I was thinking about using Control for that instead of using it for the Family category. The basis of the game has you taking over as director of the FBC. I think it is reasonable based on what others are using? It’s probably quite analogous to the Sheriff role in The Wolf Among Us. Control is a great game btw. One of the best games I’ve played in quite a while. Popular Post Starrk_01 Posted January 27, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted January 27, 2020 1st update (Week of 1/20/2019) Once I joined this event I started focusing on the game I was already working on: Last of Us. The only trophy I had left to go was the Firefly Journey for multiplayer. Had to work some late hours this week and got sick on Wednesday which caused me to stay home in bed (didn't even have the energy to play games). After a few matches here and there during the work week, I sat down and grind a couple weeks on Saturday, where I ultimately finished off the journey and got my first resolution done. So behold, Last of Us is my Focus on Family game. One down, nine (more likely four to be honest) to go. I have already started on my 2nd game and will be focusing my time to that and maybe another one. Here is a few games I have planned for some resolutions (subject to change of course). Switched my Focus on the Family game to Octodad as I picked it up on sale recently. In the end I decided to fit this under Volunteer More as there are over 100+ side quests to do in the game and a trophy related to it. This was a game I started over 2.5 years ago and I guess it didn't really gel with me at the time as it took me this long to go back to and finish. It was something I decided to pick up again on a whim and I'm glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it this time around, although I still got a touch frustrated with the defense missions. I had a great time doing the post game bosses and feel like they offered a bit more of a challenge and needed some more strategy to beat, getting me to use different characters too as I pretty much stuck with Aurora, Jessica, Terry and Bianca for most of the game. I'm even considering buying Dragon Quest Heroes II now although I hear it's much more of a grind. On topic: I've been working on Hatsune Miku for 2 weeks. Most of the trophies are very grindy, and I haven't been doing them while I play the songs, which is what you're meant to do. The no death run is pretty tough. I've added Control for my Better Job category. Gucamelee 2 is coming along slowly. Godfather II done for the side quests category. Unfortunately, it was pointed out to me that the trophy list icon is actually off center, and even slightly angled. Why??? Now I can never unsee how bad it is! At least the game was really fun though. That finally finishes off the God of War Saga discs I got. Just Ascension and the new one to do before the entire series is done, but I'll probably get to those another time. While I was at it, I even started hitting the gym again myself. I really enjoyed the game at first but you're required to play so much darn golf for the platinum. Getting all the NPC's from the tournaments was awful. The character customization was really good but most of the options are behind loot boxes and random drops. There was also too much DLC; there are more DLC courses then base game ones. There are also micro transactions; they were not very aggressive but their existence bothered me. The game was enjoyable most of the time but I got sick of it. I'll let others weigh in as well, but if no one else thinks that it should count, then you'll have to find a different game for this category. Planning on doing at least two more categories, with Heavy Rain (Family) and Detroit: Become Human (Relationship). Really a polar opposite to what I just played. It was fun, easy, glitch-free, and actually enjoyable to platinum. The level design was better than the first game, but not as good as 3. However, I enjoyed the challenges in 2 more than 3 (I'm weird and played the series out of order). Finally finishing the series definitely reminded me why I was always more of a Spyro kid than a crash kid. Lol. Really liked all 3 even though I put off 2 for a while (but was able to use it for the event). Anyways, Next up will be either Heavy Rain or Bully most likely. Hard to tell which one I'll finish first since I've been on a Nintendo switch binge recently.
