Ok. It took me a while to figure out which game I wanted to use for the lose weight category, but I remembered Onion Bro from Dark Souls!! I've been looking for an excuse to go back to this game but couldn't think of a category for it. 

 

I also started Thronebreaker today and Count Caldwell would fit the overweight description. So I updated the list of games I made for "Lose the Weight" on page 3 and added both of these games to it.

  Not just because it was an example, but also because I need to work more on my FF series, now that the Series feature has been added to PSNP.
• Focus on Family - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
• Update Relationship Status - Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God
  It may border on stalker territory, but Gigadis and Cliora both have so much love to give!
• Go to the Gym - Batman: Arkham Knight
• Find Time For Yourself - Atari Flashback Classics Volume 1
  Does this count, considering the entirity of the game is just a selection of mini-games? If not, I'll find something else
• Get a Better Job - This is the Police
  I mean, you're working towards retiring in the game, but it's still entirely based around your day job.
• Finish Your Masterpiece - The Last Tinker: City of Colors 
  I don't know a lot about the game since I haven't started it yet, but it definitely seems like its painterly? And there's a trophy for conducting an orchestra. Someone correct me if it doesn't fit in here.

  The trophy "In For a Yenny..." requires you to save 1million Yen on-hand.

Great idea for an event - sign me up, please.  I had a pretty terrible 2019 for gaming and something like this should help me to focus more.

 

Some ideas for games:

 

Focus on Family = Life is Strange 2 - Stars a pair of brothers.  I was waiting for all the episodes to come out before starting the game.

Get a Better Job = Return of the Obra Dinn - The player character is working as an insurance assessor throughout the game (and really should consider looking for a better job).  I need to do a second playthrough for one particular trophy.

Lose the Weight = AI: the Somnium Files - Mama and Mayumi are both on the chunky side.  Just got this as a Christmas present, great game so far.

Update Relationship Status = Psychadelica of the Black Butterfly - Not exactly a romance game, but I'm pretty sure there are romance routes with various guys.  I'd forgotten all about this game to be honest, it didn't blow me away.

Volunteer More = Atelier Lydie & Suelle - No shortage of side quests to help friends and acquaintances.  I had to include one longer game on the list...

I'm really interested in getting involved in this, if it's not too late? I need to have a think about how to make the games I have access to fit the categories. Should be doable. 

 

Seems pretty cool. As someone who is new to the platform and the forum, it could be an awesome way for me to get to know some of you.

There a many reasons this game counts but we can't talk about them in polite company.

It would be harder to find a character that doesn't count for this category.

Golf can be considered a fun and relaxing hoby but playing golf is the point of the game. You can also go fishing as a side activity. 

 

Get a Better Job - Uncanny Valley

Security guard. The hard part is not getting bored.  

 

Finsh Your Masterpiece - Hatsune Miku:  Project Diva Future Tone

Rhythm game. I also finished the base game yesterday, so that is 1+ point for me? 

 

Volunteer More -  Zone of the Enders HD

It's opptional to save some people from mortal peril while not causing too much property damage.

 

Do Better in School - Persona 4 Golden

You go to school. 

 

Make More Money - Trinity Universe

There are at least 5 trophies that are money related. Most of them are about spending it rather then making it.

I need confirmation that a game would be appropriate for a category from people who've played it but without spoilers. I'm looking at doing Detroit: Become Human for the Get a Job category and was wondering it it fits? I know two of the main characters have a 'job' (Maid and Detective), but as they're robots/androids, I don't know if it fits as someone doing a job instead of being made for the job. I do know that the theme of humanity and free will are touched on in that game, but would it fit? Once again, no spoilers please.
