Its kinda scary to see the final total. Like you buy things mostly for cheap and it’s still a really large number at the end. I’m scared to see my own total, its exactly why I’m waiting to calculate everything at the end of 2020.

Tracking games you bought doesn't have to scare you, because you spend your money for an experience and entertainment. .

I see it the opposite way.
When I track my list, it gives me the control at any time to decide
can I buy more, less or when to stop buying games until the next month begins.

This is how I see it, when a sale comes and I think should I buy any of these games that I might want to play later, I then look at my list of what I bought already and see what I still have left to play. It helps me decide to hold off and if I really want it later for some reason, it's just a bit more money or wait until it drops in price more.

Almost all the game time I had in May was monopolised by Snowrunner but after countless hours of hard graft I got the platinum. While it's nice to have completed the most expensive game of last month it wasn't even about trophies or expenditure. I was completely addicted and that game was getting done!

 

A few surprise sales popped up throughout the month that I couldn't pass up & impulse buying followed. Got off kind of lightly in the end but no idea where I'm going to put all these new boxes from the physical haul...

Finished beating Death Stranding finally and about 2 chapters away from getting the platinum for FF7R. After I finish FF7R, I'll be starting one of the Lego games before TLOU2 comes in. I randomly have one of the Deponia parts on PS4, so I decided to start playing them on there by buying the first part. Played the first part on PC before.

 

I think I'll be done for a while with buying games, unless something on my wishlist is a really good deal. Haven't bought this many games as soon as they came out in a long time (3). Hopefully I can play more games on this list after I finish TLOU2. Still planning on playing another Yakuza game this year.
