Squirlruler
Is it that bad? I haven't done much of the treasures since I don't have all the unity levels up yet... Those are fucking annoying to level :[
BizarreAsh
I have nothing to base this on other than my own experience but so far I've had better luck getting clues when I give them items they like that I haven't got a clue with before. So like I get clue one from giving a max potion but no matter how often I give them a max potion I haven't had much if any luck getting the next clue once I have the first treasure in each area. Something else they jump for seems to give me better odds of getting the next clue. It's still going to be hell but since I took notice of this and keeping a list of items I've given I seemed to be getting them a little more frequently. Like I said this is just from my own experience and I've only done 2 and a half areas so far but I thought I'd put it out there just in case it can help

Basically you need Wide-Range 5 > drink potion > heal grimalkyne (can be at full health) > Claim Expedition Rewards > repeat until level 6 16 hours ago, BizarreAsh said: I have nothing to base this on other than my own experience but so far I've had better luck getting clues when I give them items they like that I haven't got a clue with before. Back then I did a Custom Pouch with the most wanted items, which apparently aren't enough (Forest grimalkyne liked bombs, Wildspire like bombs too, and Rotten don't care about bombs at all). Oh man, before this post I spent almost 2 hours going back and forth Wildspire and Rotten Vale and got only two tips on Wildspire, nothing on Rotten Vale. YORGOS_PB
Necroing this topic, is anyone aware of a better updated method?
Lil-Gocee
After finally finding all the treasures I thought I'd share my experience since I don't see that much info on it. This is just my experience, not a guarenteed method since it's mostly up to rng. From what I understand it's a hidden stat/counter that progresses each time you trade, so don't feel discouraged if it's takes more reloads than u hoped because u will get it eventually. Some obvious tips are make a loadout specifically for treasure hunting and pay attention to the ways the tribe members act (uninterested/curious/excited). U want to make sure that the stuff you trade is stuff they really want. The way I did it was; - I focussed on 1 area at a time (Not very efficient, I just prefered it that way) - I made sure to only trade items that I thought would fit the interests of the tribe (Traps for Bugtrappers, Heal/Buff items for Escorts) - This might just be superstition, but I traded a highly requested item with ALL of the tribe member before reloading. While doing this it generally took me 1 to 3 reloads to get the first 6 treasures and up to 9 reloads for the last 4 treasures. BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: I noticed that a lot of people I hunted crowns with, weren't aware that you can actually fast travel to the pawswap location the next time you load in after you unlocked it. BurningIce1313
After seeing this I feel like i got lucky, it was time consuming but i would get a clue like 50% of the time and I did nothing special besides give them stuff that made them happy when I clicked on it. YORGOS_PB
I haven't even tried Treasure Hunting yet, even after originally making this topic. I'm more "worried" about this than crowns. I'll eventually do it, but boy oh boy what a pain it was back then.
SimmondsR
This is such a fucking chore.... I did your Gold Crowns Capcom....why....why does Japan insist on this shit?! It wasn't enough to stick a bunch of 1%/2% Crowns in your game you also had to do this shit.... and the small endemic life stuff too..... Please. If anyone at Capcom reads this (which is 0.000001% of a chance at this point) don't do this in the next game...please.
