How to Get Rank 2, 3 and 4 Field Explorer (Science Experiments)

To get some upgrades in the 3d printer. You are going to complete the Science Experiments. Here's how to complete Rank 2, 3 and 4 Field Explorer.

 

How to Get Rank 2 Field Explorer

 

1. Gather live samples from Pufferbird, Baboushka and Pikemander.
2. Kill 4 creatures with a single Alpha Pufferbird detonation.
3. Fall 50 meters and save yourself with Jump thrusters.
4. Kill 5 ground creatures while they are airborne. 

 

 

How to Get Rank 3 Field Explorer

 

1. Gather live samples from Kapyena, Jellywaft and Infected Pufferbird.
2. Hit 2 creatures with the acid burst from a single dying Prime Jellywaft.
3. Kill 4 creatures while they are stuck in Binding Bile within 3 seconds. 
4. Kill 3 amber-armered Pufferbirds with a single Bombegranate.

 

 

How to Get Rank 4 Field Explorer

 

1. Gather samples from Slamphibian, Schnozo and Imperial Scarab.
2. Kill 5 creatures with a single Charge Shot.
3. Kill 4 creatures while they are shocked by lightning within 3 seconds.
4. Kill 10 creatures in a row using only melee attacks and without getting hurt.

You can only shock 3 at once with the base upgrade and because you need to do 4 fast and so close together, it can get tricky

 

I top up on shock fruit from last boss area, then shock the 4 near the ship.

 

Its tricky because the shock fruit tends to keep locking onto and shocking the same 3, so I just group them, then move in a circle around shocking a few times, then shoot them and hope for the best

 

Its tricky due to its nature, there is nothing really that can help I dont think.

 

Just try grouping those 4 near the ship, strafe in a circle around shocking, then shoot and hope for the best. I usually use about 3 shocks at a time b4 I shoot to make sure, thats how it worked for me anyway.

 

Group, strafe, shock x 3/4, then shoot, fingers crossed.;)

You can spam the shock fruit a couple of times and then kill the pufferbirds quickly.
