DarkLordSHTR
According to sources of trusted horror games news site Rely on Horror, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Konami are working on two new Silent Hill games. The first of these is being developed by SIE Japan Studio, and the team includes Silent Hill director and writer Keiichiro Toyama, 1999, composer Akira Yamaoka and creature designer Masahiro Ito. It is stated that the game will be soft reboot. So it's not directly remastered or remake, but rather like refreshing the series. An example of this is the God of War game released for PlayStation 4 in 2018. The other is Kojima Productions' project to revive the canceled Silent Hills game. According to the sources of Rely on Horror Sony Interactive Entertainment; Kojima is trying to melt the ice between Productions and Konami. Prior to that, AestheticGamer, who leaked information about the Resident Evil 3 remake and Resident Evil 7 downloadable content Not a Hero, claimed that Konami was working on two Silent Hill games. AestheticGamer has suggested that one of these games will be released in soft reboot and the other will be released in Telltale and Until Dawn episodes. Then Konami said, "At this point, we cannot share anything, but we listen to users' feedback and consider ways to ensure the next game." they said.

Conor
If Silent Hills is coming back, I hope they bring back PT as well, never got to play it! Wishful thinking, I know...
SnowxSakura
this has been debunked https://www.siliconera.com/konami-says-new-silent-hill-game-rumors-are-false/ Edited March 24, 2020 by SnowxSakura
Intoner_Zero
Can't say I'm disappointed as the rumor details sounded too shady. Having 2 new titles seemed a bit much and if Konami wanted to gage interest for SH, they should have gone on the remastered route for some of the older games. DarkLordSHTR
The first details of Dead by Daylight's new Silent Hill package appeared. With the package, characters like Pyramid Head and Heather Mason are added to the game. There is also a new map. I think Konami is testing something. They want to know if the Silent Hill brand can still make money. Because their only purpose seems to be easy money.
