Richtoon
Have anyone seen the new Sony’s first car on CES 2020? Avatar_Of_Battle
Would it have a different list for each region though? Would it have a difficulty trophies? Highways are bronze, deserts are silvers, and ice roads golds? Would it have remastered lists if they release a new version every year?
DaivRules
https://www.theverge.com/2020/1/6/21054270/sony-vision-s-electric-concept-car-ev-announcement-ces-2020 It's interesting to see how many aspects of an automobile Sony is already involved in manufacturing or developing. It'd be great to see Playstation installation options (PS4/PS5) in the back seats with those monitors on the back of the front seats. Trophies for driving would be interesting, it basically was built out in Near so why not?
Sinastran
Considering how Sony handles their product placement, it'll be interesting to see entire populations drive nothing but this car in their upcoming movies. As long as there are soul-crushingly grindy trophies for stopping at cross-walks and using your damn blinkers before you turn, I'm happy.
DesmaBR
Stop at red lights 10000 times in a row Accident rate down to zero At least until I finish grinding that trophy, lol Edited January 7, 2020 by DesmaBR
Bloodytears1666
I want it so hard, would go for platinum, even if trophies like lose cops, and win Nürburgring 24 required. Quote 400kW (536hp) of power through an all-wheel-drive system powered by two electric motors. This allows 0-100km/h (0-62mph) acceleration of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 240km/h (149mph).
Sir_Bee
What if instead of locations, you earned trophies by obeying traffic laws? Drive 10,000km without speeding. Used turn signal correctly 5000 times in a row. Stopped at 5000 consecutive red lights.

That's the great idea, make obeying traffic rules into fun challenge.

Sounds great on paper, but no reason to keep going after you get those

Or you can make the numbers as your average person would do over the life of that vehicle for the platinum.

Well, in the words of Sponge Bob, "Good luck with that" Damn, Porsche is like a star, and Sony car seems more likely mass production close to poor peasants, such I am.

Would be a wonderful thing to see happen.

Sir_Bee
Sure. but if your car has the technology to track stopping at red lights or not, it doesn't matter if you already have the trophy, it can report you when you inevitably fail

Beyondthegrave07
I'm cool with the idea as long as it's an identical list to Burnout Paradise.
AK-1138
Imagine the Ratalaika car... you'd get the platinum simply doing mundane preparation stuff like opening the door, putting on a seatbelt, turning the ignition, etc. They'd all be gold trophies, naturally. If they really wanted to make an effort they'd at least require you to actually drive for a few minutes.
