VVVtunia announced for Playstation 4 (2020)

Compile Heart teased a new Neptunia spin-off game a few days ago called VVVtunia to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary, where Neptune and co. Get transported to The Virtual World "Planet EMO" where they help the 6-members idol unit Mewtral save Planet EMO.

 

Only two members of the virtual idol unit have been named so far, Yuu and Mii.

 

Here are a few more details:

• “BeatTik” is a system where Neptune and the others dance to the beat. You can also customize their costumes and accessories.
• Neptune and co. Will usually fight using guns and other means, while the idol units attacks consist of consecutive attack sequences.
• “Douga Butler” is a system where you can scan a video to be converted into an item that can be used in the game.
• Equipment consists of a cameras and guns.
• There is a system, described as a step up from Photo Mode, that lets you enjoy cute videos from the characters.
• Textures and other small details are being made to be close to the illustrations.

 

More details will be revealed later on. VVVtunia will be released on the Playstation 4 in Japan in 2020, western release TBA.
