A clash of cultures in my simple/quick lunch today... that also happens to mirror the same clash in my ancestry...

rice with furikake (Japanese rice seasoning), topped with do chua (pickled daikon & carrot) and kim chi (Korean nuclear cabbage - nuka-bbage?).

 

I guess do chua is technically Vietnamese, but as I grew up with it often being in our kitchen, I'm gonna make a gross assumption that it's common in Korea/Japan.
