Glitched chest in Zeffo

In tomb of miktrull there is a chest covered in vines (BD - 1 Sumi skin), that you meant to burn away by activating the gravity switch on he bridge above, and then yeeting a lantern down.

i activated the switch and 2 lanterns appeared, but after a few failed attempts to burn the vines, the lanterns stopped coming through. I tried resting and leaving the tomb but still when i turn on the switch no lanterns appear.

Any ideas?

I did it! Its still glitched but i managed to bring a lantern from the other side by force pushing it upwards to the broken bridge, then going all the way around it, picking it up and force freezing it so i can do the jumps and then threw it down to the vines

On the bridge nearby, where you find the robot thing, you will find behind him a lantern which you can force push into the vines. It's not glitched: this is the proper way to get this chest.

 

I don't know how you done it but I suspect you found a harder, and unintended method ?
