Caution Reinstalling game

I’m not sure why but when I go to reinstall gta on my PS3 I’m greeted with an error code trying to download the updates. I have tried another PS3 and the same happens. My network is fine I can download updates for other games.

Just a heads up as there maybe issues currently

See if this help.  I had to change my DNS earlier this year because of problems connecting with the RockStar server.

hey guys, sorry for the necro.

 

been facing the same problem - cant seem to update to the latest ver. 1.27.

the update usually messes up around 1.17/1.18 - update size 65MB.

 

recently replaced my ps3's HDD (changed it to a new 1TB HDD) and disc lens so my previous game data is gone.

didnt have this update issue previously so im not sure if this is new.

Methods tried:

1. Safe mode > Restore file system
2. Fixed IP Address + setting DNS to Google's
3. Adding the PS3 IP address to DMZ
4. Using wired instead of wireless internet connection
5. Using a different ISP (have 2 ISPs in my house)
6. Disabling UP&P on both PS3 settings and router settings
7. Disabling Media Server Connection (PS3 settings)
8. Deleting the corrupted data and redownloading + installing
9. Leaving the corrupted updated data and redownloading + installing
10. Installing the updates only after "tutorial" is over
11. Installing updates BEFORE game data
12. Installing updates AFTER game data is installed
13. Deleted main game data and reinstalled
14. Downloading the updates from various locations:
    1. Before game start - in XMB > Check for Updates
    2. After starting game - update prompt
    3. Within game - Online Tab - sign in to PSN - update prompt
15. Downloading the 65MB update as a new download (as GTAV downloads updates and installs it before proceeding, I cancelled just before the 65MB update downloads and restarted the updating process)

 

I've tried the gamefaq link's solution (other than friends list because i don't have any friends added).

Any idea how to fix this issue? I am currently on version 1.17 (update size 580MB), as downloading the next update will result in corrupting my update data.
