New Casino Heist DLC Coming December 12th

83 posts in this topic

Even though this doesn't give people with 100% on the trophy list a reason to go back, the new content will be a fun way to get more money and RP for any trophy hunters still working on the 100%. The only reason I'll play the Casino Heist myself will be if one of my friends starts this game and wants to do the content to assist with making trophy progress on the base game in a more fun way. This heist in particular seems like it has the worst payout, I've read people say that the finale pays around $1million and then the challenges tied to various feats on the game range from $250,000 - $300,000 each. Much less rewarding than the previous heist packs. I bought the $1.8million arcade and I'm not sure if the content even allows you to make a profit on that investment through just completing the heist for fun.

Looks like a nice DLC, but rather disappointing there are no trophies tied to it.

The new radio station is just gross.

I'd quite honestly rather listen to a radio station that just emits static. Fantastically bad, but that's the way it's going i'm afraid. The GTA games used to have formidable soundtracks: just look at Vice City and San Andreas. Now it's just rammed with mumble rap and other compulsory listening should you need to look cool and down with the times as a modern day teenager. People don't seriously enjoy the trash on that station do they? Surely not.

Totally in relief that there're no new trophies.  Best holiday gift ever!  I only hope that R* doesn't add them later with a patch or something! :/

Tbh, the last set of Doomsday dlc heist trophies were asinine.  If they had a trophy to say complete the heist on hard, that would be both challenging and reasonable.

But no, they had to stipulate firstly, no deaths, but the real kicker was not only did you have to do masterminds with 2 players, you need to repeat it with 3, then 4 players. You could be a kickass player with insane skills, but if your teammate failed, it's all for naught.  I know 'cause I failed my teammates many times!

The saving grace iirc was the quit-to-xmb if someone died. While annoying and a time-waster, at least it preserved your progress.  I wonder how many people actually got the trophy legit without quit-to-xmb and did all 2,3,4 player runs flawlessly!

The most annoying thing was actually that the 2 player run does not change with respect to difficulty, you get the same amount of enemies as in the 3 or 4 player runs lmao

The heist is available and so far it has no new trophies, so it might be safe to say it won't be getting new trophies at all. I'm still skeptical, but I'll be very fucking glad if it never gets new trophies again.

Rockstar is milking GTA Online for all it has. It remains one of their primary cash cows. In contrast, I was hoping Red Dead Redemption 2 would offer some exciting multiplayer. But based on what people have told me, it's a boring wasteland that isn't nearly as fun as the online was in the original Red Dead Redemption.

The Doomsday Heist confirmed that I was never going to 100 percent the game. I absolutely despise trophies that require me to work with a very coordinated group of people, doesn't matter if they are boosting or not. I can imagine being screamed at on a headset trying to boost an online trophy with a bunch of dipshits that don't know what the fuck they're doing.

So you haven't even played the multiplayer but already formed an opinion. Okay...

Ok lonesome ranger, we get it. You're antisocial.

Same thing here. You haven't even tried but already judge that players would scream at you? You have a weird view of people buddy. Like how old are you? 12 years? There are many friendly, respectful and trustful people out there who made those heists and managed to get them trophies.
