It's best to do this on casual mode and near the beginning of the game (first 2 chapters). Kill everyone except 1 person, put a little distance between yourselves and just hack away until you get it. It doesn't have to be perfect. Keep some healing stuff on yourself and it's best to do this in either split screen or with a friend online so your partner doesn't kill them. I also think it's easier to deflect if you're on the same level (height wise) as them. Takes the guesswork out of it a little. Hope that helps.
