I'm really disappointed that I haven't been able to take advantage of Gamestop's Buy 2 Get 2 Free promotion - the stores around me either don't have games I want, or have them with the generic Gamestop cases, which look really tacky on my shelf and stick out like a sore thumb. Even with that in mind I've managed to bulk up my PS3 collection and get a few titles I've been really wanting to try, some for several years. Without further ado, there's the good stuff: It's pretty panned, or at least very divisive, but I've wanted to give the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy a try. I already had the first game, so wanted to pick up the other two. I've also heard really good things about The Saboteur and it seems like a hidden gem, so I definitely want to try it out. I managed to get all these for $10.50 altogether. Definitely happy with that. Like The Saboteur, it seems Singularity is a pretty good game, so I want to try it out. I've also wanted to try Rage for a long time (since it was released) but simply never got around to it. As far as Lost Planet, I haven't heard too much about it but even if it's not fun, it was only $3.50. I've already played Crysis 2 and 3, but I've been really craving shorter FPS games and those don't seem to be as common anymore. It makes for a good excuse to replay the games. I'm also just now realizing that the original Crysis has trophies, so that could be worth a replay. Like Rage, I've been wanting to play Homefront since it came out but never got around to it, so this was a good reason to get it. Actually got them around Black Friday but they arrived not too long ago. GTA IV: The Complete Edition was obtained mostly due to boosting purposes. I already have the regular edition but I'll be needing an extra copy for the boosting. NFS Shift 1 & 2, because I want to Platinum each and every NFS game out there. Love the series. Bodycount, to boost alongside my buddy @cr1s. I've heard the game is from the same developers who did the famed Black on PS2, is that right? Apparently, Bodycount isn't nearly as good but it should prove fun regardless. Can't go wrong with shooting stuff. And, Tom Clancy's Hawx 2 because, well, if I already have the Platinum on the first one, may as well get in on the second one. All of them were bought from eStarland's website. Took on the opportunity of that $30 off they had on any purchases over $100. They all came in great condition. Hawx 2 came in a black box, though. Like, I wasn't expecting that. Not sure if it's its original box but it looks fine anyway. GTA IV:TCE is missing its manual, but that's okay. All in all, a nice haul. The box needs a little Goo Gone to remove some sticker residue, but it's in otherwise great condition, complete with manual.
