Popular Post Mesopithecus
Update #6 Lose the Weight: Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom 02/10/2020 Focus on Family: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - 01/06/2020 Update Relationship Status: Go to the Gym: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy 01/09/2020 Find Time for Yourself: Get a Better Job: The Raven Remastered 01/19/2020 Finish Your Masterpiece: Volunteer More: Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below 01/28/2020 Do Better in School: Make More Money: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation 01/17/2020 I completed Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom late last night/early this morning and I'm adding it to Lose the Weight category because of one character....Poky. I've added a screenshot of all the characters in the spoiler below, Poky is the overweight guy in green. Spoiler Now, I say Poky is overweight but according to a bio I found on another site for him his height is 4ft 3 and his weight as 121 pounds, which actually puts him into the obese category based on his BMI. Plus there is a trophy for eating all of the food in the game with Poky. I feel like I'm being mean about him, but he deserves it - his whiny little voice made me want to wring his little furry neck. So, more about the game....to start with I wish I had gone with my initial instincts and stopped playing this within the first 20 or so minutes. It seems like everyone else had the same thought looking at the trophy percentages, I wanted to give it a fair chance though. It didn't really get better. The game itself is a weird mix that reminded me of Jak & Daxter, with RPG elements, horrible platforming and a fighting style combat, it didn't really do any of those things well. Once you get the hyper moves for the characters, it pretty much breaks the game as you can just spam hyper moves and soups to refill the tension gauge. Don't try to press O to skip the hyper animations though, I ended up with many issues doing this as it seems the game couldn't keep up with my "skills" My first playthrough and trophy cleanup took around 25 hours (felt much longer than that), then I needed to do a second speed playthrough using the opposite choices - think good/bad karma. The outcome means you get a different final boss. I got a lot of game breaking bugs on my second playthrough, particularly in the second to last area - I had a progression bug which meant downloading my backed up save from two hours prior, a weird bug with a boss fight where on the results screen it cycled around the pre-fight dialogue and then put me back into the fight where the boss had 0 HP but was unkillable, then back again in the second to last area I had multiple occasions where a cut scene didn't trigger where it was supposed to so my character was just standing there unable to progress... I'm very thankful for @DamagingRoblistening to all my rants about the game, and for directing me to a really useful walkthrough.
Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Finished my 2nd game. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! Also I saw that Life Is Strange hasn't been added to the spreadsheet. It is my pick for the do better in school category so I would love seeing it added. Uncharted Drake Fortune is likely to be next one. I am working on the Crushing Playthrough and after that the Brutal difficulty awaits. Lose the Weight - Shenmue II Focus on Family - Cyberdimension Neptune: 4 Goddesses Online Update Relationship Status - Go to the Gym - Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus - I think between Captain Qwark (hideously underused in this title) and Neftin Prog (one of the two villains), I have this covered. Both are obviously steroid freaks (huge chiseled upper torsos and arms with scrawny lower body) that need to balance their workouts a little better to fill out their legs. Popular Post DamagingRob
Well, might as well add my latest completion to the list: Lose the Weight - Steins;Gate 0 Focus on Family - Dad of Boi (God of War) Update Relationship Status - The Sims 4 Go to the Gym - Yakuza 0 Find Time For Yourself - NieR: Automata Get a Better Job - Late Shift Finish Your Masterpiece - The Unfinished Swan ? Volunteer More - Fallout 4 Make More Money - Mafia 3 Finally played and completed The Unfinished Swan. I don't know why I never bought or played it before now. Tried the demo, and didn't really find it appealing? Didn't want to spend money on a game that had been on Plus? Was scared off by the Minimalist trophy? Which that would have been silly, because it only took me ~15 minutes and a single attempt. But better late than never, I guess. Pretty unique and cool game. Also completed 5 other games with my PS Now trial, but none have anything to do with school (that I could tell). Category continues to allude me..
Popular Post Arctic Cress
In the end, it took... two days! WorldEnd Syndrome can also fit pretty much the same categories YU-NO could with Focus on Family, Update Relationship Status, and Do Better in School, but it has one thing that most visual novels do not have, and that's side missions. This makes it a perfect candidate for Volunteer More. Lose the Weight Focus on Family Update Relationship Status Go to the Gym Find Time For Yourself Get a Better Job - AI: The Somnium Files Finish Your Masterpiece Volunteer More - WorldEnd Syndrome Do Better in School - YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World Make More Money Two more for the badge, but I'll see if I can get all ten completed by the deadline.

Popular Post Starrk_01
3rd Update (Week of Feb 3rd): Unfortunately unlike the previous two updates no additional category is completed. I have been focused on Nier: Automata, which is definitely a longer game than Last of Us multiplayer (which I was nearly done with before joining) and God of War III (which I already did previously on the PS3). However, I'm quite enjoying the game and the break in pace for playing a shorter game. Without giving too much detail I'm almost through Ending A. Will probably be continuing to play this game this week unless I see something quick for a different category or put my focus back onto the PS3 and do Steins Gate.
Popular Post MarkusT1992
Got my third game done with Control I decided to use it for the Volunteer More theme although it also would fit the Get a better job them. But I started Detroit: Become Human which should count for that as well. Control was a good game in my opinion. A solid third person shooter with a weird story. The only thing that wasn't that great is the map. The map isn't realy clear to understand which leads to wandering around sometimes to find where to go.

Popular Post ZoutjeNL
Just finished my 3th game! Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered. An enjoyable experience. I went for 100% as fat drake is part of the DLC trophy, fitting for the Lose The Weight category. Definitely had some frustrating experiences on brutal difficulty, due to glitches and overall some just pure luck moments (chapter 7 and the final fight especially). I haven't decided what game I want to go for next on one hand I want to go for the next Uncharted on the other hand it is always nice to mix it up for some diversity. Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
Well, with Sly 2 unplayable for me, and me continuing to clear up my backlog, I got another game finished, and I guess that I can throw it into a category here.. So, adding Rainbow Skies to the Volunteer Work (after all, over half of the craziness in it is from the side quests and the NPC giving them...). This game was also bothering me a little because I didn't want to start a new vita game before finishing this one. Next up on Vita is Psycho-Pass time.. Although I'm in a no-plat mood until I finish FF8... By the way, I know that likely a few of you have experience with Danganrompa, so, I would like to know how long it would take to plat the first game on vita (note: slow reader, following a platinum playthough guide, if there's one). This idea came because of Sly, and Monokuma being kind of fat (I think there's another big guy in it too). My current standings (6/10): Lose the Weight - Danganrompa? Focus on Family - Persona 4 Dancing All Night Update Relationship Status - √Letter Go to the Gym - Under Night in-birth Late[st] Find Time For Yourself - Final Fantasy VIII Get a Better Job - Psycho-Pass Finish Your Masterpiece - Persona 3 Dancing in the Moonlight Volunteer More - Rainbow Skies Do Better in School - My Hero One's Justice Make More Money - Guilty Gear Xrd - SIGN- Edited February 13, 2020 by Han_the_Dragon

Volunteer More - Fallout 4 Do Better in School - Miko Gakkou Monogatari: Kaede Episode Make More Money - Mafia 3 So, I think I found a game for the school category. Lol. I don't know what the fuck that is, but I kept seeing it when leafing through the PS Now catalogue. Found out it's a very easy Plat, and you basically play as a student in a shrine maiden school. Technically, you don't spend a lot of the game in school, since the school year ends right after the game begins.. Or maybe it's winter break, since none of the girls go home? But you go back inside it 50+ times, and Kaede eventually has to take a makeup test to avoid flunking and being expelled. Like I said, it's easy. But there isn't much gameplay. You walk places, and watch unpausable and unskippable (for your first playthrough) cutscenes. That's it. If you don't like the story/characters, you will probably be in for a bad time. I found it cute, though.
Popular Post Yen-Pop
Wow! What a deeply upsetting experience! Especially as someone who has worked professionally in health care and mental health a majority of my adult life! I uhhhh don't really recommend Town of Light for a lot of potentially triggering and spoilery reasons. Oh boy, can't think of the last time I had to look away from a videogame cutscene. But it fits into the Focus on Family aspect, since the main character spends almost the majority of the game focused on her family, finding evidence of her mother, or her childhood, which involved...aspects...of her family and their...........interactions. But hey, that's five! Lose Weight: Trover Saves the Universe Focus on Family: Town of Light Update Relationship Status: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan 19% Go to the Gym: Brutal Legend 72% Time For Yourself: Night in the Woods Better Job: Donut County Finish Your Masterpiece: Volunteer More: Do Better in School: Make More Money: Assassin's Creed Rogue (PS3)

The guide says 50h but you might be able to get it faster. The first game only has two modes, one being the story and the other being school mode. You have to play school mode a few times to get all endings and level up all the report cards but one playthrough can be done pretty quick, maybe 1-2 hours after the first one, which takes longer because of the report cards you have to fill. Unlocking the whole gallery can be grindy, not sure since I didn't have to do that on the PS4 version. I would advise to play the story without a guide, as there are no missable trophies.

This idea came because of Sly, and Monokuma being kind of fat (I think there's another big guy in it too). Danganronpa is a good fit for the category because of Hifumi in the first game. 2 and v3 are way longer plats and if you haven't played the first game yet, there are things in 2 and v3 that won't make much sense even if they are self-contained stories with their own casts for the most part. They do all link together in the endings and the endings of 2 and v3 will definitely spoil the first game's ending. Vita version is definitely better since the PS4 version is the first two games and it took me almost a month to finish it and I'd played the games before. DR2 just has a lot of BS extra content that is a pain in the butt, but v3 is definitely the worst as far as overall plat length and the plat is nearly UR for good reason. I did DR Reload 1-2 for this event and it did take me most of January to wrap up. With the first game, you don't even need a guide for the plat. There is one trophy for getting through a trial with no mistakes, and you can use chapter select right after the first trial and replay it with the answers fresh in your mind (or grab a guide to make sure you get it perfect). It is faster to get the plat if you use a guide for what are the right presents and choices in events, but you can muddle through without and still get the plat, it just will take more time since you'll need more events to meet the goals. You're probably looking at 20-30 hours to wrap up the main game, possibly more depending on how much exploring you do and how well you do on trials. Then after that you have a minimum of 4 runs of school mode, but more than likely you'll need 5+ if you aren't using a guide for choices/presents or are still hoarding monocoins. School mode has little story to it, the big thing is getting all the events so you can wrap up the report cards and then get all the endings. There isn't anything missable in the first game, and outside of probably replaying the first trial for the trophy to get through a trial with no mistakes, you probably won't need chapter select. I would recommend to max out Celeste's report card first because that gets you more monocoins from trials and that will make it easier to get the trophy for 999 monocoins, all presents, and all gallery items. Outside of that one bit, enjoy the game and I definitely recommend to play blind and only consult a guide if you get stuck. The game is overall pretty forgiving
Popular Post Cassylvania
Just when you think I'm licked... I come away without an ounce of saliva on me! Yes, that's right -- I had a backup all along! With a strong uppercut to the chin, another lengthy plat comes out of nowhere and takes the spot of the hardest category in this event. Hatsune Miku and that panda from Just Dance cry that I didn't play their games. There will be no fans blowing or Inks a'sploding in this rundown apartment.
