Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Before I even start on my (huge) update - everyone should go play the FF7 Remake demo - it's my new hotness! Between this and the RE3 Remake coming out soon, it's like an early Christmas! Time for a proper first update from me. In unrelated-to-this-list news I got my platinum in Battleborn! One of the grindiest things i've done in a videogame but also one which i'm really happy with, there is still some DLC to mop up but the game doesn't completely shut down until January 2021 so i can mop it up over time in the background. It's a shame really as the game just kind of died a short while after it was released. I think Overwatch had a huge amount to do with that as it was released a couple of weeks later. Playing Battleborn, I always felt like it could have grown into something brilliant if it had some time and space. Also, releasing a relatively similar game to Overwatch in the same month was a bit of a misfire in terms of business decisions ? I also got sucked back into The Division 2 and am playing that on and off in the background and so far having a ball with it. I'll be starting the Warlords of New York content once i've caught up with all the other stuff i missed since i last played. On to the list though - I made some starting progress in Life is Strange, which i'm loving. I played Before the Storm a little while ago so it's really nice to see some of the characters from the prequel in there. I should have the platinum in the bag for this within the next day or two. I also did a swap, dropping Journey to the Savage Planet completely, which I can't get into at all and replacing it with Terminator, which I'm hearing really really good things about. Future planning is tricky - I want the Resident Evil 3 remake to be my 150th Platinum (I have RE7 as my 50th and RE2:Remake as my 100th) so i'm going to have to really strategise with what level of completion i get initially. I'm definitely going to play it on release week, but i'm going to have to refrain from getting the platinum until much later, that's gonna be tough! My day 1 controller succumbed to that 6 months ago so I hope the new one hasn't gone already. Your right though, when you get that problem, it shows itself on a few games but not all.

I had to play half of the Kingdom Hearts games with the characters randomly moving slowly, since there's a dead zone on the top of the left stick. Now I have a controller that I use for 3D games and one for 2D games.
Popular Post GraniteSnake
First update from me, beat the main campaign in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Honestly it wasn't that great, the story was boring and predictable and none of the characters really resonated with me. Also what happened to all of the characters from the original game? And was Jonah one of them? I remember the first game being much better. I will say that the game looks amazing in native 4k resolution, really impressive. Started the game on survivor difficulty (the second highest available) and had relatively little problems throughout. The games checkpoints are very forgiving and the enemy AI very rarely overpowers you. I think I died more from platforming mistakes then I did from combat situations. The variety in platforming tools kept the game from becoming stale, but didn't really make up for the lack of exciting enemy encounters throughout the game. The enemies towards the latter quarter of the game seemed like a challenge at first, but you can just gain a height advantage on them and take them down in one melee attack from above. The final boss fight was very underwhelming also. My overall completion stood at 76% when I beat the campaign so I was pretty happy with my progress when all was said and done. My main focus now is reaching 100% completion - I'm taking it one area at a time so it's just a matter of collecting everything and completing most of the optional tombs as I revisit every location. I'd say I'll have a big chunk of it done within the next week!
Popular Post Fire
Update #2 Uncharted: Lost Legacy - 07/03/20 God of War Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Mortal Kombat 11 Horizon Zero Dawn Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls South Park: The Stick of Truth - 12/03/20 South Park:The Fractured But Whole Another one off the list. First time i played South Park on ps3 2-3 years ago i was really surprised how amazing that game was. So because of that i decided to play it again on ps4 and also to prepare myself for the sequel. Story is fun, enjoyable and weird in South Park way Only thing that kinda annoyed me is TOO MUCH MISSABLE TROPHIES So from the start of the game i was using guide and doing manual saves from time to time. I heard that the sequel only has 1-2 missable trophies so i'm looking forward playing it.
Popular Post DarthMagnus0605
Update #2: Finally got my 50th Platinum for Doom! I had so much fun playing the game again and I am soooo excited for Doom Eternal. Unfortunately I am now on the part where I have to play the multiplayer and "prestige" in the game at least 8 times I believe in order to get all of the DLC trophies. I have a lot of podcasts that I have been saving for this very moment!! I also made some progress in Shovel Knight after taking a break from Grim Fandango. I know that game is considered an amazing game but it has not been a fun experience for me. I pretty much gave up and I am using a guide to get through it at this point. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for an almost-weekend update from me with platinum number 138 - Life is Strange. It was a very easy platinum, but the story was wonderful. I felt quite tired by the end of it because it was emotionally charged for the entire playthrough and it kinda just got sadder and sadder as the episodes progressed. I'm glad i played it though and I thought the characters and story overall was really well crafted. Looking forward to playing Life is Strange 2, but i think i'll wait a bit on that to recharge after the first game My country is slowly locking itself down after all the madness in the world and my company sent us all home. So i'll have a few hours a day extra to play now that I don't have to commute while this craziness gets fixed. Stay safe and well everyone, look after yourselves! Popular Post Litha
Update #1: The Last of Us: Remastered (PS4) - 1%? (can't remember) ➡️ 11% [10/50] Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (PS4) - 0% ➡️ 9% [1/15] Dark Souls: Remastered (PS4) - 5% [4/41] Dragon Age: Origins (PS3) - 0% [0/77] Jotun (PS4) - 0% [0/37] LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 (PS4) - 0% [0/76] Added God of War (PS3) - 0% [0/36] Not a particularly riveting update from me, but I figured I'd check in nonetheless. I started Hellblade and The Last of Us a little while back but didn't manage to get back to them for a little while, as I found (and still find) myself busy with other pursuits. I haven't gotten into Hellblade again as I feel to truly appreciate the game one needs to be in a more focused state of mind, whereas recently I've been either tired or doing something else. The Last of Us on the other hand I have managed to get back into. I want to work through the bulk of the multiplayer as early as possible. I play support, mostly healing and giving items to other players, but I've gotten pretty decent at the combat too. You'd be surprised how effective the shite starting revolver is with the element of surprise and the ability to use both your arms and two brain cells simultaneously. I'm getting 5 downs/kills pretty easily, which certainly isn't impressive, but is good enough for the related trophies. I want to do a casual playthrough of The Last of Us on Survivor so I can appreciate the story and characters in anticipation for the sequel. I consider Survivor to be 'the way the game is meant to be played', as it provides the most challenge while still maintaining certain elements that I feel are good for it. For example if you're low on health/ammo, Ellie may give you a health kit or ammo, which I feel adds to the feeling of connection with her on a gameplay level. You likely won't be in a position to encounter this on easier difficulties, and grounded mode strips away this feature entirely. I know this approach on my part is sub-optimal, but I'm here for my own entertainment, not L33T Speedrun Strats. I imagine my roadmap will look something like this: 1. Multiplayer 2. Survivor playthrough (maybe sandwiched somewhere in the multiplayer) 3. Left Behind Survivor + Cleanup 4. Grounded 5. Grounded+ 6. Easy+ Cleanup Given I want to make The Last of Us my tenth platinum, I plan on completing Hellblade, LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 and God of War for my seventh, eighth and ninth platinum's, though not necessarily in that order. To that end I've decided to add God of War to my list. I played the 2018 installment and now I want to experience the rest of the games, though this alone will suffice for now. Not much else to add other than the above. I'll keep chipping away at The Last of Us Multiplayer. I'm hoping to progress at least a week in-game every day or so. I enjoy the multiplayer, but those journey trophies make me glad that Naughty Dog decided to make the multiplayer its own entity rather than put it in Part II going forward. Speaking of which, although I'm reasonably calm in anticipation for Part II, my subconscious is giving me some weird shit. Why am I having dreams about Ellie visiting a multi-tiered city built on top of a massive trash heap (made out of said trash, mind you)? Why am I having dreams about mowing through hordes of infected in a car while blasting 'Come and Get Your Love' by Redbone? I have no idea, though if that last one makes it into the game I'll probably piss myself. As always, I enjoy reading everyone's updates. I am not and will not be terribly active on my Playstation, so it'll be a while before my next update. Keep up the good work folks! Have fun! Warriors All-Stars - 0% Finished Demon Gaze II today, and I have to say I really didn't enjoy this as much as the first game. Toward the end it actually starting to feel like a little bit of a slog, and I usually like dungeon crawlers. I didn't really use much variety of the demons for my party, kept it mainly as Pegasus, Capricorn, Leo and Cignus, which are some of the first ones you get - I thought about using Draco but didn't want to spend the time leveling her up as it seems to take a while between levels. There seemed like a lot more fan service too in comparison to the first one, including a touching minigame to give maintenance to your demons and the ability to take them out on dates. I needed a bit of a grind at the end as I beat the game without getting the level 40 trophy. Not sure what game I have planned next, maybe something a bit more challenging and involved.
Popular Post dark_moon689
1st update from me, I am done with Grim Fandango, I remember playing this on PC back when I was 10 and messing up constantly, got it when it came out on PS4 and I hated the controls, the story is light fun and the puns make me happy... I enjoyed it but I got bored of the gameplay itself. I am also playing Uncharted 4, because I want it to be my 40th platinum, it currently sits at 15% but I won't add it here because I've done the minimum multiplayer for the Platinum and I can't be bother to deal with the rest of that mode. So no 100% on that. Games completed: 1/5 Swaps used: 0/2 1. (PS3) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - 20% 2. (PS3) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - 5% 3. (PS4) Grim Fandango Remastered - 9% / March 13th 4. (PS3) DuckTales: Remastered - 14% / Gotten a few trophies here but haven't link my ps3 to the internet... 5. (PS3) Hitman: Contracts - 7% - No actual progress. I am way too accustomed to PS4 ones so the graphics are an eyesore but the maps seem fun. Popular Post TheNazyKiller7
Update 1: The Sims 4 (8/51 I 16% >>> 51/51 I 100%) Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (9/49 I 13% >>> 28/49 I 42%) Limbo (4/13 I 23%) Doom Eternal (Releasing March 20th) Resident Evil 3 Remake (Releasing April 3rd) Final Fantasy VII Remake (Releasing April 10th) Finished my playthrough of the original Assassin’s Creed which did not age well, but was, nonetheless, a great experience. Earned my first plat of the month with Sims 4 which was the laggiest, most poorly optimized pile of garbage I have ever played. The last time I’ve watched The Clone Wars was back in 2015, and with the release of S7, I decided to rewatch the whole series. Due to said binge I decided to try out the Lego Clone Wars game which I already regret, but at this point I might as well finish it. I likely will not add anything in between Clone Wars and the release of Doom as I’m also playing Ori and the Blind Forest on PC at the moment. Added Limbo because I can’t play Clone Wars for longer than 2 hours without losing my mind, so a nice short game would be helpful. Popular Post Sword
Top of the morning to you backlog hunters! At least here in the USA it's morning. Anyway, it's been extremely fun to read your updates and progress reports over the last couple hours. Some of you have some pretty large lists that make me wonder if you'll be able to complete them all in time... but don't worry, I'll be cheering you on all the way through it. Don't make me whip out another pokemon cheerleader gif though *shakes finger*. Amid all the updates here's what I've been up too up to mid-month... Color Code: Red = Game not started. Green = Game is in progress. Blue = Game completed to 100% + DLC. ☐ Dark Souls 1: Remastered + DLC (PS4) 0% ☐ Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin + DLC (PS4) 0% ☐ Dark Souls 3 + DLC (PS4) 0% ☐ Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen (PS4) 0% ☑ Darksiders 1: Warmastered Edition (PS4) 100% on March 13th, 2020. ☐ Final Fantasy 7: Remake (PS4) 0% So, Darksiders 1 has been completed which went great with the RPG event. As a Christian myself, I absolutely loved the references to things like the seven seals, Eden, Tree of Knowledge, "Destroyer", "Betrayer", "Creator", "Council", "Horseman" that links back to biblical source material. Not that you have to be religious at all to understand it (and it's wildly different). My Christian friends would probably shake their head at me for playing it and enjoying it but come on... it's just a game. Haha. It's a hack and slasher, Zelda dungeon crawler, RPG element sprinkled game. Kind of a trail mix bowl of genres. Sprinkle a little angels and demons in there, add a big flashy sword, mix to perfection and wa-la. You got yourself a Darksiders. With that out of the way I am starting on the main meat of this event for me: Dark Souls. All three games. All DLC. My plan is to get up to the last trophy in each game (for the plat) quit and move to the next game. Then I'll platinum all 3 games on the same day in order so they appear numerically on my profile from 1-3. I've played the original Dark Souls multiple times on my Xbox, so this should go by extremely quickly. I haven't played Dark Souls 2 or 3 before in my life, so we'll see how quickly those go by. A bit nervous i won't complete, even though I only have 6 games. Why? Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Enough said. My excitement for that game is insane. It's a game I'm going to take slowly, enjoying every piece of it. I've never played FF7 before, but this game looks AMAZING. Which means... no other backloggery progress will happen in that time. We'll see how it plays out. That's why I gotta get going on Dark Souls... after I eat breakfast today. Cheers and happy gaming everyone! Good luck on all your goals and I can't wait to see you guys succeed!
Popular Post AmarisSkye
Not sure if I've even been added to the challenge yet (my first post was here) but here is my first update: 1. A Plague Tale: Innocence - 14% 2. The Bridge - 9%->14% 3. Grim Fandango Remastered - 6%->26% 4. Bendy and the Ink Machine - 0%->24% 5. A Way Out - 0% Got through year one of four in Grim Fandango Remastered. I am playing the whole game with tank controls which is a little clunky. I need to keep reminding myself that I want to use the directional pad rather than the joysticks in this game for ease of play. I almost wish that the joysticks got turned off when you turn on tank controls because that would get me to stop touching them. For The Bridge, I took some time to get one of the challenge trophies and then tried to work on the next puzzle I had available. I remember why I put this game down. I am still going to try and finish it but it is challenging especially because I keep forgetting the controls (is this a theme....gosh). Today I started Bendy and the Ink Machine but I haven't gotten any trophies in it yet. I am not looking forward to the horror aspect of this game but maybe it won't be so bad with the art style (which I am quite fond of). EDIT: So, I played some more Bendy and the Ink Machine & I have now finished Chapters 1-3 which has earned me 9 trophies. I like the game though the controls are a bit clunky. The story is quote weird which I am totally here for and as mentioned before, I am quite fond of the art style. I have never had a chance to play the original FF7 since I never had a PS1 when it first came out. I know that it is out on PS4 but ever since I heard about the remake I told myself I will just wait and play that. I also played the demo and absolutely loved the combat system. If I get through most of my other games on the list I will definitely add that game on there as well.

If I get through most of my other games on the list I will definitely add that game on there as well. My friend kept trying to get me to play the original FF7 on PS4, but I told him that if I did, I'd know the story too much and it wouldn't be as "exciting". Now he's completely jealous because I'll go in not knowing anything about the story. With the updated graphics, modern combat style (which I personally love. Reminds me of a mix between FF13 and FF15 combat styles), loveable characters and of course... another sweet plat to add to the collection, what's not to love? I almost considered not putting it on the list as well, but then I'd have to complete everything else before I got to it. Now I have an "excuse" to slide it right into my gaming schedule... Okay, so I'd have played it anyway. At least now if I get it done it can be on my backloggery list. A double win. For the demo, I haven't played it yet. My plan is to play it 1 day before the launch. That way, I can get super excited and not have to wait for weeks to play the real thing (only reason I haven't played the demo now). Argh. April 10th. So far yet so close now! I just hope they don't screw it up. A proper FF game that pays homage to the original formula, with modern twists on it... that's what we need. Personally I'm now overlooking FF15's disaster because I consider it one big beta test for graphics for FF7R.

Popular Post AuroraHistoire
I completed a game called Dex recently. I felt it was like Deus Ex: Human Revolution but in 2D. They're strangely similar and I played both the games really similarly. I paid very little attention to the plot and have almost zero idea what is even was. The gameplay was alright. There was some minor platforming and I enjoyed the simple unarmed combat. Guns were a bit awkward to use and felt a bit under powered, so I didn't use them very often. The hacking mini-game was a twin-shooter that was a nightmare to play. When I unlocked the shockwave ability for the hacking mini-game, it was better but it was still dreadful and slow. I never had major money issues in the game since I sold any guns & ammo I aquired as well as any random junk I found. There are minor RPG mechanics. You level up and earn skill points to unlock special skills. Lockpicking was the most useful. I was playing the game on Vita and the game was a bit unstable to say the least. Loading screens took a long time and were frequent. The game's favorite thing to do was crash loading screens. I think the PS4 version is doesn't have these issues. I own both versions because of crossbuy but I refused to switch versions out of pure stubbornness. I didn't like Dex at first but overtime I grew to like it, just a little bit. Dex (Vita) - Scribblenauts Mega Pack (PS4) 198X (PS4) Quest of Dungeons (PS4) King's Quest: The Complete Collection (PS4) - 58%
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update #2: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PS4) - 70% => 79% God of War II (PS3) - 0% Spyro 2 - Ripto's Rage (PS4) - 0% Syberia 3 (PS4) - 0% Knack (PS4) - 0% Not much progress in FFT0, played about 3 chapters this entire week. The plot is starting to thicken and a couple of characters are getting a bit of story. I got almost all of the misc trophies I could up to this point, half the trophies that remain are story-related. I might be able to wrap this up by the end of next week. I'm still switching in-n-out Two Point Hospital and Need For Speed, but now I've also started playing Warframe again. I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew. Edited March 15, 2020 by DizzyDavidson

God of War [PS4] (11%) 20. Fighting EX Layer (66%) Well.....I did quite a bit this week so i'll give a rundown. So for the first few days I worked on Horizon Chase Turbo since I was only missing a few trophies from the previous week and I just wasn't finding any matches online for Fighting EX Layer. The last few trophies were a little annoying to do, especially the 109 endurance race trophy since that alone took about 5 1/2 hours, but I still managed to get the platinum and first completion of the week. Next up I decided to start up Monster Energy Supercross and at first I thought this game was going to be a struggle for me since the controls were weird for me at first but after the tutorial race I was all set. I didn't really use the exploit until the 450 cup because I totally forgot I could do the exploit at any time. Whoops lol. So the trophies were pretty straightforward and a lot less grindy thanks to the exploit and it only took about a day to do and it became my 2nd completed game. Up next was Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Now before looking at the trophy guide, I assumed all the trophies were going to relate to just the campaign even tho the past few Call of Duty's have had multiplayer trophies and Veteran difficulty would be a little difficult. Veteran difficulty.....was a complete JOKE. The amount of Checkpoints you get throughout the campaign is wild since it felt like every 5 minutes I got a checkpoint. Plus it's definitely one of the shortest campaigns too since it only took me about 6-7 hours to do, and little less than 9 hours for the platinum. I'm only missing the Spec Ops trophy so if anyone would like to do that, feel free to message me!(Or the Fighting EX Layer Matches too ) 4th game I played this week which was one of the games I played this weekend was A Hat in Time. I bought this awhile ago because it was on sale and was planning on playing it sometime last year but never did and instead I played it for this challenge. This game was really fun! Loved the different abilities you got from all the different hats plus it was just really awesome to play a fun platformer. Loved every single world you visit in the game and the final boss fight was pretty fun to do! Trophies itself was pretty easy and it only took me about a little over a day and it's my 3rd completed game. Then finally, I decided to go back into Need For Speed Heat. I finished both the Race side story as well as the Off Road side story so I'm done with all the "story" related stuff. I also managed to get to level 50 for Rep and a few miscellaneous trophies along the way. Then it was just trying to get all the collectibles and 3 starring everything so I can complete this hopefully before Doom Eternal comes out. That's my main goal so if I can do that, it will be great, if not...eh....whatever lol. So overall pretty good progress so far, and i'm really enjoying this challenge so far! Also cool to see other people's progress on their games with their lists. Keep it up everyone! Edited March 16, 2020 by IzTriicky__
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for another update on my end with Platinum number 139 - Terminator: Resistance. I'd heard some really positive stuff about this game and it happened to be in a recent PSN sale for 15 euros. So I thought i'd give it a shot. It's clearly been made on a low budget but it does some pretty great stuff with what it has to work with. It's a solid, narrative driven shooter with light RPG mechanics and those NPC conversation trees that I so love. It can lean into the cheese a little sometimes, but overall this was a super enjoyable game that uses alot of officially licensed assets from T1 and T2. I might be biased though because I love every Terminator movie, even the rubbish ones, so I'd say your mileage might vary out of this one depending on whether you enjoyed the first two movies at the very least. I'm still enjoying the Division 2 expansion and am now progressing through the first Diablo-style season ingame which i'm having a blast with. Also on a non-list related note, I just saw the new DLC for Control is almost here so it's gonna be a battle to not let some of that stuff impact the progress of the list. The list rules all! As I suspected, my country is about 80% locked down, so between working from home and the free time i get from not commuting, extra gametime is definitely flowing! I'm aiming for some of the shorter titles on my list at the moment in preparation for RE3 and FF7 remakes. Spoiler Darksiders: Genesis Moons of Madness Persona 5: Royal Resident Evil 3 Remake Final Fantasy 7 Remake Yakuza 5: Remaster Yakuza 6 Life is Strange Life is Strange 2 Return of the Obra Dinn Forgotten Anne Danganronpa 1 2 Reloaded Deliver us the Moon Terminator: Resistance Dragonball Z Kakarot Observation House Flipper Draugen Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #2 Another one down and two more on the list. Got Gorogoa to 100% and I want to add The Sims 4 and Nioh 2 to my list. Gorogoa was a lot of fun. I completed it 5 times before I got the "Dexterity" Trophy. Every Input counts as a move, so use the analog Stick for left, right or up. This makes everything much easier. Color Code: Red = Game not started. Yellow = Game is in progress. Green = Game completed to 100% + DLC. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Gris (0% --> 100%) 2. Gorogoa (0% --> 100%) 3. Torchlight 2 (4% --> 34%) 4. Hunt: Showdown (24% --> 30%) 5. Tom Clancy´s Ghost Recon Breakpoint (10%) 6. Tera (0%) 7. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (0%) 8. MediEvil (0%) 9. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (0%) 10. The Sims 4 (0%) 11. Nioh 2 (0%) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Swaps used: 0/2 Swapped games: None Games completed: 2/11
Popular Post VoxAnimi
Well, this is my first update here, but I wanted to compose one to notify people of my status so far. While I've not started on my list yet, I intend to commence mine today by starting it off with Transistor. I've been anticipating this game for a while since I'm a fan of Supergiant Games. Additionally, I've decided to swap out the Sims 4 for Forma 8 since I felt ambivalent about obtaining its platinum with the exploit method, yet felt uncertain of its quality if I were to proceed to play it normally. Hope everyone's been making worthwhile progress on their list of games though.
