Possibly unobtainable platinum...

5 posts in this topic

A few weeks ago I started this game and was able to do all online trophies just fine except one, The Supporting Act, which becomes unobtainable due to not being able to receive invites from other players

Normally, you'd think this is a NAT issue like many other PS3 games, except after some troubleshooting, I can tell you it's not. When tested for connection issues: 20+ players, could only invite 7, none could invite me. 2 Different ISPs, wifi/cable, UPNP on/off, DMZ, open ports, NAT 1&2. Nothing worked.

So I tested it on an old account from 2014ish where I had previously played this. It worked instantly. This rulled out connection & patch/console issues. Still no trophy. Moving on, I tried it on an account where I did all online trophies around a year ago, and to my surprise, I couldn't receive invites either. I've then tried a name change, deleting friends list, ps3 messages, nothing.

So far only me and @Wip3r_U have this issue, I suspect there could be more out there and probably more in the future. People have been getting the trophy recently, so this issue comes at random and I've yet to found the cause for it, all we know is it is account specific.

Hope this thread serves as a warning and discussion for what it could possibly be causing the issue.

Looks like servers just went offline today for DJ hero 1 and 2, and GH5. :(

Hoping it's just a temporary issue, but otherwise DJ hero 1 is unobtainable for me as well.

Online is closed. This was announced so i don't think there's any chance to bring them back.
