Maahniac
Hi guys! I played this game YEARS ago, but never got further than the Cosmo Canyon. Besides the Bromance trophy (and the Cross Dressing trophy), is there anything I need to watch out for? I kind of hate having to worry about a bunch of missable trophies, when I'd rather just play and enjoy it all, without worrying about a guide. But I'd also hate to do the game twice, because I missed something that I easily could've gotten. And the confusing thing is, that guides vary a lot in how many missable trophies the game has. Something I would love to have, is some sort of roadmap where I have a list of chapters, or areas or whatever, with a specific note of what I need to worry about in each chapter. Like, when reading the guides before playing, a bunch of stuff related to Materias and so on is really confusing, because I'm not familiar with the game, beyond mostly the opening Midgard chapter. So to make this short: Besides Bromance and Cross Dressing, what should I really stay aware of, in terms of missable trophies?
Conor
See the Light- Learn Aerith's final Limit Break Great Gospel Highly missable- If you don't get the manual for this ability before entering the Temple of the Ancients then you've definitely missed out. Aerith must have all of her other Limit Breaks learned before you can use the manual so if you have it but she still doesn't have the rest of her Limits learned, you gotta grind for them inside the Temple because once you complete the Temple then your opportunity is gone in that playthrough.
Arcesius
Assuming you don't fail the Huge Materia quests, the following trophies are missable in addition to the ones mentioned already: Recrute Vincent (Need to give the correct answers) Learn Vincent's Last Limit Break (Need to visit Lucretia during Part 2 or she'll be gone) If you fail the Huge Materia quests you can miss some other things as well, but I assume you wouldn't let that happen anyways ? The first two become available once Cid becomes the leader of your party (North Corel and Fort Condor). You just need to make sure to win the four "mini-games" when you get to them in the story
TemplePilot
I'm in the same boat. The guides feel like they're for people who are already very familiar with the game but I haven't played through it in 20 years. A lot seems to be "When you get to Point X..." - well I don't know til I'm already there so I'm worried it'll be too late. Oh well, that's what multiple save files are for I suppose.

I mean I played through this game 20 years ago and it was always very clear to me the points being referenced.
