Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
? Happy St. Patricks Day everyone! ? Jumping in with another update and Platinum number 140 - Forgotton Anne. This narrative driven platform puzzle game was utterly beautiful and a pleasure to play from start to finish. It gave off really strong Studio Ghibli vibes throughout and I loved the story that unfolded across the short runtime and boy do I dig Studio Ghibli stuff. The story was incredibly compelling and the character design was inventive and interesting. Overall this game was just a lovely thing to play in these chaotic times. Highly recommended to one and all. LEGO Marvel Avengers was the standard LEGO game on the Vita, but a difference is that it contains a HUB of New York City. It was fun in the beginning, but the trying to find the collectibles in the whole city with no assistance (no Red Brick is available) was definitely not my favorite part. Queen's Quest 2 and 3 were fun Artifex Mundi games that create a nice break when I am playing my longer games (Horizon Zero Dawn and LEGO DC Super-Villains). I really enjoy the puzzles that are contained and finding the hidden objects. I have made some good progress in Horizon Zero Dawn (even if my trophies don't reflect it) because I had to start from the beginning and the game is even better than I remember. The attention-to-detail and the dynamic characters really help this game shine. Lastly since everything is going so well, I am going to add some short games to my list to keep the downward trend on my backlog while playing HZD. I love reading everyone's updates, it really helps add motivation to keep getting trophies ☺️
Popular Post VoxAnimi
Update #2: After being thoroughly immersed in Transistor for the last day or so, I'm now at 64% on the trophy list. I must say, it is quite a phenomenal game. The plot was rather compelling, especially to see the world being affected around you by the ongoing events, the plot exposition by interacting with the terminals/using the functions in various aspects (Finding out the backstories of characters from using the abilities you acquire in passive, upgrade, or primary form.), and the narrator contributed to my enjoyment as well. Ending also made me emotional, although I will not divulge about it as to refrain from spoilers. Another brilliant aspect was the art style, and I took quite a few screenshots of the cutscenes/world. I love the colors used and it is quite appealing to look at. Gameplay also resonated with me, and the seamless usage of real time/turn-based is a feature I appreciate. Especially after acquiring some decent upgrades, you can have a pretty OP build that obliterates the enemies in the general vicinity. I think it was a wise decision to commence the event with this title. Regarding the trophies themselves, I obtained a fair amount of them by experimenting with different functions and doing tasks as I went along the first playthrough, although a plethora of them came during the early portions of the second playthrough. All I have left is to complete the NG+ playthrough, reach level 24, complete 2 more performance tests/the last agency test, and a few other miscellaneous requirements. However, I feel like Supergiant Games excels in the trophy list department since it's not an effortless one, but since it's such a fun title to play, the trophies themselves don't feel like a slog to obtain. I should ideally have the platinum by tomorrow evening if all goes well. I'm glad with my progress so far. Just contemplating what I'll start after this. My list currently: Detroit: Become Human (At 25% currently.) Forma 8 Indivisible Transistor (0% to 64% as of 3/17/20.) Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner Swaps used: 1/2 I replaced Sims 4 with Forma 8. Edited March 18, 2020 by VoxAnimi

I thought it's was an ok point and click game most puzzles felt logical once you put all the pieces together and talk to basically everyone. The story at least for me felt so so, like it was missing something maybe... I don't know. However I enjoyed most of the dialogue itself, lots of puns and sarcastic responses. The tank controls are a bit annoying but bearable once you get used to them, they are simply dated is all... And you can't skip cutscenes which makes backtracking to a save because I missed a trophy a bit tedious. I am glad I finally played it, as it was one of those games that I remember being interested in but frustrated with as a child, and now is done.
Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 2.0: Alright. I think that I was little bit greedy with my original list. Also, I think that I'll keep few in reservoir for the last month. I'm currently playing Driveclub. That one, as I said before, is challenging for me. I know many people haven't had issues with it, but at least for me, I'm proud that giving always the 100% to finish it. Slow progress, but have some at least. Also, I had a problem with my Doom Eternal shipping. Apparently is going to take me a while to play it, so I'm to put that aside... for the moment. As far, Driveclub goes from 28%➡38%. This is going to take me a while. I'm going to commit for whole march to this racing game, before the servers' shutdown. Speaking of which, I have some good and some bad news here, also regarding real life stuff. In case you're interested: Spoiler Let's just get the bad news over with: it turns out that I have been infected with Covid-19. Since university has been closed for a while now, I decided to try and help out the people at my local supermarket cause they were really struggling to keep up with all the work due to the huge amount of hoarding that has been going on for the last week or so. Maybe not the best idea in retrospect since this is most likely the place where I got infected but I don't really regret doing it either. These people, along with medical personnel and others of course, who keep our society going during these difficult times definitely deserve all the help they can get. I'm, however, staying home from now on of course and luckily the disease hasn't really hit me that hard (so far). Currently still feeling well enough to just be able to sit things out at home which brings me to the good news: lots and lots of extra gaming time. So definitely no need to worry about me, I'll be fine. So far not been able to make much progress on my list, but given my current situation I'm hoping to get a lot more done during the following weeks. Did a bit more grinding on Dauntless at first but all of my attention is slowly starting to turn exclusively towards Bioshock 2 atm. Halfway through the game right now so I feel like it's a good time to give some initial thoughts on it: Bioshock 2 Spoiler If I'm being honest, I was a bit sceptical going into this one at first thinking there was no way that it could ever be as good as the first game and seeing as many people do indeed seem to refer to this one as the weakest of the series left me with kinda low expectations. Well, turns out I was wrong. In terms of story it's probably not going to top the amazing twist B1 had, but in terms of gameplay I feel like a lot of things have actually improved. First of all, not having to switch constantly between plasmids and weapons is something I severely missed in B1 so I was very pleased to see it being taking care of in this installment. Secondly the hacking system is much and much better as well. Less repetitive, less boring, less unfair (kinda at least ^^) and overall just less of an "immersion-killer" compared to the first game. Being able to escape combat situations with a hack was quite handy but it often completely killed the vibe for me. Lastly, the weapons are a bit more fun to handle as well. Absolutely loving the rivet gun and the speargun since they allow me to play more stealthily which is the way I prefer to play anyway and being able to drill splicers to death is also way more entertaining than I initially expected. Small point of critiscism however: not exactly the biggest fan of the little sister babysit missions. Never liked these kind of escort/protection missions in games in the first place though so that's perhaps not really B2's fault. Overall just very enjoying the game so far and still got quite a lot laying ahead of me, looking forward to it. Let's hope progress will be made more swiftly from now on. It's looking pretty good trophywise though, almost done with all of the miscellaneous tasks so I can start picking up the pace a bit. Just need to get the remaining collectibles and fully complete all of the research. Fully researching the big sisters might become a bit of an issue since I did forget doing it one time and they are quite rare but I hope it will be fine. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone and hope y'all stay safe and well. Untill next time! Edited March 19, 2020 by Flex_Da_Brent

Popular Post GraniteSnake
Made a nice bit of progress since my last update - I've completed everything bar score attacks (have yet to start them) and the endurance mode (both solo and co-op). Speaking of which, does anyone here have this game in the their backlog and would like to do the endurance co-op with me? I figured I may as well ask before I go and make a boosting session in search of a partner. Been grinding the co-op portion of Fortnite (Save The World) on the side as well. It's definitely a long-term project as the requirements for some of the trophies are absolutely absurd. Nearing the end of the Canny Valley quest-line, will probably start grinding 'Play With Others' missions once I'm finished with quests (1,000 required...) 4 hours ago, Flex_Da_Brent said: PS: are you guys able to open up the spoiler tags in my post btw? Popular Post VoxAnimi
Update 3 and first completion: I just finished Transistor right now, which officially is my first completed title of the event. My NG+ run proceeded at a rapid pace due to the help of a good friend of mine on PSN providing me information to create an amazing build that is capable of performing high damage to enemies. With those functions enabled, it made this a breeze, which explains why it only took me 2 days and 7 hours to finish in addition to the game itself being a fairly short one. I'm definitely thankful for his assistance. Personally would consider the NG+ run just as enjoyable as the first time around, especially since the upgrades and higher level provided for a fresh experience. I did encounter a brief barrier in the forms of the last 2 performance tests required for the complete all tests trophy initially, but I devised a solid tactic that involved using switch, mask as 2 separate functions, and bounce as a primary function with void and tap as secondary options that benefited me immensely. I actually genuinely enjoyed the challenges, which should indicate how fond I am of this game. I'm a bit sad I finished it quickly, but I'm glad to have played this phenomenal masterpiece, so I am proud to display its platinum on my profile. I'm still pondering over what to play next, but I'm just glad that this event is compelling me to complete games that linger in the depths of my profile. It's also pleasant to read about other people's experiences and see how they're faring as well. My list currently: (1/5 games completed) Detroit: Become Human (At 25% currently.) Forma 8 Indivisible Transistor (Completed on 3/18/20.) Zone of the Enders: the 2nd Runner Swaps used: 1/2 I replaced the Sims 4 with Forma 8. I finished the DLC for Borderlands 3, I really enjoyed it, I didn't plan on finishing it before the main game, I just wanted to look at it, but I got caught in the story and I just couldn't help myself. I've continued on the main story line and also try to do some of the optional things so I won't have to go back as much later on. I'm having a lot of fun in it and I'm glad I decided to focus on it now when I got a tiny bit more time. Other than that I've played some Knights of Pen and Paper +1, its a fun game so far, I'm not really focusing on anything so I might have to replay the game more than once, but that's fine with me regarding this game. I also have the second one so I'm planning to do that after finishing this. I have also played some Degrees of Separation but no trophies so far, I'm playing it together with my partner so it will probably be one of the last one I finish. It's great to follow everyone's progress!

Satisfying rapid trophy progress as you tick off the final collectables, all of which you can get in 1 run, and then a couple of event trophies via chapter select. It really is a wonderful story with a real fresh feel to the game play. With the collectables and the fact that it's not too tricky, it's my type of game. I set aside the best part of a day to do a violent play-through on Detroit, the main focus being killing Connor in every way possible ("I'm just a machine replacing a machine Lieutenant. You don't have to get emotional about it." "F*ck you."). Another dark depressing ending but at least I was going for it this time. I'll leave the final happy play-through for a month's time. We're living through an event right now that'll be known to future generations like we know world war 2. (I'm only comparing the pandemic and WW2 as global sustained events, apart from that, they are very different). In the future, there will be a lot of "what were you doing when...?" Well everyone, I was turning 35, working in a pub and getting the Skyrim platinum for the 1st time (couldn't be added to the list as I'm not doing the DLC). Because of this, Sleeping Dogs is currently parked. I did start South Park: TFBW earlier today. I'm going to really enjoy this one. I got a trophy for doing a poo. I turned 35 today ? As others have said, I thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's progress updates. I'm looking to add a couple more to my list based on what others are saying about their experiences, exciting! Perhaps another VN for the vita. Stay safe guys. Popular Post ZachGM91
Bastion: 0%➡️100% Batman: The Telltale Series (PS4): 0%➡️100% Bioshock 2 (PS4): 0% Guacamelee! 2: 100% Hotline Miami: 87% Journey (PS3): 0%➡️100%✅ Bastion was good, but I don't really have much to say about it. The main take away from the game is the Totems. It reminded me of how Transistor did difficulty challenges (the more you have on, the more exp and money you gain). The Totems were a lot more trouble then they were worth, but if you upgrade your weapons right and equip the right elixirs, they can pretty much neutralize any negative effects. That being said, I could only do it on New Game+/Score Attack Mode, so it's not that helpful. Batman is probably the worst Telltale game I've played so far. I was so not into any of what was going on. I should have cared about what's going on. It's a new take on a bunch of well know characters, but the story just dragged on and I just wanted more gameplay and less melodrama scenes. The new villain was cool and had me guessing who it could have been, but even that fell flat by the end since Telltale needed to tie all the ending together so they could start Season 2. I really hope that Season 2 is a lot better, because the lack of anything to do has really put me off so far. A replay of Journey. Now I'm at a cross road. Do I try to get the glitched trophies from Hotline Miami, or do I switch out for something else? I still have Bioshock to complete to make that decision.
