Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Tiny mini update from me and my progress is a bit all over the place at the moment. I'm blaming Yakuza 5 and the Hall of Famer trophy, I've put quite a few hours into the game since the last update, but most of my progress has gone on in the meta of the game, working through all the mini-game / heat action / food etc requirements. Since the update I have caught all of the river fish i need for the River Fishing challenge, all batting center challenges, all the Sega-world mini game requirements. I'm focusing now on finishing up the Sea fishing (3 more fish types needed), then the gambling trophies, then the heat action stuff). It's weird, people seem to say it's the same length as Yakuza 0 to platinum, but this one is taking waaaay longer. Could just be me though. Still having fun though and i'm gonna be proud of this platinum. I'm planning on getting everything bar the legend difficulty trophy and then doing a full final run on stream to pop the plat live ? I started Darksiders Genesis and so far i'm having lots of fun with it, it's great to play as Strife (finally) but I think if we get another Darksiders game, i'd much rather it be back to the traditional gameplay style. My amazing discovery that is Danganronpa (I still can't believe it took me this long to try this franchise) is going nicely. I absolutely adore this game and can't wait to play all of the others. We got to the 4th chapter in Danganronpa 1, so nearly at the end of the main story. Then it's a question of going into school mode after to build some friendships and collect coins. Then after that, it's straight onto Danganronpa 2! Can't wait! Perfect! I'm glad I haven't given myself a moderate panic getting it all done in time. Should have really done that in education... My Big Sister (yep, I now know it's my big sister instead of my little sister ha) left me a little disappointed I'm afraid. I love those pixelated top-down games as a nice alternative to the usual, but I just didn't really enjoy it that much. The plot is a mix of dark humour and dark ritualistic stuff that never really gel. Oh my, the amount of text dialogue as well. I'm not an X basher either, I sat there and endured it. Positive points... the trophy list is quite fun and clever. I never use a guide for games like this on the 1st run, and I missed 65% of the trophies whilst being quite thorough. It's actually quite long as well, with a few different locations. Cheap as well. Ok ok, it could have been worse! Dreamfall Chapters is very much for existing fans of the series. However, I did enjoy it a lot and it suited some late night gaming/watching (mostly watching) nicely. Glad to have played it. My Spring Backlog awards: Spoiler Most memorable - Zero Escape (VLR) Most enjoyable - South Park: TFBW Most satisfying platinum - Danganronpa: THH Honourable mentions - Dreamfall Chapters / Donut County I'm currently re-visiting Alice Madness Returns on PS3 and I'm slowly finishing off The Curse of the Pharoahs DLC for AC: Origins. I recently bought Dreams as well so I'm looking forward to seeing how much I can get into it. Good luck everyone, keep safe and see you in the Summer!
Popular Post MidnightDragon
My torture grind continues. I decided to take today off from gaming entirely instead of yesterday. I will resume tomorrow, but have something else to do first. Also working on my summer list. Plan on having six games and have four figured out.
Popular Post StilRh
Midweek update: Finished Subnautica. What an amazing experience! I loved the exploration and development aspects when I first started I got lost in very shallow cave systems, towards the end of my 25+ hours I could navigate deep trenches with ease. I had a trophy glitch (building the Prawn suit) out but thankfully I could cheese it with the dev console, using the console blocked other trophies so in the end I use the console to help with those on a fresh save (I had gotten to end game anyways). I want to go back to the Forst for a similar experience now, but those multiplayer trophies are a big turn off. I continue to grind the combat trophies in Sakura wars and aim to plat the game before working tomorrow evening, but I'm being distracted by the Stellaris 2.2 update and Beat Saber (lock down cardio lol) so no promises. I really should return to FF7RE but the game is so good I don't want it to end (why I pause on a lot of JRPGs). Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I've updated, but here it is. I'm finally making progress on Two point hospital again and I haven't had any crashes or save corruptions after the last update! ? I've completed all the DLC levels and I'm now completing all the main game levels on 3 stars. It will still take me some days but then I should get the platinum. For Sekiro I made It to the last boss and once I beat him, I'll be able to get 3 of the 4 endings. After that I only need to do one more playthrough until I can get the platinum! I'm really hoping to finish before the end of the challenge so let's see. Still, 2 weeks to go! Good luck everyone! 1. Blackwood Crossing - 100% (March 5th) 2. Done 2+ runs already and Time/Coliseum Attack stages. Getting Diamond Knack was a pain but it sure was worth it. I'm at the end of my Hard playthrough right now with Diamond Knack while also collecting all treasure chests. It is quite manageable so far. I'm hoping Very Hard won't be a whole lot harder. I should be able to wrap everything up sometime next week.
Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 6.0.: New update! This week was busy, because I basically speedrun (at my pace) 3 of them, and was a huge challenge in itself. Anyways I did a proudly good progress at the moment, and I think I can manages really well the deadline and I could get at least a good amount of games from my backlog which were dauting me since long ago. Driveclub - 28%96% Ratchet and Clank - 0%100% LEGO Marvel's Super Heroes - 0%100% Final Fantasy XV - 33%63% Burly Men at Sea - 0%100% Foul Play - 0%100% Heavy Rain - 0%100% ---------------------------------------- God of War III Remastered - 0%; Completition date: May 27th Darksiders III - 0%; Completition date: May 15th Horizon Chase Turbo - 0%; Completition date: May 31st Doom Eternal (Unreleased) - 0%; Completition date: May 27th Swapped for: Wolfenstein Youngblood Final Fantasy VII (Original) - 0%; Completition date: April 30th Soma For the games, I can say that Burly Men was the less tedious, was relaxing and helped me to mind-up for the two followers. Then I played Foul Play. I fell in love with that one. Wasn't expecting to be a really good game. It's one of my favourite genres, and the game was wholly enjoyable. I wasn't expecting to finishing it so quick despite I was trying to taking breaks to enjoy the experience. Absolutely a memorable and underrated gem IMO. On the other hand, Heavy Rain. What I can say, but that the game itself drove me nuts because I felt it so awkward and awful at times, to say the least; it got me stressed about with all those QTEs and the lack of control from one as player over the game. I know the game has it's base, but personally, I can easily call it one of the worst games I ever played; didn't like the plot also. Never expected that would turn that way either. However the guide written in this site is outstanding; reliable, clever and well directed despite lacks a good lay out, but also is very logical when you analize it correctly and see how you can use it to your benefit. Now I can give me an idea what's behind Detroit: Become Human or Beyond: Two Souls. As I said, beat 3 games in the run but in this week I'll be focusing in 2 more and one of them I plan to get the Platinum for a special date to me. So I think the thing goes right. FFXV at hiatus again but I play it sometimes to grind, collect and making other stuff that will help me later and boost the thing really quick. I can't wait to start GOWIII, which is one of my most wanting games since long ago. Let's see how this turns on and keep going! Happy hunting to all !

Popular Post MidnightDragon
I've been working on and off on the Super Bomberman R grind the last couple days...though I did almost nothing Sunday due to being so fucking tired. Not sure what's driving me to keep going, but I will press on. Probably gonna look into a turbo controller in hopes of getting this platinum before the heat death of the universe. I also decided to go back and try to beat League of Evil...but I had rage deleted my save file both on my PS4 and the cloud. I've almost gotten back to where I was. I'm not sure it won't happen again, but I'll try. Made a few decisions that are making me totally redo my summer backlog list.

Popular Post Liioni
I finally got the platinum i Borderlands 3! I enjoyed the game, but they released a patch that messed up some trophies and made them harder (or well, at least more annoying and time consuming). Popular Post EPICRAGE
Latest update: I had a productive night and finished Ellen which I didn't like at all, and My Big Sister which I started playing legit but ended up button mashing all the dialogue. Only two games remaining! I was going to just do a final update when I completed everything but I decided to go for the double platinum by stacking both the NA and VITA versions of the last three games on my list. So it might take a little longer than expected but I should be done by the end of the month. With my leftover time before the Summer Backlog Challenge I think I might finally play the Resident Evil 2 remake, but I'm going to hold off on getting the platinum until I finish the other games in the series first. Popular Post Sword
With the new 1.4 Terraria update out for PC my sister, her boyfriend and I have been playing it for the past 4 days or so straight. Pretty weird not playing a console, don't remember the last time I played a PC game other than Factorio now that I think about it. Don't think I'll make any more progress in my completions for this event until we finish our Terraria journey, so I'll probably assume the spring event is completed for me. Did not manage to complete my goals in time but I wanted to spend the time I could with my sister before she has to go back to college in a few months. At which point I'll have a lot of time to complete whatever I want anyway.
Popular Post AuroraHistoire
Pure Psychological Torture ~ Quest of Dungeons Honestly, the game itself is alright. Quest of Dungeons is a very simple Roguelike Dungeon Crawler. You pick a character and explore a procedurally generated dungeon until you either die or defeat the final boss and collect the magical lantern. There are a total of 5 playable characters. They all have their own skills and 'unique' playstyles but you'll probably play as Assassin 90% of the time since they have a ranged basic attack that kills every enemy in 1-2 hits. You'll play the others at least once since you get a trophy for every character you beat the game with. The Warrior is the tanky melee attacking type; pretty much a worse version of the Assassin. As the Wizard, you spam the fireball spell and hope you win. Playing as the Shamam is casting the fear spell on every enemy and slowly beating them to death while they're paralyzed with fear. There is also the NecroDancer who I assume is from a lovely game that I haven't played myself but heard wonderful things about called Crypt of the NecroDancer. Playing as the NecroDancer doesn't turn the game into a rhythm game or anything and she basically plays a worse version of the Shaman and Wizard with slower movement speed. She is so bad that I had to abuse a glitch I discovered on my own to beat the game; I'll leave the glitch details in the spoiler tag. Spoiler You cast the "summon" spell into the room of the boss you want to defeat. Then you close the door, trapping both the boss and your summoned temporary companion in the room together. Then you run around until your companion slowly defeats the boss. If the glitch worked, the boss won't attack your companion for reasons I don't know. Sometimes the glitch doesn't work but in my experience it had a 50/50 chance of working. Both the Shaman and Necrodancer can use this glitch since they can both learn the "summon" spell. The game has a strange difficulty curve. After the first floor, if you're taking your time and leveling up regularly, standard enemies don't pose any challenge. The worst they can do is cause the bleeding status effect, set you on fire or freeze you: bleeding and fire will make you lose about 60% of your health over 10-20 turns and freezing will make you lose several turns. 90% of the enemy types are melee only, so ranged characters have a huge advantage. Bosses in this game tend to 1 shot you, even if you're in perfect heath and had all your vaccinations. Fortunately, all of the bosses (excluding the final boss) are melee only and you can exploit stairways between floors and warp portals to beat them without getting hit, if you're playing a ranged character. The final boss is tough and has ended many a run for me. All difficulties from easy to H E double hockey sticks feel mostly the same. Enemies are a little tougher on higher difficulties, I think. The trophy list is pretty good, with one exception. The majority is simple no nonsense stuff like beating the game with every character, beating the game on every difficulty, beating the game in under 30 minutes, completing 50 quests, slaying 20 bosses, and following a complex and cryptic set of instructions to unlock a hidden game of Snake, then scoring 1000 points in snake. Sadly, there is one sadistic trophy that turns an alright game into a absolute nightmare of pain and suffering. PICKING UP HALF A MILLION GOLD. It sounds simply and a little grindy but that's the understatement of the century. Only gold you find on the ground or the pockets of dead monsters count. At best, you'll pick up piles of 100 and a boss will drop between 1000-2000; those are the miracle numbers. Gold drops scale depending on what floor of a dungeon you're on; you need to be on floor 7 before the drops get good. A 7 floor dungeon run got me 10,000 gold per run while 10 floor dungeon run got me 30,000 gold per run; 10 floors is the maximum by the by. A ten floor run took me a little 2 hours on average; I mostly skipped floors 1 and 2 because they're not worth exploring for gold since the amount is so low but every other floor I would explore fully. This one trophy took as much playtime every other trophy combined, multiplied by 3. Quest of Dungeons is fine game in it's own right but it gets boring quickly, especially for a Roguelike. There is almost zero variety outside playing as a different character. I was getting sick of the game at the start of the whole 500,000 gold grind. Going through the whole ordeal was an emotional roller coaster of bordom and a lot sadness. There where breif bits of excitement when I found equipment that boosted gold gain or when the game lagged momentarily. I hoped the lag meant the trophy was about to pop; I was wrong 338 out of the 339 it happened. I also got brief moments of excitement whenever a notification popped up on screen. Anyway, every brief moment of excitement was always followed with disappointment and sadness. It didn't help that I always felt like I was close and I would get it in one more run. It took about 3 days, 4 days of long boring gameplay. At the end of it, I was excited because it was over. Was wasting 4 days of my life for gold trophy for a mediocre game almost zero people care about worth it? Yes. Since this is my last update, I should probably do something special. I honestly don't know what I'm supposed to do. I'll talk briefly about all the games. Dex was fun but the Vita version ran horribly. Scribblenauts Mega Pack was good. Scribblenauts was on my gaming bucket list, so I'm glad I played it. 198X had good gameplay but the story was not my blend of tea. You already know about Quest of Dungeons unless you skipped to the end. King's Quest was a fantastic game with an a-pun-dance of puns. Dex (Vita) - Scribblenauts Mega Pack (PS4) - 198X (PS4) - Quest of Dungeons (PS4) - King's Quest: The Complete Collection (PS4) - ?
Popular Post MidnightDragon
Still working on blocks and bombs. I ordered a turbo controller to assist me. It may not do quite as much when I do it manually, but will allow me to continue while I'm at work, sleeping, doing other things, etc. Assuming that I won't have it done by the time the summer challenge starts a week from Monday, I will pretty much reserve it to only when the turbo does the work for me...at least for the short term. Not sure what's driving me to go on, but I will press on.
Popular Post Litha
Update #5: LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 1% [1/76] God of War (PS3) - 0% ➡️ 50% [25/36]The Last of Us: Remastered (PS4) - 75% [43/50] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (PS4) - 100% [15/15] Dark Souls: Remastered (PS4) - 5% [4/41] Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) - 0% [0/77] Jotun (PS4) - 0% [0/37] A minor update from me today. I've made pretty good progress on God of War, a game I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I am. I figured it was just a game marketed toward edgy teenagers. It kind of is, but it's still a lot of fun. I'm currently somewhere near the end of the 'Cliffs of Madness' area, but I have one problem. My PS3 has a case of the YLoD (Yellow Light of Death, for those who are unaware, i.e. shit's buggered). I have had the issue previously, but it was remedied after a simple power cycle. Last time I tried however, it didn't work. Unless I can get it working again via some twist of fate I'm going to have to shelve both God of War and the rest of my PS3 library for now. Having given up on the prior, I decided to start LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2. I love Marvel and I love LEGO games, so this is a win for me. I've only finished the first level and I'm having quite a bit of fun (they finally made the flying controls tolerable). I'll continue with this, though I don't know if I'll be able to finish it before the end of the month. I still need to do 2 and a half playthroughs of The Last of Us for the platinum. I can't really be bothered at the moment. One downside of trophy hunting is that it can make playing your favourite games a chore. That'll be all from me. I'll post my Summer list soon, mostly consisting of games on my profile already so I can start recovering my completion percentage. Have a good day/evening all. [EDIT] False alarm. The PS3 is just being a bit temperamental. It works some of the time. Edited May 23, 2020 by SpaghettiGrabsy
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Final Update: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 100% God of War II (PS3) - 100% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 100% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 100% Knack (PS4) - 82% => 100% Final Fight: Double Impact (PS3) - 100% Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (PS3) - 100% Knack is done and that brings my list to a completion. The plat took me 4+ playthroughs. I took a couple of days off before I started on Very Hard difficulty. I didn't want to play it back-to-back-to-back-to-back. Very Hard had a couple of frustrating spots but for the most part it was ok. Overall it wasn't a bad game. I hear Knack 2 is better, if it comes to PS+ or I can find it on the cheap I wouldn't mind picking it up. Once again this was fun. I had a bit of a snafu with PS+ in the middle but managed to rectify it and stuck to my original list (and then some) in the end. As for the Summer Challenge, I thought about joining. I got the games picked out and uploaded on my profile but I don't want to make it official just yet. With a little more than a week left until the start I want to use this time to recharge and see where my mindset will be before I commit. Good luck to everyone still in this!

Popular Post MidnightDragon
Made some more progress in League of Evil. I'm almost back to where I was before. I also got the turbo controller for Super Bomberman R, so now I can AFK when I don't want to or unable to do so directly. Still hoping it won't be too long before it's done. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
A sleepy Sunday morning update from me and i'm trying to juggle writing this on my laptop while my cat is trying to attach himself to me for a fuss. I spread myself out a bit in terms of playing multiple games, which is something i tend to not do usually, preferring to focus on one fully before moving on to another. I'm honestly not sure what my success rate is going to be when we finish up this challenge so i'm crossing my fingers that i'll get at least some fully done. Anyway here we go for some specific stuff around the games i've been working on: Maneater This isn't part of my list, in fact, it was meant for the Summer list, but I got carried away and ended up straight up getting a platinum in it. I mega-streamed an entire Friday night and a full day on Saturday and got the 100% in 2 long sittings. I really enjoyed it and I think some people were either upset about the 7-10 hour run time or the price, or both. I will say from my experience playing the game that if it went on longer it would probably get a little tedious and outstay it's welcome. I do agree though, that this might have been a little pricey for what the game provides. But that's all subjective, so I respect that some people do see value in it. Darksiders Genesis Almost fully done with the main story and I think i only have one or two more levels to complete, then after that i'm going to do some chapter replays to pick up the last few collectibles, do the last arena mode level and then I think i'll be set to do a final playthrough on Apocalyptic. For me, this game has been fun to play, but I haven't found it anywhere near as engaging as the previous games. I've been trying to figure out why and I think it's because of the camera angle + distance. I'm so used to be over the shoulder of War, Death or Fury, I'm finding it hard to immerse myself as much in this one. Still a fun game though and I would recommend it to any Darksiders Fans. Yakuza 5: Remaster Same deal as my last update - quite a bit of progress in-game but not much in the way of trophies. I'm edging ever closer to the Hall of Famer trophy (100% completion for minigames/challenges) which should pick up some of the remaining miscellaneous trophies too. I managed to get to the last part of the story as well where i'm staying until i've finished all the side content off. Then it's ultimate mode and the legend difficulty playthrough and it's done. Danganronpa 1 2 Reloaded It's a shame each game in this pack doesn't have an individual platinum or 100% because i fully completed Danganronpa - Trigger Happy Havoc along with the School Mode and friendship building side trophies too. The next half of the platinum is another game entirely so i'm not sure i'll be able to get this one done in time. This was my first Japanese visual novel and it was an amazing experience. I streamed the whole game, reading it out (like an audio book ?) and working my way through the entire thing at a nice. Met some nice people while I did it too, so i'm definitely going to do the same with the sequel. Death Mark This is another visual novel and honestly one of the nicest looking and crafted horror stories i've read out and played. It is creepy, mysterious, gory and the ghosts/monsters are amazingly well designed. The sound design too is brilliant. I jumped a few times while playing it and I can't wait to go through the last couple of chapters we have to get through. The platinum seems pretty straightforward too so anything i missed won't take more than an hour to go back and pick up. Spoiler Darksiders: Genesis - 7% > 35% Moons of Madness Persona 5: Royal [Moving to Summer challenge] Resident Evil 3 Remake [Moving to Summer challenge] Final Fantasy 7 Remake Yakuza 5: Remaster - 54% > 58% Root Letter Life is Strange Life is Strange 2 Return of the Obra Dinn Forgotton Anne Danganronpa 1 2 Reloaded - 8% > 41% Deliver us the Moon Terminator: Resistance Death Mark - 0% > 20% Observation - 0% > 61% House Flipper Draugen Dream Daddy
Popular Post MidnightDragon
While I slept last night, my turbo controller got me a trophy in Super Bomberman R. It was the only one left I didn't need the turbo as much for. Now all that's left are the ridiculous grinds. Definitely get more done when I'm controlling it, but it's a nice thing to have. However, I probably will be mostly relying on the turbo until Tuesday because of my schedule. Edited May 24, 2020 by MidnightDragon
