Endings and saves

Am I able to load in a save just before the final thing to get the 4th hidden ending as well as the "To Eternity" (neutral) and "Dweller in the Dark (good) endings?

I think not since ending is tied to certain items you obtain throughout your playthrough and you have to obtain all endings anyway.

No, you have to get them all on the same save file and to elaborate on what was mentioned above, they are tied to whether or not you restore the memories of the Successors while in their memories. So getting neutral means you only restored one or two of the memories while the good ending means you restored them all. Restoring the memories is based on whether or not you find all the Vestiges in the same level that you fight the boss in.

 

So before fighting the boss you will want to talk to the Io looking person standing outside of the boss area and restore the bosses memories before fighting them. Then while in the memory sequence (the one after you beat the boss) you will get the option to restore the boss after they turn into a statue. If you don't get the option to restore it then it means you didn't restore their all their Vestiges.

 

And as a heads up so you can get the true ending, don't restore any of Io's memories until after you get the good ending.
