Silly brain. As it turns out, I went through LEGO Force Awakens instead of Moonlighter. OOF. Otherwise, a good run at knocking out a good chunk of my backlog even with Animal Crossing eating up most of my time. See y'all for Summer! Edit: I just realized I can swap games AFTER the event started. WHEW. Hopefully this is okay! Assassin's Creed Odyssey Batman: The Telltale Series Dragon Quest Builders 2 Erica Full Throttle Remastered Gris Here They Lie ? Hellblade Yoku's Island Express LEGO Force Awakens Bonuses: Xeodrifter ? Assassin's Creed Odyssey definitely took the most time. There's so much going on in that game and at some point it just gets so repetitive. It felt like a chore wrapping everything up. Gris may have been my favorite of the bunch. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice definitely portrays mental illness in a realistic fashion but Gris was a much more enjoyable experience. Both are visually stunning but I feel like I remember more of the set pieces from Gris. Dragon Quest Builders 2 was very fun, but oddly I remember enjoying the first one much more and I'm not sure why. Everything else was pretty hit and miss. Erica was an enjoyable FMV adventure, though. Just seeing a LOT of it over and over again while going for the platinum was a bit jarring. Popular Post StilRh
Monday update: Only 2 bronze trophies achieved towards my listed games. When the stellaris update hit I messed around for 2 half days in that and spent 2-3 hours playing with Dungeon of the Endless (I loved Endless Space when I used to be a PC gamer, so I will insta-buy any Endless game that comes to playstation). A lot of staff sickness in the hospital I work at so I've been pulling extra shifts - this kills the urge to game :'( I'll try and finish Sakura wars, a really charming VN/musou game before the end of the challenge though.
Popular Post DarthMagnus0605
Final Update: Wow! I didn't think I would make it but I finally finished all of the games in my backlog challenge. I just got the platinum in Axiom Verge and with that all of the games I had intended to finish when the challenge first started are finally completed! This was an awesome journey and I am so glad I took part in it. I was able to go back and finish games that I wanted to finish and had a great time doing it. I also was able to finish some smaller games in my backlog as well and it was a nice palate cleanser in between some of the bigger games. Some final thoughts on the games I played: Best game I played during the challenge: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I had a great time playing this game and it rekindled my love of star wars and inspired me to go play more star wars games. Worst game I played during the challenge: Grim Fandango Remastered. I have a lot of respect for what this game was and what it means to a lot of people but the game did not hold up at all in terms of fun factor and gameplay for me. A very antiquated type of game. I had to use a guide the whole way through. I am posting a few of my favorite platinum screenshots as well as my final list of games that I completed to 100%. Can't wait to start up the summer challenge! Edited May 26, 2020 by DarthMagnus0605
Popular Post MidnightDragon
Less than a week to go for this challenge! Still working on Super Bomberman R. As mentioned before, if I fail to get it done by Monday night, I'll just put it on the back burner again for now. Since I have the turbo controller now, it does help when I'm doing something else or uninterested. I have four games on my summer list. Need five, would like six, but can't decide what...but not from lack of options. Edited May 27, 2020 by MidnightDragon

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Midweek update from me with Platinum 147 - Darksiders Genesis. This was a solid game which was a little bit rough around the edges in terms of gameplay. But other than that I enjoyed it from start to finish. There were a couple of points which I struggled with like the Belial boss fight and getting stuck in terrain at points when i would try to dodge, but it wasn't so bad that it caused me to lose interest in finishing. It doesn't really add anything substantial to the franchise story arc either from a story point of view and serves as a prequel to the original games. Worth a try if you like the franchise and also have an urge to play something Diablo-esque. We're almost at the finish line now and I know there is no way i'm going to be able to get everything done. I think the main learning experience I got here was that I shouldn't try and play loads of different games at once, it really kicks my focus in the ass. So for our lovely upcoming Summer challenge (thanks again @MidnightDragon for organising it) I'll be doing one at a time, two at the very most. For what remains now, I'm either going to knock out a couple of quick ones or really just fully focus on Yakuza 5 Remaster. Popular Post Xenoblast91
[LAST] UPDATE 7.0.: I gave my best and but say that I'm so satisfied at least! What a challenge... Well, my results are below from what I started and how I left the thing. Honestly I got into it with high expectations, but anyways I manages to clean few games that we're haunting me since long ago. 9 over 13 (when I started with actually) is a really good achievement IMO and for myself. Driveclub - 28%96% Ratchet and Clank - 0%100% LEGO Marvel's Super Heroes - 0%100% Final Fantasy XV - 33%63% Burly Men at Sea - 0%100% Foul Play - 0%100% Heavy Rain - 0%100% Soma - 0%100% God of War III Remastered - 0%100% ---------------------------------------Un-started: Darksiders III - 0% Horizon Chase Turbo - 0% Doom Eternal (Unreleased) - 0% Swapped for: Wolfenstein Youngblood Final Fantasy VII (Original) - 0% The last 2 games were amazing! Soma was defenitely something I wasn't expecting. The thrill, the atmosphere, the plot and the philosophical hindrances that drives you through the game were absolutely outstanding! I enjoyed it a lot, and because I'm not really fan of speeding games by any means, the challenge push me to try it, and also is a relatively short but truly enjoyable game! Following, God of War III. One. Of. The. Best. Games. Ever. Nothing more can be said about it. Saved for the last and specially for today (27/05), which marks the day I started to trophy hunting seriously, because I finished GOW 4 one year ago, exaclty. As I said, I don't like to push forward in terms of time and speedrunning games just for the sake of having an impressive timestamp in your profile for any game, but the challenge was basically that (at least for me because I choose games that were lenghty in some instances) with your backlog, but anyways, I really enjoy it and nwo I will think for the Summer one! Thanks to all for your posts, which were really inspiring and help me to understand that we make what we make because we love it! For the remaining games, I choose to leave them for later and enjoying them with its proper time into them. Thanks everybody, and specially to @MidnightDragon for organizing this cool event; and happy hunting to all !
MidnightDragon
Alternating between turbo grinding and manual grinding now. It does go quicker when I do it manually, but of course, prone to human error. Settled on my summer list. The only worry I have is Ghost of Tsushima being delayed again, but doubt that'll happen. Popular Post AscendancyGaming
Time for my third and final update. I finished two more more games, Skyrim and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. I've played both of them before on a different account, but thought they were good enough to play again. Made some small progress in Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 GO and haven't touched the other two games on my list. Popular Post MidnightDragon
As the Super Bomberman R plat still eludes me, I ask myself if it was worth this. Right now, I say probably not, but I likely will feel it is once I have the platinum. That being said, if it doesn't ding by Monday evening, I will put it on hold and will begin my summer list with Maneater Tuesday evening. Not pausing before that. I don't doubt I'll get it at some point. Just may not be when I hoped. Probably won't play Bomberman on a PlayStation again. Speaking of summer, not too late to sign up! Starts Monday. I've also been enjoying reading everyone's progress. I haven't decided yet if I'll split fall and winter up or do one mega challenge like I did last time. Anyway, thanks for participating everyone! Popular Post Fnee2000
Woah, what is that smell? It can only be the smell of defeat. Yes, it is time I throw in the towel for the Spring event as I will not be able to finish up anything else before tomorrow. I did manage to get some time in on Sleeping Dogs since my last update. However, I just ran out of steam for playing games in the later half of the May and watched some Netflix shows and movies instead. I hope to rebound back in June. This was definitely a very productive event for me as I got a lot of long games completed. I just fell three short of completing my list. Anyway, hats off to Spring and time to brace for summer! I'll clean up The Last of Us and God of War in my on time, though God of War will have to wait until my PS3 decides it wants to turn on. I'll be somewhat productive in the Summer challenge until The Last of Us Part II releases, at which point I'll drop off the radar until I finish a playthrough of that. Might give another go at s different time. I played The Bridge instead, nice puzzles with only a couple of really stressful levels, but in general just chilling and figuring things out. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Final update: It's been over a month since I last posted here. I've pretty much made next to no progress on my list since then, Fortnite has consumed most of my free time as of late (been grinding it for 12 hours today alone). I did start Shadow of the Tomb Raider and made it as far as chapter 9, but the game is so damn boring I have little to no desire to return to it. The lack of combat is a big letdown, and the sheer number of collectables, while expected, really makes the game a slog to play. It doesn't help that Lara just isn't that likeable in this entry either. I honestly though Rise was the better looking game too, though to be fair I did play that at a higher resolution(I think). I won't bother joining the summer event either, as I just won't be able to give it my full attention, but I'll be lurking for sure. Thanks to @MidnightDragon for hosting as per usual.
Popular Post Sword
Real Final Update this time I swear: Well as it turns out I put the pedal to the metal and knocked out 2 games at the last minute, even though a few days ago I said I was probably done with the Spring Event at that time. So in the end, other than Dragons Dogma, I got everything done I wanted too... kinda. Moved the Souls series to Summer, so that's what I'll be focusing on there. Going to go reverse this next event though and hit all the small games first and save the biggest for last instead of biggest first and small last. That way I can at least feel better about myself getting most of my list done right off the bat instead of clutching it last minute. Color Code: Red = Game not started. Green = Game is in progress. Popular Post MICSAM89
Update 5 & Final So thats a total of 3 games completed out of the 6. I definatly underestimated how much time AC: Origins would take to 100%. I was a lot more realistic with my choices for the Summer Challenge. The Sims wasn't all that much fun wth a controller t got to be a little slow and tedious, but Spider-Man thats a different storey they've basically taken all the best parts of the Arkham games and improved them. Popular Post StilRh
Final update: I'm a bit disapointed I didn't finish Sakura wars. An initial lack of focus on my listed games and an extreme lack of time (suprisingly enough considering the circumstances) has left me with a whopping 0/7 games completed (insert applause noise). Partly I have myself to blame since I played a bunch of non-listed games at the start of the challenge, but for the last month or so I just really didn't have the time to even boot up my console anymore untill today (played a hat in time for like half an hour because I simply couldn't resist it anymore) School has just been absolutely crazy lately and I really underestimated how difficult and time consuming having to learn and study everything all by yourself can actually be. Guess I'll never complain again about having to go to my lectures in the future ^^ I'm not really sure if I will be able to join the summer event this time around for this very same reason. Exams are starting next week and I feel like joining the event will only result in me failing to fully focus on either of these things. In a choice like this, the decision is unfortunately made rather quickly. There is nothing to say that I won't be joining in halfway through after my exams though and I will definitely be reading all of your updates even if I'm not participating myself, they are often such a joy to go through, especially during times like this. Good luck everyone, see you soon! Edited June 1, 2020 by Flex_Da_Brent

Popular Post Liioni
I managed to get a bunch of trophies right before bed yesterday, I was too tired to post about it then though, so here goes! My finished list from this event is not as finished as I would've liked, but hey, life happens! And I had some bad luck with trophies glitching or updates messing with the trophy list. (Also, new DLC in Borderlands 3!). I'm super excited about getting started on the summer list, I will also put some focus on getting the last ones in Knights of Pen and Paper +1. That game is really the kind of game that you should just play through right away. I started it and came back to it, played a bit and repeat. It didn't really work out because I never got "caught" in it. But when I started playing it again a few days ago I just focused on that game and I enjoyed it a lot more! I got the second one too, I might try it once I'm completely finished with this one! Thanks all for a great event! I'll see some of you in the next one! Popular Post Fanatixa1
Last update from me. I managed to finish Two Point hospital finally. I really enjoyed the game, but the crashes and save game problems were very frustrating and cost me a lot of time. The game seems to be fixed now so it's possible to finish it. I didn't finish Sekiro, but I'll finish it anyway now the challenge is over. I decided not to join the summer challenge so that I can finish some games that are above 30% completion. Popular Post MidnightDragon
Throwing the white flag for Super Bomberman R (for now). It’s not happening yet, much as I want it to. And it certainly wasn’t from lack of trying, but I’m closer to the plat. How much, not sure, but still closer.
