No, I take it back. The list of this thread is even worse (Crash Bandicoot... for real?) and that takes effort. At least Crypt is #1, may be the only vid of this type that states so, which is quite sad.

The dash eternal trophy isn't even the hardest trophy in Hyper Light Drifter.

Dude in the video clearly did a search on google and took notes on the first 10 games that appeared. 

 

Besides crypt of the necrodancer, the rest is pretty stupid, i would even argue that there's games way harder to plat than crypt of the necrodancer, but that's subjective.

Also, seemed odd that most of the video seemed to show XBOX controls/gameplay when it's a video specific to PS4.

No, it's not too difficult at all really. A couple of tricky trophies but that's it. There's also a lot of collectibles, but there was a good guide on youtube which I used without issue.

I don't see a problem with Crash being on there. It's probably the only game on the list that most people have played.

 

Personally, I'd rather see a list of the top 10 tough but fair platinums. It's too easy to make a hard game. You could slap together a platformer, throw in a bunch of unfair hazards and a death system that puts you back at the very beginning whenever you mess up, but that doesn't make a game good or worth playing. If a game is good and the trophy list is fair, people won't mind going for the platinum. That's why supposedly difficult games like Crash, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne have such common plats.

 

If developers just wanted to make a top 10 list, they could've required plat relics in Crash or beating Dark Souls without getting hit. Thank God they didn't.

i found red dead 2 trophies to be easy, I know some of them were long but not that hard.

Then what's the point? For the casual gamer, a trophy requiring you to finish the SP mode of a CoD game is probably beyond their reach.

All I said was my thoughts on Wolfenstein II. Yes, that trophy is hard. But there are definitely games out there that are much harder, it just happens that Wolfenstein II is a AAA game.

 

Leaving out a few games in that video that are well known amongst the trophy hunting community as being very difficult shows it was targeting people who aren't really trophy hunters. A number of these games I have no intention of playing because I'm not interested.

 

To make a quick thought on a game I think shouldn't be on there, and then have someone say I should get the platinum while you come on here and say I'm just here to stroke my ego, while your post has 15 fucking upvotes, really says a lot about this fucking community.
