Monthly Madness 2020 - It can't end like that... - Sign ups open all year

Recommended Posts

Sorry!  It's been a hectic couple of days.

I completed the visual novel Song of Memories.  The main conflict of the game comes from a virus that turns people into monsters. Don't think it counts for any of the challenges.

@MarkusT1992

Sorry about that. I wrote a post for my march games and it looks like it never posted. thankfully it saved in the memory here so i'll just try posting again.

Games for the month:

Far Cry 3 Remastered (There's weird ink monsters): For another event

Broken Age (Various monsters): Another event, started this month.

War Theater: Blood of Winter (Dont know if this counts for HC because your main captain unit is a huge monster thing but you're technically not that character) Started this month

Bonfire (Various alien monsters): Started this month.

four games in a month

How'd you find the speedrun?

I'm just finding it fiddly to get the timing low for each chapter.

Also, some stats change so far this year:

Stats when joined:
Platinum trophies: 199
100% completed: 302
Completion: 62.21%
Stat changes during the year:
Platinum trophies: +19
100% completed: +22
Completion: +1.43%

I had practice with it. This was my second time platinuming Broken Age, this time was when i did the Limited Run physical version. I did it on PS4 originally. The vita was was a little easier with the touch controls but also a little buggier. The ps4 one took me three tries though. Got it in one this time.

So i got my first game completed for this month challenge with "inFamous First Light".
This does not count for HC.
However, it counts for "Complete a game you started this month".

I had hoped i would be able to grind through "Horizon Zero Dawn" this month.
Sadly, my small brain forgot to copy my save into the online storage before the game went off PS Now.
So i am currently 20+ hours behind what i where expecting, and to be honest i am not sure i have 20 hours of PS 4 gaming left this month.
So the inFamous Plat where kind of a cop out to make sure i atleast got a plat for this months theme.

So, for around the world and back again, I give you

SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS.

This should also satisfy the hardcore requirement (grasslands, caves, water, deserts, etc.).

I also 100% Asdivine Hearts, though I don't know if an RPG really counts as an "open world" game.

I completed my game for April's theme: Shadow Of The Colossus which also features the HC requirement since the game features areas like forests, beaches, mountains, deserts, lakes, caves, ruins, and more.

Great minds think alike!

Hope this counts but my game for the month is

Persona 5 Royal.

big open world Tokyo with multiple activities to do.

does that count?????

Since I haven't played Persona 5 yet I can't really judge if it is open world.I know Persona 4 thought and if it is like that it would count.

For Asdivine Hearts: If you would say it has an open world than it counts. For me that wouldm include exploring freely and being able to get back to older areas for example.

Persona 5 is like Persona 4 but even more.

Also play it, it’s great!

Beat Red Dead Redemption, after three years of sitting on my profile and probably around six in the backlog.

Just a silver rank, though - I'll probably get more of the trophies at some point, but the platinum's not likely to happen.

Hi there! I won't be making any more progress in gaming for the last days of April so I'll post the games I played that fit this month's theme.

Shadow Of The Colossus fits the month's theme and the challenge:.

  • Complete a game that fulfills the Hardcore requirement of that month.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End fits the month's theme and also the challenges:

  • Complete a game that fulfills the Hardcore requirement of that month.
  • Complete a game that you started this month

Marvel's Spider-Man I only complete the DLCs since I already hadthe play, but it counts for these challenges:

  • Complete all currently released DLC of a game (games only count once, even if more DLC is released throughout the event).
  • Complete a Game in which you got your first trophy a year ago.

Too bad I wasn't able to finish 4 games in one month, anyways keep on the hunt!:yay:
