szaleroPL
I'm halfway through fort frolic, and so far my game crashed FIVE TIMES. Original version on ps3 haven't crashed once. Game looks better in some areas, but i would rather have stability over improved visuals. Is it just me or is it crashing for everyone?
Popular Post PooPooBlast
Never had an issue with it. Was a smooth buttery 60 fps throughout.

Redgrave
Yeah my game would crash often if I paused the game for too long so I would have to make sure to save whenever I made some progress. However it was only the first game that I really had this issue with. The second game was a lot better and it crashed rarely if at all. The guy's talking about game crashes, so your comment about frame rate isn't even relevant.... It's well-documented that the PS4 version of BioShock is prone to crashing. Good for you if that didn't happen when you played it I guess.

tanatos_gc
I platted the game a few days ago and 0 problems. I read about issues regarding crashes, glitched trophies, etc. But luckily, the ps4 pro performed smoothly the whole time, dlc included.

When frame-rate starts to chug or dip it tends to signify a crashing game? how did you not know this, Its prevalent on console games when there's an error in software or programming (Memory leak ect). Literally you can google it?

But yes, thanks for the smartass response. Much appreciated.
Lum
Yeah I remember this game crashing quite a bit for me as well. I also remember almost having to restart a whole new Survivor no-vita chamber playthrough because of my save file getting corrupted too. Since it's been a long while since I played it, if I remembered correctly how it happened was that I think the game crashed on me while my save file was loading. Luckily, I backed up my save file on a USB and was able to continue only losing about a few minutes of progress. With this game, I HIGHLY advise making backups frequently, perhaps more than usual. This game, along with Dishonored and Dishonored 2 have been the most notorious for me so far when it comes to bugs and crashes.
EcoShifter
Half the reason I didn't commit to playing the game in October; I was informed about the remastered version's crashing, freezing, and glitched trophies (and save file corruption I think). Zehzin90
Just got the platinum. Had do huge chunks of Hephaestus and Neptune's Bounty and almost the entirety of Fort Frolic twice because of crashes and glitches. My advice would be to save every 10 minutes, but aparently there's a limit in the save file size.
Platisfaction
Never have I encountered a single glitch, crash or even save file corruption when playing the three remastered Bioshock games. Never ever. This thread seems to show that this is true for the majority of players. Makes me wonder if it has anything to do with retails vs. digital version? I got the retail version...
Ekolide
Finished it yesterday with no issues here, only bug was with the goal tracker. It's a 2007 game and if anything I'm surprised how well it's aged with the remaster. Edited February 7, 2020 by Ekolide
zizimonster
I'm wondering if these crashes, bugs, and save file corruptions are related to PS4 or PS4 Pro.
HusKy
No issues on my end either - Digital version, PS4 Pro. It seems pretty random judging by the posts from everyone here.
