xzero4812
i dont have the ps3 port but from 3ds ur guns carry over so i would say that starting on normal would be better then move to infernal
TwilightSpira
I personally loved this game on 3ds, so I started on infernal. But the game is so good. Use the normal playthrough to enjoy it. The MP though will get most of your time if you want platinum
Crisis001
Go with normal first! Infernal may be too much for starters.

Brawler
I played this on the 360 to completion. You'll definitely want to play through on normal first to stock up on both ammo and a couple perks you get for clearing difficulties such as auto loader. You could most likely do it your first run, but that'd be tedious. Plus you can knock out the random trophies along the way on normal then just play on Infernal. Bayoneda
Normal mode first for fully upgraded weapons, also for some trophies which is a lot easier in normal mode, then infernal.

Terra Leonhart
It depends if you have played the old RE on PS1. If you want the feeling of RE1-RE: Code Veronica X. Then go for Infernal it'll definitly provide you with the challenge you seek. Like most says, if you want to get familiar directions and finding weapons then play it on normal.
