I just reached level 17 (really easy game, but I got distracted and died) and... Not a single trophy popped so far... I didn't start with custom game, just straight with campaign... Edit: Tried the game on alt. account. Started custom - got the trophy. Played level 1 - trophy also popped. I just started on another alt with "Campaign" - trophy for level one plinged as it should... Strange... And yes, you have to be online for the trophies to pop.
