Ranger Gear challenges

I probably have done 50 or so missions/contracts/stongholds with the Ranger javelin and have not gotten seeker grenades once. Its the only thing I need for the trophy. I've done them from easy to MW1 and still nothing. Is there a better farming method???

Just put of curiosity, have you been paying attention to the descriptions on epic / legendaries? Those versions have different names but in the description it says what it is.

I don’t think they count towards the regular challenges. They have their own challenges iirc.

I had the same with one of the Colossus gear challenges. I just kept grinding strongholds and at one point it finally dropped.

I think they do actually count. I mean I'm not 100% sure but I know I've had weapon ones pop with the legendary variants for sure.

Masterworks and legendary versions of gear 100% count towards their normal variants.
