious replies.

cris3f
This would be useful to remove the selfish, stupid and shitty boosters. It would be difficult to do. I have 0 confidence it will be.
SKyZoX9
I dont think so it would be pretty tedious and require more humans to verify who is wrong and who is right. Edited November 23, 2019 by SKyZoX9

Yeah I think so too, virtually impossible to regulate unless an enormous amount of effort is put into moderating. Just wondering what PSNProfiles official take on it is, and if there's been instances where they've banned toxic boosting partners. I know for a fact that people have been reported and banned here on the forums for writing nasty messages to each other on DMs, but that's a whole different scope. Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
If I'm not wrong, there have been a few cases of moderation going on on the Seasons section, but I think it was to do with people trying to use it to promote their Discord and never boost, not because of no fair play from people who join sessions. And always trying to find good help is always a hit and miss thing, there are always bad apples everywhere, you just need to be careful (and at times, lucky) to avoid them.. This is essentially wht I prefer to first ask a selected few if they are interested in boosting, or at times, join sessions where I at least recognize some of them as reliable players, but at other times, I do end up having to play with totally new players and if things go wrong, I will just forget about it and move on.. I may not get back the time that they made me lose, but I'm not wasting extra time on top that either.. Do note, that for quite a while I'm on the less reliable side too, since my availability is quite limited and most often subject to changes at the last minute.. That's why I haven't made or join many sessions recently (I'm indefinitely postponing LBP Vita co-op bubbles somewhat because of this, since due to my lack of time, people moved on or lost interest, but I'm not accusing anyone on this, since I fully understand that sometimes if someone isn't available when it's needed, people just move on and find others to boost with). Said that, if I actually manage to show up to boost, I usually try to stay (and return in other days if needed), until the people who helped me get the trophies. Sometimes if the trophies requires a big group, I may even stay a bit more until some that joined halfway also get the trophies, but eventually, I have to stop helping, because I barely have time to play nowadays, and if I'm just helping others, I never play anything that I want (or get any trophies either...).

AFAIK there isn't a PSNP official stance for bad/toxic players on boosting sessions. The session feedback system (That still is on trial) was a way some people hoped it would alleviate this issue, but as it is, it doesn't do much tbh since no feedback actually saved after a session disappears. So, unfortunately, you'll have to learn the hard way who are the good boosters and who are the bad ones and then either manually approving who is going to enter your session or kicking the bad apples if set to join without host approval. Upendo_Vitani
I think if people are really that toxic I myself would just report them through the PS4 (if you're still able to that, I haven't had to in a while), delete them, and move on. My tolerance for toxic people is low, but I also don't want to give them more time than they are worth ie figuring out what to do about them other than what I've mentioned above. Guest
Block and move on. Don't waste anymore of your precious time on them. Oh and I mean on block on PSN, don't think block does much here. #rolleyes. It could be cool that you could rate a certain person thru their profile here too. Maybe something implemented kinda like the reputation/heart system here but you could add a heart to certain categories already set. One being Booster/helpful/etc. but it could be exploited just like reputation. Maybe some info about the booster when you scroll onto their name, etc.
