Another monday, another update!

 

The completion of the 5th game: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered. An enjoyable ending to the Remastered Trilogy! I enjoyed playing through all 3 games but I need my break from Uncharted before I start playing the 4th one. I am not sure yet what I will be playing next. Tommorow I will start first playing through the FF 7 Demo and after that I have hopefully decided. A good feeling to finally have the requirement for the badge.

I just wasn't sure because of the paycheck thing. One character is basically the partner of a police man but since he is an android he wouldn't get payed for doing it.

Update #6.5 (Week of Feb 24th)

 

Time to do an audible...

 

With only about a month left I've switched by strategy on at least getting five games by looking at what other people have already done. While all ten is out of reach (which I suspected at the very beginning) I'm going to do as many as I can in this last month.

 

So Lose the Weight is now going to go to Sonic the Fighters which I have already completed. Steins;gate, which I'm still working on, will be moved over to Update Relationship Status (literally every ending I have got so far he ends up with a girl). Finally after I'm done (or if I get bored) with Steins;gate I will be moving onto Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for Do Better at School.

 

Let us see if this plan works out.

Last night I finished up What Remains of Edith Finch! It's an okay walking simulator, it had some interesting ideas in it, but I had to watch an analysis video for me to fully appreciate it. It's just not the best thing in the world on the regular playthrough imo

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Lose the Weight category. There should of been a category about improving my driving because my driving needs a bit... Or a lot of improvement ?. Fortunately, I'm a lot better at losing weight and keeping it off.

 

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory was the game I completed for the focus on family category. The game was more about family then I thought it was. A actual family forms during the story. Technically, a daycare service but their actual parents never came back to pick them up, so I guess it's technically a orphanage but no children ever got adopted (except that one that got "adopted"  but you get her back). The kiddies do get raised from babies to young adults like they're family. You give then food, water, shelter, teach them good morals, be so lazy that they succeed a life because they don't want to be anything like you, hold onto embarrassing things they created as kids, share their embarrassing secrets as much as possible, let them live with you despite being grown adults with jobs, give them deep psychological trauma that no amount therapy will erase, give them pudding, have really nasty fights about trivial things that almost tear the family apart and apologize after those really bad fights a day later. If that didn't convince you that this qualifies for the category, well there are blood family members that spend time together during the game too.

    

Persona 4 Golden is being replaced with Will: A Wonderful World. I simply don't feel like playing Persona anytime soon and completing it in the proper time frame with everything else would be very difficult. I feel that Will: A Wonderful World is appropriate for the Do Better in School category since 2 of the main protagonists are students and a few scenes have been set in a school in the portion of the game I have played.

Finished up Steins;gate which is my 5th game of this event. This will be put under Update Relationship Status. Even though I got the minimum done I'll keep going until the conclusion of this event. Next game I'm working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Its been a few weeks since I updated. During that time I have been working on a number of games. I had a lot of fun playing Dark Souls Remastered. A big chunk of it was played co-op with @spacey_dweeb which was a big help as it would have taken me another few weeks and a couple more complete runs for the platinum otherwise. Fun game but yeah Blight town was as much of a bitch as I had heard.

 

Also been working on Bully (one of my favorite games from last gen) and getting sidetracked with The Division 1 & 2.

Update time!

 

What a coincidence, last Monday was my last update and guess what it is Monday again! Managed to lock in my 6th game, Spider-Man. What a blast it was! Spider-Man never was my go to superhero...but I really enjoyed the game a lot. Makes me want to watch some Spider-Man movies. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I will save the DLC for later. 4 more games to go. Undecided wether Bioshock 2 or Infamous is next, a good night of sleep will hopefully make the decision easyier.

UPDATE TIME!!! (And another switch.)

 

First off! I got the Platinum on Sims 4. Not my type of game AT ALL. I enjoyed the original Sim City back in the day but this...was not my cup of tea.

 

SWITCH: Switching out Uncharted for Citizens of Earth (saw someone else had this one as well for Losing the Weight category). Little nephew has never played the Uncharted series so I am going to let him play through those at his pace and just enjoy them.

It's been a while since my last update, but I finally got out of the Hope's (Despair) Peak Academy for the first time... 

 

Really enjoyed Danganronpa more than I was expecting, and now I'm kind of interested in following with #2 soon ?, I bought them so long ago, and my only regret was not starting it earlier. 

 

By the way, are the other games as good? Can I use a somewhat similar approach? I played 99% blind during story on Mean/Mean setting, just with the tip to get Celeste skill for 3x monocoins ASAP, using the best answers list, and spend as little as possible until I got the trophy, then in School mode I just used the best location/answers list. Playing this way gave me enough freedom to have fun with it, instead of just following a guide (that I start to feel boring after a while), so, I want to do the same for the remaining 3 games.. 

 

I'm technically done, since I use Jurassic Park Episode 4 for "Get a better Job", but I will not mark it as complete yet, because I would rather not use 2 Episodes of the same series as entries (I should get another copy of Sly HD collection this week, so, Sly 2 for that, maybe? Or maybe I can try Psycho-Pass before Danganronpa 2..)
