Quick Play Classic Trophies?

Can anyone confirm if trophies can be unlocked in Quick Play Classic mode? Jeff Kaplan confirmed Blizzard was looking into it in September and I haven't found anything since.

Unfortunately, you can't get trophies in Quick Play Classic mode.

 

The reason they haven't implemented trophies in Quick Play Classic mode since Jeff made that Reddit post in September is because Blizzard is a small indie company. They can't handle all that work. They have very tiny team and small pool of resources.

 

Hopefully they are able to overcome these insurmountable challenges and implement trophies in Classic Quick Play.

This is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.

 

First of all, Blizzard has 4000+ employees under their name, second, Blizzard is owned by Activision. Officially, ‘Activision Blizzard’ is the entire entity, so they’re far from being indie but another so-called ‘AAA’ game company, Blizzard hasn’t been the ‘indie’ studio it looked to be for many years. They have mandates to fulfill by Activision.

 

With all due respect to Jeff, he just lied, Blizzard isn’t ‘indie’ anymore.

This is taken from an article : Essentially, QuickPlay Classic is just Overwatch before the addition of Role Queue as a mandatory part of all their game modes. It is now located in the Arcade portion of the game and contains all the features of "classic" Overwatch that you enjoyed⁠—namely, being able to select whatever hero you wanted to play in a match.

 

So it means I don't  have to wait 15 minutes anymore just to play a DPS hero? YA-HOO!

Just stunned a soldier doing this ult with mcree in arcade and it didnt pop any know what heros i need to do it on

Try on Roadhog, Mercy, Reaper, Genji, Bastion, Moira, Sigma. Soldier should work too but if he ain't shooting when his Ult is active, the flashbang won't count.

I got it easiest vs a Roadhog since their Ult can be very easily stunned.

I don't think it counts on Soldier at all. His ultimate isn't cancelled by a stun, it keeps going after the stun duration is over. I don't think it counts on Mercy, Genji or Bastion either.

 

Roadhog is the easiest to get it on, because he's massive and leaves himself wide open during his ultimate. Reaper is probably second since he'll be ulting right next to you, although you'll only have a second to react if you aren't being healed.

Yes you are right, my bad. If the Ult is a transformation mode, the flashbang won't count.

Roadhog is the best bet overall. Eventually another McCree if you can catch him.

Stunning soldier won't stop his ult. He'll still have his ult afterwards

I get some Trophies back in may in this mode. But i wanna know that to not waste my Time😅

Sorry to bump an old thread. 

 

But can you still achieve trophies in Quick Play Classic? I'm going for Rapid Discord and I've already tried for 40+ hours in regular quick play so I'm wanting to see if classic yields any better results.

Do you still boost the Overwatch trophies? I need help with some of the DLC trophies 😥
