I wasn't really feeling playing the games on this list and I started working on other games that have been on my backlog for years. I completed Infamous Second Son, Far Cry 4, and made some progress on Plants vs. Zombies (vita). Regarding the games on this list, The Gardens Between was a really great puzzler that was nice and relaxing during this time. I highly recommend it if you can get it on sale (and it has a platinum). Along with the relaxing atmosphere, I absolutely love the Glass Masquerade series and this game came at the perfect time. I am slowly making progress. The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been quite hard for me to play recently because it is so dark and no matter what decision you make it's not right. Just not the type of game I want to play right now. I am pushing through however and completing the episodes one at a time (usually one a week). Keep it up everyone, only one month left! We got this! ?
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update #10: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 100% God of War II (PS3) - 71% => 100% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 100% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 100% Knack (PS4) - 0% Final Fight: Double Impact (PS3) - 100% Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (PS3) - 79% => 100% Well both GOW and AoT wrapped up. Not much game time on the weekend tho. GOW II: With each entry I love the GoW games more and more (too bad I almost finished them all ). I just had to do an extra/quick run for a couple of stuff I missed in the first go. AoT: TDC: I had a few hours of grind left in the game. Nothing too hard, just repetitive. I don't play these type of games often but it was really fun. Visceral sure knew how to make great games. It's too bad about the fate of that studio. All that's left is Knack... but right now I'm playing Two Point Hospital. I still have 4 hospitals left to go, so I don't know if I'll start Knack before finishing that but it should be pretty soon either way. The final push is upon us. Keep safe y'all!
Popular Post Litha
Update #4: The Last of Us: Remastered (PS4) - 42% ➡️ 75% [43/50] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (PS4) - 100% [15/15] LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 (PS4) - 0% [0/76] God of War (PS3) - 0% [0/36] Dark Souls: Remastered (PS4) - 5% [4/41] Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) - 0% [0/77] Jotun (PS4) - 0% [0/37] Finished up the Easy+ playthrough for The Last of Us, in turn getting all of the collectibles out of the way. Of course they're glitchy as nobs, so I ended up getting the trophy for all collectibles before specific collectible trophies. I'm a little upset because I ended without enough parts to fully upgrade my weapons, so I'm going to have to do a real Speedy McFastboy half-playthrough on Easy++ (oh boy) to finish that up. After that it's two more playthroughs on Grounded and Grounded+ to unlock the rest of the trophies. I love this game, but dear god I can't wait for this to be over. For now I'm going to be moving on to God of War before coming back to TLOU a little fresher to avoid complete burnout. I'll alternate these two games with LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 to keep things from getting stale. All going well I should have these three done by the end of the event, moving Dark Souls and Jotun over to the Summer event (I can't really be bothered with Dragon Age for now). In the meantime I need to get back on to my trophy checklist, as I've neglected that for some time now. I've also been playing the original Assassin's Creed on XBox 360, given that the PS3 version doesn't have trophies. It's bringing back quite a few memories and I'm having a great time with it. Stay distinctly not deceased everyone and have a good time of things! Edited May 5, 2020 by SpaghettiGrabsy
Popular Post MICSAM89
Update 3: Over the weekend I finally finished Uncharted Lost Legacy crushing play through and the miscellaneous left over trophies getting the platinum and the 100% making it my first completed game for this challenge. The crushing playthough was alot less enjoyable because Nadine was awfully clumsy and would always get in the way with a light breeze killing you it did get frustrating, but still probably my favourite Uncharted game. You control a hole, making stuff fall in it, which makes the hole bigger. The story and characters are fun, it's just satisfying to play and made me happy. A little on the short side but it's half price. Pick it up, pick it up. I finished the end of Dreamfall Chapters. It's a shame the rest of the series isn't available on PS. I played the Longest Journey on PC what seems like another life ago, I literally have 2 memories of it. I didn't realise until looking it up half way through that this was the crowdfunded 3rd game of that series. It's worked in a way that it can be played as a standalone I guess, but there's references to stuff you feel you should know, even though that blends in with stuff that's meant to be confusing anyway. Confusing in a good way though, Never ending story type confusion. The use of "light" and "goddess" as general curse words seems so natural and is a touch of genius by the way. Kind of looking forward to the 2nd run, kind of. I've added My Big Sister for the Vita to make the list 10. I've enjoyed Home and Without Escape recently and it looks similar. Winding down now so I can have a break between this and the summer event. Hope everyone's still keeping well. Good luck with the final push! Popular Post Fnee2000
Update time... How are you doing? Me, well ya know... Was stranded in Skyrim since we last saw each other. After 165 hours, I finally found my way out and 100% completed that game (for the third time Xbox 360, PC, now PS4). While I enjoy playing that game, I think I am finally done after this third run through. I got the bug on the final boss of the Dragonborn DLC that took me a while to figure out (with the help of what other people did, of course). Anyway, I decided to delve deep into my backlog of unfinished games for my next Platinum. I am currently going through Dead Space, a game which I started back in 2009. It has been just as long of a time since I originally went through the game on Xbox 360 (yeah, I was more of an Xbox player last generation). Just as atmospherically scary as it was when I played it back then. When I finish up Dead Space, that will leave me with three games left on my list to complete. Will have to see if I can get them done before the end of the month. Well, that is it for now. Good to see you are all doing well. Have to go deal with some jump scares now... Game Sys. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update time for me! Knocking out both Dream Daddy and Deliver us the Moon as platinum 144 and 145 respectively. Dream Daddy was a really pleasant and funny Visual Novel, I streamed it a few times, but then ended up playing it with my girlfriend on our sofa regularly. It's honestly a really sweet and heartfelt game with a wicked sense of humour. It's also a super easy platinum. If you went for it, the only real challenge would be the mini-golf and match-3 fishing game which can take a while to practice. Other than that, it's amazingly chilled and relaxing to go through. Deliver us the Moon was an awesome game and it officially marks the first game I popped a platinum while streaming for. It's a really enjoyable science fiction adventure that sees earth on the brink of destruction and a last ditch attempt to restart the machine that transports much needed energy from the Moon. There are a bunch of twists along the way and I especially loved the game mechanics revolving around your little robot friend who follows you around like a really lovely (and silent) version of Wheatley from Portal 2. I made a little more progress on Yakuza 5 as well, I'm basically moving myself to the point in the story where I can access all of the characters to be able to clean up the 100% minigames/food/combat etc completion stat. Then after that i'll move onto the ultimate battles, and finally the Legendary mode difficulty run. I also started playing Danganronpa which is such a surprisingly wonderful visual novel/adventure/crime solving genre-mash. It's been a blast so far. I'm also going to be starting in on Darksiders: Genesis, Draugen & Life is Strange soon. Stay safe everyone! Having the 5 toll and beating other meanwhile. I'm adding 4 more games, which can be completed in very few days and are just there in my backclog and I didn't notice. Really want to get rid off them ASAP. Popular Post MidnightDragon
I found out an easy way to grind out the gems I needed in Super Bomberman R. I was a bit annoyed since I wish I had known about it sooner. It would've saved me some time. That being said, helped me make progress towards the block/bomb and local multiplayer grind, so not a total loss. I unlocked the remaining three evil Bombers and won with them to get a trophy. Still have the 1,000 local and 1,000,000 blocks and bombs to go. However, I made progress on all three. Sadly, no tracker to see how close I am. Popular Post EPICRAGE
I had a fairly productive weekend. I finished off Welcome to Hanwell which I started last week but didn't have time to play during the week. Of course the game had to glitch out on me at the end which made me have to replay the last segment three times before I was able to get access to free roam. It ended up being a blessing in disguise though as I had missed 5/100 collectibles during my playthrough and I would have had to spend some time searching for them but due to replaying the final segment three times it counted the collectibles in the last segment several times so I ended the game with 106/100 and I was able to unlock the trophy without hunting down the remaining five. I moved on to Without Escape which was an extremely easy platinum which only took about 20 minutes. It was the first time in a while I turned on my Vita and I noticed I bought GhoulBoy last year at some point but never played it. I added it to my backlog and knocked it out in a few hours. It was a fun retro platformer and just what I was in the mood for. Popular Post DizzyDavidson
I was a bit tired last night after my gaming session to do an update but here it is now. Update #11: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 100% God of War II (PS3) - 100% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 100% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 100% Knack (PS4) - 0% => 8% Final Fight: Double Impact (PS3) - 100% Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (PS3) - 100% Most of last week I played Two Point Hospital but managed to wrap it up. It is an excellent game and definitely my GOTY (considering it's the only game I bought that came out this year it has no competition ). Towards the final levels there was an occasional lag and sometimes selecting an item didn't bring up the menu. I'm not sure if the latest patch caused it or that there are just too many things going on in those levels. The game is also very easy (for me), there are plenty of strategies out there to get by if you're struggling. Well with Two Point Hospital done (maybe I should have added the game to my list but I was taking my sweet time with it) I can now focus on my sole remaining game in this challenge, Knack. I started it last night and gone through 3 chapters. I really like it so far but it's definitely not a cakewalk even on "easy". That's right I started on easy and I hope to get everything done except playing it on the 2 hardest difficulties of course. I hope RNG will be on my side to get Diamond Knack and everything else. Three weeks left to wrap this thing up. Let's do it!

I finally got the platinum in Doom Eternal and also got 100% completion in both Entwined and Welcome Park. I won't say too much about the last 2 games other than Entwined was a tough one to get to 100% and Welcome Park was quick and easy but Doom Eternal was an absolute blast to play through. I still think I like the original game (2016) better but this was an awesome follow up that added so much to the game. It was such a beautiful game also and the only real downside to me is that the multiplayer was very disappointing. Shout out to RetroTidwell who helped boost the MP trophies for me. I have 2 more games to finish and I will finally be done with the challenge. Popular Post MidnightDragon
More work on the block and bomb trophies in Super Bomberman R today. Of course, I have no clue how close I really am to it. It's going to be a long and monotonous grind. I did make progress during story mode and going for other trophies, but still leaves me LOTS to do. However, that's all I have to do to plat it (there's one other, but should at least get close with the other trophies) and a sub 1% plat would be nice. I also listen to music and do other things to make it more bearable. To preserve the vestiges of my sanity, my plan is to do something else tomorrow, then I'll do some more Wednesday.
