theitdemon
Can anyone give me any tips / help on how to get gold times on the time trials? I have got the one for Belgium but can't get close on the others. It is the last trophy I need for platinum and would really like to get it. Many thanks in advance

chrisjohnson93
I found 1 or 2 easy, it's about using the boosts at the right time and using the shortcuts
Skippy
I finished this off today. Just do it a track at a time and keep going until you get it. The more you race on the same track the better you'll get and eventually you'll beat the time. Patience is key

DeadStanley
A couple of tricks I've used include: 1. On some routes travelling through the pit-stop may be a quicker option. In particular I was having trouble losing speed on hard turns that had no KERs. In those cases I found the pit stop to be easier. Maybe a little longer, but I didn't lose speed. 2. Ignore your first lap. Save your boost until the end of the lap and use it just as you're about to cross the finish line. You'll consume the boost, get a "head start" on the next lap and then be granted a boost for starting a new lap. Also, if you feel you're not going to earn a gold on the lap then repeat this step for each additional lap. 3. If you're going up onto a boost chain (series of red boost pads) and you have an opportunity to start it with a KERs boost, aim to get a red/full KERs boost as it will carry through the boost chain.

Incognito_D
I just got the gold on Belgum but I couldn't connect to RaceNet to upload the time. Does it matter? It feels like the game didn't record my time at all. I'd like to know before I spend a lot of time going for the rest of the golds...
Nodnarb95SE
You only need to upload one time trial for Ecto-won, the rest can be done offline.

Thanks - I got the time trial trophies today and I can confirm that the game is keeping track, even if it seems like it isn't 👍
