Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 3 The Outer Worlds So having finished the Outer Worlds I'm left in this weird place. I liked the game, but for some reason that I can't put my finger on, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would early on. The game looks great, and plays great. Everything felt smooth and buttery and the level up system and perk system was more dynamic than most other open world games that I have played. The story was also enjoyable, placing what felt like real decisions on the player, having an interesting twist, but ultimately a pidgeon-holed "good" ending. I really enjoyed the initial tale of emerald vale, and what happened with the corporate policy the decision of where to divert power and the ultimate consequences of your actions. Some of the side quests also gave me a good chuckle like the Sublight Quests and the diet toothpaste castastrophe. On the flip-side, The companions all felt a bit dry, besides maybe Nyoka and Parvati and even then there isn't that much to Parvati. Nothing as nuanced as say the Mass Effect party members. The trophies also somewhat felt like a chore. Specifically the do X combat related thing a certain number of times: Sneak Attacks, Plasma Weapon Kills, N-Rays, Tossball Stick, Etc. It all amounted to about 20 minutes of just mindlessly smacking and shooting enemies until they popped. The Choice between the Iconoclast and MSI also felt lacking. There wasn't really that much interesting to them besides the thing about Graham and even that didn't save what felt like was supposed to be the big choice in the game. That being said, these all feel like relatively minor things in the grand scheme of things. Despite all that though, I still think I would recommend it to someone who likes things like Fallout. There's enough here to be worth playing even if it wouldn't win any game of the year awards for me. 7.1/10 Anyways here's an updated list of whats left J Star Victory Vs+ 0/50 0% Mass Effect Andromeda 1/56 1% The Outer Worlds 49/49 100% Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order 0/40 0% Everspace 0/34 0% Edited April 13, 2020 by Together_Comic
Popular Post AuroraHistoire
Both Punny & A Kick in the Feels ~ King's Quest: The Complete Collection Kings Quest is a nice little episodic point & click puzzle game. There is no actual actual pointing & clicking but I feel like it's close enough. There are occasional quick time events. You are able to make choices on your adventures and your choices occasionally have consequences. King's Quest is a story of a old king named Graham telling stories of his past adventures to his granddaughter, Gwendolyn. Telling stories is his favorite past time since he can no longer leave the castle and go on adventures because of cor- because he's too old. In the game, you control the action in the stories via adventure game gameplay while your decisions impact the story that takes place in the present. The game play consists of walking around, looting anything that nailed down and storing it your cape with lots of pockets, using on items on everything until something works, solving puzzles, dying, talking to people, the occasional quick time event and making decisions that have consequences. King's quest is mostly about the puzzles though. They're all well designed and challenging but never felt too unfair. I really enjoyed the story. It had really good jokes and characters. There is an is a-pun-dance of puns, so you better enjoy puns. I promise they're a lot more punny then I am. There are plenty of emotional moments and I cried a few times. The trophy list in the game is quite fun. Unlike those other episodic games from a certain developer, Kings Quest has missable trophies and no platinum, yay. A lot of the trophies require being filled with determination to do the same action many times until you get a trophy. There are a few for finding unique ways to die. There is also that one for winning a staring contest that gave severe anxiety. Popular Post MidnightDragon
I completed Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry on both PS3 and PS4. No real reason for doing both. Just felt like it. If not for the PITA multiplayer, I’d double Black Flag as well.

To people who put off FFVII because it's only the Midgard section of the game, let me assure you that Square turned 4-5 hours of the original game(about 10% of the whole game), and they turned it into a full fledged 35-40 hour experience that feels like its own game. The content that was added flows nicely, and nothing feels tacked on although there were two moments where I thought certain sections dragged on for slightly too long. The ending feels like an actual ending to a game instead of feeling like there's still 90% of a game to go. There is absolutely no reason to not play FFVIIR in its current from. As for God of War II which I was planning to complete before FFVII, I could've done it, but I just didn't feel like playing anything at that time despite loving the series to death. That's all fine since I'll have a bit of April and the entirety of May left to go once I finish FFVIIR.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
Unlocked the second evil Bomber I need for the Super Bomberman R plat. Three to go. I am able to get some gems online, but it's still a really slow process. I don't like microtransactions, but almost wish this game had it for this. And no tracker, so not sure how close I am for the 1,000,000 blocks and bombs. Think I'm going to be done gaming for today.

Popular Post dark_moon689
Update 5: Got Psycho Pass done, it was an interesting visual novel at least the first two times, by the 5th playthrough even with all the text skipping it felt like it was taking forever and the additional endings in my opinion barely have any difference between them. Sure some stood out a bit more, but I feel it is the issue I personally have with these games in general the additional playthroughs are way too similar to be enjoyable and the slog to get to the few unique scenes buried in each one is not really worth the trouble playing a second time much less a fifth time, not to mention all the backtracking if you want to avoid a few additional full playthroughs. I will however be checking the anime eventually, as I did enjoy the concept/story in general but not too soon as the game is still too fresh in my mind. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Been a month so I figured it's time to drop in again and let you lovely people know that I'm still aliveand what's up. I've actually been home the last few weeks already, first my therapist got himself some covid-19 and then they closed the whole thing down because they were running out of space for new patients of said pandemic. So instead of seeing a trained person daily I'm now speaking to a trained person on the telephone daily, and it's not the same, not at all. That's why I'm abusing @Fnee2000 and @Emina both of them been so kind and offered a helping hand, I'll owe them more than a drink someday! I've also thought about getting myself back into the mix, but to be honest currently I'm pretty much gaming for the sake of not only lying in my bed. There's no joy or anything, I've tried some games, but I'm just doing the easy games now and go back to staring at my homescreen not knowing what to start. Since I'm home I have to take more meds, I can't sleep otherwise. It might help against the more darker things going through my mind, but it's kinda making anything dull and boring :/ But it's a long road and I'm not gonna stop anymore because there's one bump on the way. This guy is going to be healthy and proud of himself again, and he's going to enjoy life again! See you next month for off topic annoyance with Jay

Popular Post Copanele
Thursday update: 1. Tekken 7 - 100% 2. Dragon's Dogma(PS3) - 100% 3. One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 - 100% 4. Alice : Madness Returns - 3% -> 46% 5. Mini Ninjas - 2% 6. Lords of the Fallen - 6% One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 - 11% Swaps used : 2/2 So I got 2 updates so far : Alice : Madness Returns - as expected, I greatly enjoy this game. It's everything I remember and more, I love the story, the setting, even the first game despite being a mess gameplaywise I still liked. Madness Returns is the game to go though. So far I am in the third world (Oriental themed one) and I can't have enough of the ambiental music there. New Swap : Lords of the Fallen So, initially I wanted to do One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. But since PW2 absolutely demoralized me, combined with the fact that PW3 is TWICE AS LONG....yeah no. Screw that game. Since I am going Souls mode lately, let's do the trashy ripoff called Lords of the Fallen. It's faster to complete too at least. Doubt it would pose any shred of challenge but oh well!

Detroit: Become Human (PS4) - 66% 8. Dreamfall Chapters (PS4) - 23% ➡️ 38% 9. Donut County (PS4) - 0% Swaps used - 2/2 Finished Root Letter today. I found it a charming little mystery VN that suffered a bit from following Zero Escape on my list. I loved the art work and the soundtrack and the premise was fresh. All the characters backstories and ongoing career struggles provided some nice real world moral stuff as well. Their persistent "deny all knowledge" attitude did wear me out though. But I've got ALL this stuff proving you know something. Alongside a bit of progression with Dreamfall, I've been digging up a fair bit from my backlog. Now seems about the right time to finish Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. I'm really glad I revisited it tonight actually, I forgot how stunning it is! As well as that, I was a big Silent Hill fan so I'm going to try and get the platinum in #3. I've played #2 a lot more than #3 and more recently to, plus #3 looks to be easier to plat (wimp). If I finish Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and one of Detroit or Dreamfall, I can make Silent Hill 3 my 50th platinum. Niceee. I treated myself to Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair today to keep the Vita rolling. I'm desperate to add it to my list to make a round 10 but I'll be sensible and get Detroit finished 1st at least, plus see how I go with my non list. Wary I've used both swaps to. Hope everyone's as well as they can be.
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Another update from me. I finished my first playthrough of Uncharted 3. I played the game once when it came out but I almost didn't remember anything from that time, so it was nice to play it again. The next thing to do is a speedrun as Donut Drake, which is a bit ridiculous and funny. Then I'll go for the brutal playthrough. My Two Point hospital game got deleted again so no progress on that. I now deleted the update, maybe that will help. Not sure if I'll be able to finish the game like this before the end of the challenge. It's really frustrating to make progress and have it been deleted, but as it's been some days my frustration has calmed a bit. If I can't finish the game before the end of the challenge I'll change it for an easier game so I can finish the challenge. I decided to change Patapon Remastered for Sekiro: Shadows die twice. I started the game up again and actually made some good progress on it. I really enjoy it although sometimes it can be frustrating. When you finally finish off that boss it's really nice. If everything goes as planned, Sekiro will be my 100th platinum trophy 1. Blackwood Crossing - 0% —> 100% Platinum date 05-03-2020 2. One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 - 100% 4. Alice : Madness Returns - 100% 5. Mini Ninjas - 2% 6. Lords of the Fallen - 6% Alice Madness Returns is finally completed, a game that I can't recommend enough. Both of them are super good and atmospheric games (despite the first one being janky most of the time), it's the kind of psychological horror that I love. Especially the various worlds and themes (completed with Alice's dresses). Seriously, big like to the designers of this game. Only 2 games left on the list : Mini Ninjas (super easy and super cute) and Lords of the Fallen (a trash game that I will complete regardless). I doubt I will add any other game on this list, I am not that eager to play them tbh Must be the quarantine life.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
Got a wild hair up my ass tonight and decided to do the Xtreme Dirt Tour in NASCAR Heat 3. To make it easier on myself, I set the AI to easy and the race length to lowest possible. Only one track was really a challenge since it wasn't a small oval. The handling is a bit iffy, but I got better. In the end, I got all of the trophies related to dirt track racing and a couple other career mode trophies.
Popular Post Fnee2000
A well overdue update... So, I haven't provided an update on my run at this event. I apologize for that. I kept telling myself, I will put an update done after I finish this next game. Then I said it again, and again, and again... Here we are a month and a half in and I am just now getting my first update out. Anyway, I had a fairly productive month of March. I was able to finish off 5 games. I started the month of March with FarCry 4 and I was bored to tears playing that game. It just wasn't interesting at all and the DLC didn't change that. Then I hopped on my Vita and finally got around the charming little Tearaway. While I don't think it has the staying power of Little Big Planet, it was a fun little adventure to go through one time. Next it was finally time to complete a game that I have been carrying with me through a few of these backlog challenges. Also another LEGO game to cross off my list. I fully finished LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham! It wasn't as long as I was thinking it was. My final clock time was just under 25 hours after all the DLC. It just felt like I was doing a lot of legwork with all those fetch quests. The next two games I completed weren't games I liked very much, so little will be said about them. Bear With Me was a ho hum point and click game and Sea of Solitude turned into a buggy trophy nightmare for me. I also booted up and worked on Skyrim some. Though, after 5-6 hours of playing, I didn't feel like I accomplished much. I still have a lot to do in that game. I started April off with a bang getting the platinum in Minecraft on PS4 (which I swapped out Wattam for) then proceeded to finish off all of the DLC. Then I also did a little racer called Truck Racer that wasn't.... good. It was very simple and easy and didn't offer much challenge at all. There were no difficulty settings to make it more of a challenge either. The latest game I finished up was inFamous 2 which was a milestone on two fronts. First, it was the final game I needed to finish to complete all five infamous games. Second, it was platinum number 550! I enjoyed the infamous games. Didn't like being forced to do two playthroughs but at least Hard mode wasn't hard at all. So, you are now all caught up to what I have accomplished in the past month and a half. I will try to update a little sooner next time. I have a month and a half to finish off the remaining 5 games on my list. However, Skyrim is one of them... Game Sys. Start % Current % Comp. Now I need to go and get some of the side bosses done, clean up some of the manuscripts (for bonus skill points) and then clean up the remaining stuff I need. I think i'm done with the big time consuming stuff now. I might have the platinum for this by this evening if i knuckle down and focus. The game looks so much better than what it used to be and it was fun to go through this game again since it's been quite a while since I last played it. Kinda wish they brought back the multiplayer for it too but this is perfectly fine. As for the trophy list it was pretty easy, easier than the original MW2 since this time around I don't have to deal with Spec Ops Missions, so that's a plus. Hoping we even get a MW3 Campaign remaster in the future but who knows, i'm just glad I picked this up and got the platinum for it. With that I beat one of my goals, and that is completing half of my list! YAY, I DIDN'T FAIL!! I'm gonna try to complete at least another 5 more before the event ends next month and I know it's doable with the games that are on my list, but right now a game that's not on my list a top prioity right now since I want it to be done(......F##KING BLOONS TD5).
Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: I am loving FF7R, not playing it too fast as I want to savour the experience. About to finish my nightmare RE3R run, while I love the game I am finding the trophy requirements (playthroughs on difficulties to unlock the following difficulty) exteremely tedious and it's starting to sap my enjoyment. I spent a few hours with Children of Morta too, it's a nice distraction. I think over the coming week I'll finish RE3R and play a bit more of FF7R, I would like to play more Wastelands 2 but every time I load up I am faced with all the missables and decide to close the application - at one point I'll just bite the bullet and do it. My completion percentage is finally looking up. I'd love to hit 50% after this challenge. However I caved in and got PS NOW subscription so I'll probably be playing a lot of off list games potentially lowerering that. Gaming is pretty much my sanity lifeline at the moment, a lot of colleagues at work have been confirmed to have Covid-19 and there have been patient deaths and a few local staff deaths So I'm not going to beat myself up for straying too far from self imposed constraints for my gaming challenges as gaming helps me decompress. On the positive side, the pandemic has brought the best out of lots of people and I am so proud of my team and my country men during this time. Hope everyone is safe and well x. Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update #7: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 100% God of War II (PS3) - 38% => 71% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 24% => 57% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 100% (Knack (PS4) - 0%)/Final Fight: Double Impact (PS3) - 0% => 30% Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (PS3) - 0% Swaps: 1/2 Made some progress here and there and started up another game from my list. Not bad progress considering I "finished" 3 games. GOW II: Finished my first run and the Challenge of the Titans. I have to do one more run to clean up what I missed. Spyro 2: Also finished up the story here. I think I have one more world to 100% and get the misc. trophies. FF: DI: Final Fight is completely done. Got everything done in the Vault for it. The Vault gives some cool artworks, comics and even a Final Fight cartoon for beating stages under a certain time, amount of death/continues and beating it with different characters. First time I played the game it was harder than I remembered and thought how will I complete it under 18 continues then I realized I can put the game on easy. This has brought back some great memories, a random player even joined and helped me out (I thought for sure the online would be dead). Still got Magic Sword to play. I wanted to start Army of Two also this weekend but Challenge of the Titans (GOW II) took way longer than I hoped it would. Anyway, that's my update. I'll keep going at it. Hope everyone is safe and well. Keep those updates coming.
Popular Post Stanners316
Update #8: 1. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (PS Vita) - (6th March) 2. RiME (PS4) - (11th March) 3. South Park: The Fractured But Whole (PS4) - (30th March) 4. Zero Escape: VLR (PS Vita) - (5th April) 5. Shenmue (PS4) - (8th April) 6. Root Letter (PS Vita) - (16th April) 7. Detroit: Become Human (PS4) - 66% (18th April) 8. Dreamfall Chapters (PS4) - 38% 46% 9. Donut County (PS4) - 0% Swaps used - 2/2 The rainy day(s) finally came so I was able to finish off Detroit. It's not often you can say that your favourite play-through of a game was your last one, but that was the case here. Some of my favourites scenes I only got to see during my last playthrough so it's a bit of a shame that most who play the game may not see them. There's also some intense QTEs that make you wish someone else was pressing the buttons so you could sit back and watch. The most satisfying part for me was watching Hank and Connor's relationship progress after butchering it in previous runs. I'm a big fan of "moments" in games (think giraffes in TLOU) and I think there's a few underrated ones in here, particularly rope climbing to the top of the TV tower (atmosphere, music, cinematics). I was tending to agree with the 70%ish reviews until my last playthrough, but in my opinion, it has to be nearer 80%, and in asking us who our favourite character was at the end, there's hope of a Connor / Hank spin off. I'm continuing to leave my list at 9. I'm going to start Silent Hill 3 this evening and rather than begin Danganronpa:GD, I've chosen to have a good crack at Persona 4 Golden. I've also ticked off Everybody's gone to the Rapture and Home from my over 30% backlog. Keeping occupied... Take care everyone!
